The process was seamless and Marnie helped me navigate through the process.A big thanks to Marnie and the amazing team at Ride Smart, I had a wonderful experience. Special thanks to Doug for providing useful tips and sharing his knowledge. Would strongly recommend to anyone who wants to get their Motorcycle license sorted.

Fantastic experience: I completed my R course on Sunday 15/12 with Greg, despite it raining on and off, I had a great time. I felt super comfortable and Greg was super easy going and very welcoming. He gave me great pointers to better my riding on the road, and explained everything in depth. Nothing about the day felt rushed, and I did not feel overwhelmed or panicked at any given time. I highly recommend the team here!

Fantastic experience: Just completed my 2 day pre learner course at Mitchelton. I was in a group of 5 with Jack as our trainer. The course content was delivered progressively from the very basics through to more advanced rider skill training, in particular defensive riding techniques. Jack was an exceptional trainer who is very committed to teaching safe riding practices in a safe, calm and skilled manner. Highly recommend Jack and the team at Ridesmart. Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Greg and Jack across both my Pre Learners and RE courses. They both showed a genuine passion for what they do, and used lots of stories from their own riding experience that kept me engaged through the otherwise dry module content. I got so much more out of the courses than I expected and both instructors gave so many tips to help improve my riding technique. They were also just cool guys who made it feel like you were just hanging out riding bikes at the same time. Great experience

These policies and training should be used in all aspects of licencing not just for motorbikes ! Mike and Adam were great at taking the time to explain everything and made it a fun and relaxed course to take . From Hadassah in Reception who was just awesome in making the enrolment too easy, to Mike (the iron fist in a velvet glove) instructor, who shared his knowledge, showed great patience, maintained his sense of humour and made sure all of his students safely completed the course and were "learner" ready. Fantastic experience: My friend and I went in together for our Pre-Learner course and had such a great time. Both of our instructors from Day 1 (Jack) and Day 2 (Jesse) explained and showcased things in detail. Any time we had difficulty in doing a task they made sure to personally see that we were able to do it by the end of the module. Instructors were very attentive of everyone in the groups and overall very kind, making sure to help us up when dropping the bike. For the content of the course, it helped me wrap my head around manual driving and being confident riding and manoeuvring the bike (from someone with no riding experience). The theories were easy to wrap my brain around and definitely helped on the knowledge exam. Thank you to the team for having us, it was very tiring but such a blast!

Very thorough and informative during the theory segments of the day. Was very patient and explained everything clearly during the riding segments. Both gave off good vibes which helped alot with feeling nervous. Definitely coming back for my REs and recommending to all friends.

Provided suitable gear and easy to learn on bikes, good area to learn (definitely bring a hat to wear and prepare for wet weather if forecast) and great information and practice drills for learners. Jack was an amazing trainer, making the day a very comfortable and enjoyable experience while also being extremely informative. He was super helpful at giving me tips and clear instruction on areas that I needed work on while also making it fun. The course structure was delivered so smoothly that even though it’s a long day, it really didn’t feel like it! Huge kudos to the RideSmart team for a great experience.

He was extremely knowledgeable, being able to answer every question I had, and got me confident on a bike when I hadn't ridden one ever in my life. The rest of the staff were also super nice supplying cold water and were overall all super helpful. Can't really fault them on anything at all.

Every experience has been incredibly positive. The instructors—Doug, Greg, and Jesse—are all exceptionally patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated to teaching safe riding practices. What stands out most is their deep love for motorcycles; each one could talk endlessly about bikes, from technical details to riding culture. With them, you’re learning from seasoned professionals who are genuinely enthusiastic about their craft. An impressive aspect of their teaching is how they draw from their own real-life experiences to demonstrate riding techniques, making the lessons even more practical and relatable. Additionally, Marnie and Hadassah at the reception are the heart of this team, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Both are always upbeat, friendly, and go above and beyond to accommodate requests and assist with scheduling or rescheduling. They truly make the whole experience seamless and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Easy to navigate the website. Reasonably priced. Had Jesse for my pre-leaners day 2, RE and now my unrestricted licenses. Brilliant guy, knows his stuff and is always there to help and give you a hand when you need it.

Jack and Adam have been my instructor for very short moment have been absolutely amazing for provide me confidence and feedback within a very short timeframe before my exam day deadline. When booking your sessions, request for Jack as Trainer 9 and/or Adam as Trainer 6, amazing blokes to vibe with. Marnie has been amazing throughout and to support local businesses like this is definitely well deserved!

Fantastic experience: Ride smart Brookside have an amazing 2 day pre learner course, I undertook day 2 of the course today and feel fully prepared to begin my learner experience. Our instructor Mike was also amazing and brought a fun and capturing aspect to the training, always ensuring to engage with his students to make sure they were understanding each step of the learning process. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Three of us decided to get our L's. Each having various degrees of previous bike riding experience. The course was great. Our instructor "Wazza" was helpful and easy to learn from. The gear supplied was excellent and we had a bit of wet weather that made for an interesting couple of lessons! Reception staff were excellent, we finished our course and by 8 0'clock that night we had our RE Learners licences. DefinItley looking forward to coming back to get to P's!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this motorcycle riding company for gaining your license or having private or group lessons. All the instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. They make everyone feel welcome and are very supportive. Their bikes and gear are all well maintained and clean. They have several locations around Brisbane and their main training centre is a large dedicated area right next door to a large shopping center and there is plenty of parking.

Fantastic experience: 100% recommend! Jack was very engaging and supportive through the entire lesson. The way the days are structured is very good, with a little bit of verbal teaching and then straight on with a little practical training after. I would recommend bringing your own gloves and or helmet tho as sharing with others is obviously not going to be the nicest on the nose. Great 2 days!!!

I had Mike as my instructor who was very patient and supportive with me the whole way and gave very helpful instructions throughout the course (his humour was also gold). Fantastic experience: I did my Q-ride with mike. Awsome instructor and just overall a good man. He geniually cares, about his students. And exsplains things about what we will do for the day and therory very clear. Felt confident with him as a instructor as he is just so chilled. Booking in for the Q-ride was easy and the lovely lady who answered could not of been any more lovely and helpful.

I wanted to get my motorbike R license and English is my second language. i booked for 2 hours lesson Plus warm up session & test. both instructors were very professional ,friendly with clear instructions and they gave me some very good tips to keep in mind. i recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Great course and Pete was a fantastic instructor! Went into it with the intention of just getting a scooter as I was worried about driving a manual. After my first day I was much more confident and decided to get a proper bike now.

I did the 2 day PrepL course and learnt so much :)) Special shout out to Mike and Greg, y'all made it fun yet extremely educational at the same time. I love that you didn't hold back on "what happens if" situations. I feel that knowing the worst is the best way to make sure you know the risks when our riding. I passed my test 30/30 as soon as I got home! Went on my first road ride yesterday and did fairly well (even though I stalled it like 6 times bahaha) Thanks so much! Fantastic experience: Done the Pre-Learners with Jack… Dude puts the fun in fundamentals, making the scripted modules as interesting as possible and adjusting his assistance with the level of the trainees to help push them positively forward. Didn’t feel like I was being spoken down to or I was out of my depths. Was a great 2 day course which flew by and (especially with trainers like Jack) could not recommend this more.
