Fantastic experience: I have chosen instructors Steven & Indra to help me get ready for the test. Both instructors were very patient, professional and supportive. Highly Recommend!

Negative experience: I have recently had some booked lessons with Glen learning manual, As soon as I started driving (15 minutes into the lesson) Glen was very loud and short tempered. This was due to minor inconveniences such as stalling the car and shifting the gear stick too hard. I believe that yelling at your students is not the way that many others including myself learn. I felt that Glen cared more about the gearbox and stick in his car than teaching his paying students I felt that I gained very little from both lessons I’ve had with him and some form of contact from the company for compensation would be appreciated

Fantastic experience: I've been going through this driving school for the last couple of months and have had no complaints. My instructor, Indra, has been endlessly patient, calm, and truly one of the best for any new and unconfident drivers. I had my driving test today, fortunately doing a mock test with Indra before hand, and I'm happy to say that I passed first time. I highly recommend this driving school.

He was always telling me that he was always being harder on me then what the people on the test would ever be, LOL! Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Kevin from RAC School Of Motoring enough for his incredible instruction! As an overseas license holder, I needed to pass the test to get my QLD license, or else I wouldn’t be able to drive anymore. After several lessons with Kevin, I passed my driving test on the 1st attempt today! Kevin is extremely patient and professional, making every lesson enjoyable. He knows the Strathpine testing routes inside and out, which was a huge advantage. I especially appreciated the mock test he conducted before my actual test. Fantastic experience: Kevin was fantastic in helping my daughter get her licence. We started with a few lessons then took over the teaching as parents. A few months before her test we called Kevin and booked in a few lessons and test prep. We organised see the test booking through him and used his car for the test. He was fantastic, calm and professional and my daughter passed her test the first time with flying colours. Thanks Kevin, we will be calling you again when our next kid gets their learners!

Negative experience: Had 2 lessons with Glen and they were terrible. I’m an L plater who has finished my hours in an auto. However I decided to do manual lessons in order to get my manual license. Glen was manipulative and angry, he would yell and tell me to do a thousand different things when I was just trying to learn how to drive a manual. It was as if he expected perfection. Personally I do not learn by being yelled at, this would make me lose focus and drive even worse. I am annoyed as I paid decent money and felt I did not gain anything in return. I hope Glen can learn how to actually teach rather then just yell at his students. I would like to add that the issue was resolved immediately, they where very professional and gave me an immediate refund.

Fantastic experience: I could not be happier with the lessons I received from Noel at RAC! At age 28 I thought that I would never develop the confidence and skills to drive. I had also had a negative experience with a driving school in the past. But Noel made learning manual easy and fun. He also took the time to explain to me in detail any difficult concept I was having a hard time getting my head around. I was excited to jump in the car with him any time we had a booking and each lesson was a blast. I got my license thanks to Noel's experience and skill. Cheers mate, you're a gem!

Fantastic experience: I won’t say the best instructor wud prefer THE ONLY TRAINER and way to your DL success. Our life is moving fast and our world depends mostly around driving, thought of failing & retest . I am an experienced driver with lots of skills but whn it came to Australian driving trust me just forget about wht u know n hw much confident you are: here Kevin plays an crucial role : his sharp mind is the driving force behind my success: his assessment, manges various aspects to ensure victory on the Driving test day : he judges you and will take you to the exact routes where you might be taken by the test instructor. I was nervous bit anxious under the radar as driving license is very important for me to get going in daily life and plus financial pressure as it’s hard to manage driving license fees if I failed! But trust me He extracts the best performance from me in his training sessions And turning my fortune . Yes initially his dates were not easily available but I think waiting for him to start my training was the best decision! Also he is very well known in the department for his polite n humbleness. So get in ur car get Kevin onto the grid & stay sharp. On driving test day you are not the priority and nothing will be made easy : your success will only be driven by how effective you can be between the priorities. Being effective really really requires you to understand all of the context, the environment, the people on road, the changes that can be made on road and knock on consequences of those effects, Being right is easy because you always know what to do but being effective can seem confusing, doubtful, but it’s where Kevin make and bring real change Thanks with gratitude Kevin for all your support guidance as u know he badly I needed my Dl. Fantastic experience: Would strongly recommend Kevin from RAC. I cleared my driving test in first attempt and this is all because of Kevin’s (my RAC instructor) teachings. I was particularly a rusty driver having not drove for more than 4 years . Kevin started instructed me a month and a half ago and since very beginning, was extremely patient and at the same time made sure he made me understand my mistakes. Kevin was aware that I needed extra lessons and hence would try to accommodate me whenever he got some cancellations.

Fantastic experience: I'm 40 years old and only got 20hrs Driving experience on the right side of the road so I needed to empty my cup and start fresh. RACSOM had the most reputable ratings and decided to go with them. Kevin was my instructor. He was very professional and was always at point. I had a blast learning for Kevin and the way he explains his lessons are very clear and it feels like every session is a new learning experience. Thank you Kevin for being instrumental in my driving journey and Thank you RACSOM for introducing me to Kevin. I got my P's on my first try imagine that!

Fantastic experience: I’m leaving this review because I wanted to thank Kevin who I have only done one lesson with. Kevin was so thorough and taught me so much in the hour and now I want to book in more lessons with him. I really appreciated his honestly to show me and tell me all the things I needed to know so I can pass my driving test. I previously did a 10 hour pack with a driving school which I didn’t learn much from and looking back I actually wish I chose Kevin instead to be my instructor so I could’ve gotten the most out of every driving lesson. Fantastic experience: My instructor Mr Kevin was a very good and patient teacher, with about 4 lessons with him, I passed my driving test at first attempt. Am very happy

Negative experience: I had one lesson with Glen at RAC and I informed him that my exam is in 2 weeks. After the lesson he advised me that I should cancel my exam and that I needed to do another 6 months with minimum 1 lesson per week. I have 10 years experience driving auto so I was not convinced. Long story short, I found another instructor who told me I was ready to do the exam on the spot. I passed with not a single error. The main issue for me was the constant push for more lessons even to the point of trying to startle a confident driver by shouting and yelling. Luckily I’ve been driving for a long time so it did not bother me but I can imagine a learner driver would be nervous and stressed when shouted at. My advice for any learner looking to book a manual lesson at RAC is to make sure you book an instructor with the best reviews on Google and avoid the ones with bad reviews.

Fantastic experience: Kevin is a fantastic teacher. Very knowledgeable and was able to convey concepts very clearly. I liked the teaching style ie more safety orientated and more focused on the driver independence. Unfortunately, going forward we will be taking lesson using a manual vehicle otherwise we would be back. Thank-you.
