Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. I got my HR-A through Wrightway 2 years ago and returned recently to upgrade to HR-B. My instructor, Gary, was excellent. Patient, supportive and all his instructions were clear and straight forward. Susan's customer service was excellent. From first contact, arranging my lessons, clear about pricing and the what to expect. Pricing was also very competitive. Excellent trucks and great SOR location. I cannot rate highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Passed my HR first time. I had Garry, who was very knowledgeable, understanding and patient. Would highly recommend these guys from the Admin Staff to the other trainers/assessor, everyone is friendly and welcoming! Would 100% recommend I live NOR and was well worth the travel for this.

Fantastic experience: Absolute FIVE STAR service. From the first contact to the end of the course, the office staff were very helpful and clearly very experienced. They made the process very clear and easy to follow and the course over 2 days allowed opportunity to have a break and relax as let new skills 'sink in'. Dan, my instructor provided clear instructions and opportunity to ask questions as well as mechanical background about vehicle systems. My examiner Dave was clear with instructions before and during the examination and provided fair comments as feedback after the exam. The vehicle was easy to drive and seemed to be very forgiving for students. I highly recommend WRT and will certainly be back when I require a higher licence.

I did my hr open I was nervous with the road ranger box as soon as I got there and start doing my paper work my trainer Dave made the place seem friendly and my nerves went away . Fantastic experience: I booked my MR licence with these guys back in early June 2021 (Before the new financial year and before they moved to their new location) They gave me a booking for the 14th of July and said read a couple of documents that they sent via email. I did as asked and then rocked up early on the morning of my day of reckoning ( a little apprehensive I must say). They even stuck to their original price although the new financial year had ticked over and they had put them up a little. I needn't have worried. Dan (The Trainer) and another Student (Vince) plus myself headed off after a quick cabin drill and briefing of the day ahead. Vince and I took turns behind the wheel and in the rear passenger seat of the companies MR truck, a dual or crew cab Isuzu. Even sharing the trainers time with another student I received all the required knowledge to pass the test at the Kelmscott test centre first time with out fault. A bit long winded of a review but if you are looking to get a truck licence of any kind, the gentle nature of Dan, as an instructor will not let you down. I can now look forward to taking our trip behind the wheel of our Ex Army Merceedes Unimog... legally. Thanks to Dan and all the staff at Wrightway for a great experience. Would recommend you guys (and already have) to anyone.

Fantastic experience: If you don't go to Wrightway, you've gone to the wrong place. Very welcoming and knowledge staff and trainers, focussing on the positives of the student's performance rather than the negative which helped greatly with confidence. If in future I decide to go for another licence I know who I'll be calling.

Negative experience: When you answered the lady at the reception said that although the automatic transmission has not been driven for a long time, I think I can drive, or I am willing to give it a try. The lady looked at you with no expression and said "What driving license do you want to learn" "HR automatic transmission" "OH! WOW!". . . . Then I chose another driving school

Negative experience: Poor experience for me. The instructor was more like a GPS than offering any useful information. The truck was a lethal pos , the booking wasnt made properly and we spent hours at the licensing place wondering if they could squeeze me in. Finally decided they could at 3pm right at peak hour traffic. Needless to say after 8 hours of stress and f#$@ing around i failed the test. Wasted alot of money here, dont make the same mistake!

Fantastic experience: The staff are friendly, the lessons are paced to the drivers ability and the expectations to pass are outlined clearly. I passed my first test and also feel confident to drive at my new level.

Fantastic experience: Wrightway Road Training were simply fantastic. I was a bit anxious before arriving as I didn't know what to expect, in terms of I had never driven a truck before, but that quickly went away after meeting my trainer. The theory is very easy to grasp and the practical side of things isnt too difficult as the trainers explain everything very well and are positive even when you make mistakes. Fantastic experience: Very very good service. I completed the HR licence and assessment over 2 weekends and it was excellently managed and delivered. Best price by far (I called around before going) and the trainers are all very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. No surly unpleasantness. The location is perfect for training too, lots of roundabouts, T-junctions, traffic lights, etc, but also open roads, dual lanes and nearby open highway. So you can practice all conditions of driving and it is sufficiently far enough from the city that there is not a lot of road raging traffic pushing a learner driver about. Overall, great experience, pleasant people and well priced. Cheers!

Negative experience: Dont go here! i dont know how they have such good reviews, it goes beyond me. I have driven trucks for years but had to do the australian drivers license. After the first instructor saw me drive his words were " you're good to go, just do a moc test to see what we look for and you'll be good" So booking the next lesson the owner was accompanying me and not that instructor, i specifically asked him to check my driving as if we were doing a test to see if i would need to work on anything specific. Getting back to the yard i asked him if i would pass and his reply was " its impossible for me to say" Which i found ....... surprising. I asked why and he said he only looked at 3 , yes 3 items on the checklist and if i want him to look at others i will have to book more lessons. Are you actually kidding me!!!! So I went to another drive school and passed without issue. Not only that their receptionist is the grumpiest thing i have ever seen. I only saw her smile when someone brought in a baby.

Special thanks to Mark too for his excellent structured training, making sure to target areas i was unsure of and guiding me through it all...The entire team understood how I was feeling and helped my anxieties through my two day training and test process from the beginning and without their techniques and professionalism I doubt I would have passed my HC test with the ease that I did. Fantastic experience: What a great company this is, made welcome by everyone the second you walk through the door. Went for my HR with Mark as my instructor, great guy,. He was very professional in his approach and his delivery was well structured. I enjoyed my day and was rewarded for my efforts with a pass. Many thanks to Dan also who did my assessment and made me feel comfortable and relaxed while undertaking it. I will return in a year to do sit my road train licence with Wrightway and feel confident that I will pass it with the high level of training they offer. Highly recommended and if you really want to upgrade your licence then this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: The Wrightway admin staff were helpful, easy to communicate with and explained the fees, charges and processes to me clearly. Negative experience: The lady when asked if could print a run down of costing for lessons or courses just looked at me and just said: Just go and look it up on the website! I was like "Ook! Thank you!" Walked out and surely not going there to get my hr license! Rude, rude, rude!

Fantastic experience: The BEST driving school, personally. I got my C, HR and MC licences with them and passed first time with each licence with Wrightway. They have instructors who are very experienced, competent, patient and who know how to come up with remedies to personalise your training. Their vehicles are also very good. They're maintained very well and are immaculate. I thoroughly enjoyed learning to drive with them and would recommend them to anyone. They also make a big deal out of 'paperwork', e.g. fatigue management, which I didn't realise the full impact of it until I started driving for a job; it really did prepare me! Because of the paperwork, the learning environment felt a bit like TAFE as opposed to 'just another driving school', with any available instructor there to assist with any queries I had with the paperwork, just like a TAFE lecturer. As I said before, I'd recommend them to anyone; they're really that good!

Fantastic experience: I had some training with a reputable and busy RTO (registered Training Organization). They had only one truck ( poor condition) of vehicle class I needed. I had to switch to another one. I tried a few RTOs from Department of Transport website and contacted them. Soon I realized that Wrightway has got a big stock of trucks all at very well maintained condition and quite flexible appointments available for students. Once I tried their training services I realized they provide a lot better driving lessons. They have a thorough method, well professional trainers, well educated instructors and staff. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking the quickest and most reliable driving training and licencing.
