Our comment from DrivingSchools.Directory about Able2drive:
Able2Drive is a highly regarded driving school in Australia, known for its commitment to helping students achieve their driving license in a positive and supportive environment. The majority of clients praise their experience with the instructor, Alex, who is described as:
- Professional and knowledgeable: Alex has a deep understanding of road rules and driving requirements, making him an effective instructor.
- Patient and supportive: Many students highlight Alex's calm demeanor, which helps alleviate anxiety during lessons.
- Engaging and fun: Students have enjoyed their lessons and appreciated Alex's friendly approach, which makes learning to drive an enjoyable experience.
- Results-oriented: Numerous reviews mention passing the driving test on the first attempt, thanks to Alex's thorough preparation.
While most feedback is overwhelmingly positive, there are a few concerns regarding specific cases where communication during driving tests could have been better managed. However, these instances appear to be isolated, not reflective of the general satisfaction from the vast majority of students.
Overall, Able2Drive stands out as a fantastic choice for anyone looking to learn how to drive confidently and successfully.

Negative experience: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, PlEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE HIRING THEIR SERVICES!! I wonder if all the reviews are true. I previously had professional driving lessons with an instructor, so I decided to schedule my driving test with Able2drive based on the supposed “good reviews for this school”. First they asked me to pay in cash, then I had an hour of driving with the instructor, who told me that everything was ok, then another person came to take my test (apparently he works at the same school as the instructor), during the test he told me that I was doing well and just before finishing the test he told me that I “forgot to turn on the light” and that therefore he has to cancel my test (which obviously wasn’t true. I didn’t forgot my light). After this, the person with whom I had the driving lesson at the beginning told me that normally people usually book 3-5 lessons before passing the test. (knowing that I have experience driving, that I had classes with a professional instructor already and also considering that he previously told me that I drove well and everything was ok). The examiner told me that he has to cancel my test because I supposedly failed to turn on the light (which wasn’t true). and he told me this while I was driving on the main avenue. As an examiner, shouldn't he be cautious and wait until the test is over to tell me these things? Did he intend to make me nervous? What kind of examiner is going to put you in such an awkward situation when you're driving? I don't know what's going on here, but I don't think what is happening is fair or professional. I’ll appeal and I hope you guys do your homework properly so that you do not fall into the same situation.
Hi “Ella” I thought your name is Karla, that’s what it says in your learner’s permit. I don’t appreciate your giving us bad review for your own fault at the driving test. Your texted me last week to do a lesson and test and I said we have a spot today Saturday 12/1/2025 for you and you agreed to book it in. I only gave you one lesson and your driving was ok but not up to standard. You have a problem with signalling when moving off which is a road law if you don’t. I did tell you must signal. When doing your test you failed to signal when doing a U turn and that’s a road law breach and examiner (doesn’t work for my by the way) told you at the end of the test that your driving was ok but because you did breach a road law and that is a fail. You said you had few lesson with a friend who is not a professional instructor why are you lying here? If you had lessons with a professional instructor why didn’t you use them to book the driving test? Is it because you failed the test with them as well? You need to change your attitude Karla if you want to pass your driving test. We are here to help clients to pass their driving tests when they are ready.
