Fantastic experience: Guys, I did it!! I finally got my license thanks to no yelling. Means so much to me. I’ll definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Terrible service. Their instructors either arrive 30 minutes (or more) late, or they cancel 10 minutes after the scheduled time, and no one—absolutely no one—does anything to fix it. The worst part is that you book an exam, but their instructors don’t show up. Someone should shut down this clown show of a "school."

Positive experience: I had a lot of lessons with No Yelling. In total I had 4 instructors. Based on my experience, if you booked lessons with No Yelling, I suggest you to choose LEE as your instructor. I wish that I got Lee as my instructor from the beginning so I don't need to bought that many lessons from No Yelling. I'll give Lee 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic experience: My lessons at No Yelling were with Edward Perez. I took my driving test at Greenslopes and passed on the first try. Eddie was a great instructor, always gave clear explanations even for small pieces of advice (why gripping the wheel correctly is important, etc.), and was always calm and encouraging. Thanks Eddie! :)

Fantastic experience: My grandma got me a voucher and honestly was the best thing for me. I wanted to thank my instructor and the whole team for making this experience everything I needed and more. Thank you No Yelling!!!

Positive experience: If you are experiencing any kind of mental health illness that could impact your ability of learning to drive, please look for places that specialize in teaching people with disabilities. As I did not know there were places that specialized in teaching people with disabilities out there at the time I booked the lessons with No yelling and no one in no yelling suggested i should look for other places. Resulting in disassociation during the lesson. which made the instructor start raising voices and it made my dissociation worse (made more mistakes and couldn't follow the instructions) I have had traumatic experiences which mostly were male yelling at me. I was not feeling mentally well when in the the lesson. Ended up tearing and the end due to having trauma response. The instructor didn't show any sympathy/empathy but simply thought it was my "fear". It would be a lot easier if it was just "fear". Asking for a refund for the unused sessions was no drama. Even if you mentioned in the note section that you have issues that might impact your driving, doesn't mean they have patience and know how to manage it.

Fantastic experience: Lee was an awesome instructor. I hadn’t driven in a long time and was very nervous on the road but with Lee’s help I became confident and passed my test at Greenslopes first try. I couldn’t recommend someone more.

Fantastic experience: Edward Perez is a fantastic instructor! When I first started driving I was absolutely terrified, after learning with Eddie I feel much more levelheaded and make better decisions on the road. He’s very easy to talk to and very understanding. And he helped me pass my driving test on the first go!

Fantastic experience: Lee has been an amazing driving instructor for both my daughters. One who was comfortable to learn how to drive and the other who was very anxious. He has been a wonderful support for them and taught them how to be competent and confident drivers. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Did my lesson with Nikko, he is very friendly and helpful. He explained the regulation, test guidance, and road rules so it is easy to understand. Car is good and comfortable as well. Did the test in Toowong with one attempt only.

Negative experience: Worst communication between instructors and clients. Impossible to receive customer support. I was humiliated by my driving instructor and then ghosted. I did not receive a full refund and I didn’t learn anything. GO ANYWHERE ELSE

Negative experience: My instructor FORGOT to turn up to our first lesson. I called Rosemarie 15 minutes after our agreed meet up time and she hung up on me. I called her again to ask where she was and she said she forgot and that she'll "come now". I told her not to bother.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended this driving school and my instructor, Lee. I had lessons with Lee for several months, and passed my driving test at Greenslopes on my first attempt. I am an adult learner (old enough to move directly from Ls to P2s). I've begun driving later both due to lifestyle needs and opportunities, and due to anxiety and lack of confidence about driving. I found Lee to be a fantastic instructor - calm, level-headed and knowledgeable. I found he built up my abilities in a way where I didn't only know what I had to do, but why it was done that way. Lee also put a big emphasis on establishing good driving habits. He says he "tells people off", which is a bit true, but I've never felt berated and I appreciate that he doesn't let the little things slip when it comes to something that can be as dangerous as driving. I am of course thrilled to have passed my test, but I'm more thrilled that I feel confident and comfortable when driving - something I didn't really expect to happen! Overall, very happy with my experience with Lee and No Yelling Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I was incredibly nervous and had zero driving experience when I started my lessons with Lee. I wasn’t sure that I would ever be able to do this, but he was so supportive and a great instructor. I passed my test on the first go and went from unsure and anxious to calm and confident. Couldn’t not recommend Lee enough!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Lee from No Yelling. Lee was my instructor for a few months before I passed my auto test on the first go. He gave clear and helpful instructions and he was calm, kind and supportive throughout the entire process. His Toyota Corolla hybrid was a pleasure to drive and a great car to learn in.

Fantastic experience: I just got my manual licence at Greenslopes after many lessons with Ari, and I highly recommend both him as an instructor and No Yelling as a school. The website was easy to navigate and there were no issues with bookings or money. Ari was incredibly patient and flexible - catered to my skill level from barely having sat behind the wheel to being test-ready, and was willing to change routes so we'd drive to my uni just to fit in with my schedule. He made sure I was confident driving around potential testing routes from very early on, and I actually went the same route we'd done many times before on my test, which I'm sure contributed to me passing.

Fantastic experience: I am converting my overseas driving license to a QLD one. I had some lessons with Lee from No Yelling. I managed to pass the first driving practice exam in Greenslope with 1 error. If you are trying to convert your driving license to a QLD one and you are not sure whether you can pass the driving test or not, getting some lessons with Lee is a good idea.

Fantastic experience: I took lessons with Lee who was incredibly patient and down-to-earth. He's a stickler for safety which is exactly what you need! Thanks to Lee I passed my practical test the first time at Greenslopes TMR. Cannot recommend him highly enough!

Fantastic experience: I did my driving lessons with Muhammad and he's got to be one of the most genuine nice guys out there, he makes all the manueveres and all that simple. He also helped me pass my driving test first time which is pretty sick. If you do the no yelling driving lessons ask for Muhammad.

Fantastic experience: I wasn’t expecting to pass my driving test on the first go but Edward made it possible! From an absolute anxious driver that has not driven for the past 10 years, he taught me how to drive safely and build up my confidence in getting behind the wheels again. I am grateful to have met Edward and highly recommend him to any drivers out there who are anxious, or if you just want to get your test out of the way on your first try! :D

Fantastic experience: Have had an amazing experience with this driving school. It feels like the instructors have infinite patience, and thanks to their advice I was able to iron out any bad habits I’ve let slip in over the years and finally renewed my license! They made it very straightforward for me to adapt to the new updated systems on the road. I would recommend No Yelling Driving School to everybody; like me, coming from many years in another driving environment or just searching for an efficient and kind approach to learning the rules of the road. I owe my license to them. If they also offered motorbike lessons, for sure this is where I would go again - apparently they’re looking into it. Thanks a million!!!

Positive experience: Thank you so much Adam Ali! I passed the P exam on my first attempt at Toowong. I didn't practice around the area until 1 hour before the exam with Ali, in a lesson. I used his car for the exam. Really helped me. Only problem was pricing but overall so good. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: I had Muhammad as my instructor and I could not thank him enough for all his guidance, he made driving less daunting for me. He was very patient and pays great attention to details. His family were also so welcoming and kind which was such a relieve to my stressful test day. Thank you all again! :)

Fantastic experience: Edward is AMAZING! Had a driving lesson right before my test this morning over in Ipswich. Edward recapped with me everything I needed to know before my test, he was relaxed, went over my strengths and weaknesses and made sure I felt confident and we'll no surprises I PASSED first go. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of having Susan (Sue) as my driving instructor. I have had multiple other driving instructors previously and have never come across a driver instructor who is so passionate about their teaching and who cares so much for her students like Sue. As i did not have many options of people to supervise my driving, i got to do many lessons with Sue and i would like to say she made me a confident driver and in my opinion a good and safe driver. I finally got my license after passing my test in Greenslopes and I have to say a big thank you to Sue for all her help!!!

Fantastic experience: What a beautiful experience with Toni! With history of multiple failed attempts, I feared that I would never get my license, until I met Toni. She really set me up for success by throughly explaining road rules, manoeuvre and general tips during every opportunity on the road, in the most constructive and supportive way. She helped me become more observant and calm on the road. Importantly, we chatted and built rapport. It was always a pleasure to spend time with her. And that helped me succeed! She continuously reiterated the importance of driving outside the sessions not only to pass the test but to help me become a better driver. Fantastic experience: We have used No Yelling with all three children and have been happy with the service they provide. Most recently, Edward from Brisbane, was my child's driving instructor and she passed on the first try.

Fantastic experience: I had to transfer my international license to QLD drivers license and took couple of lessons prior to the practical test. My instructor Mr. Lee Hatcliff did a wonderful job with the whole process. He is super friendly, patient, and always explains things in ways that are clear and easily understandable. The techniques and theoretical knowledge he shared helped me greatly to become a better driver. Thanks to Lee as I passed on my first attempt at Greenslopes today. Therefore I would highly recommend NYDS and specifically Lee to anyone who is in the process of getting drivers license.

Fantastic experience: Had driving lessons with Lee over a handful of weeks and passed the test on the first try at Greenslopes. Lee's calm demeanor is reassuring but he is stern when necessary and is great at spotting bad behaviours early on so that they can be corrected before they become habit. His lessons are well thought out and allow students to gain a broad set of experiences to help their learning.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE - Booked a 1 hour lesson and driving test 4 weeks in advance of my test date, heard nothing at all from anyone No Yelling. Contacted them 5 days from my test date asking why I heard nothing and was only then told that all their instructors were busy and that I would be refunded. Why was I not contacted sooner and told this? What would have happened if I did not get in touch with them to check after hearing nothing, kept my money and let me test date lapse losing out on that money too? Unacceptable practise.

Fantastic experience: I drove with Lee as my instructor, after moving from interstate I struggled with confidence on the roads and the difference in road rules. Lee was extremely patient and took time to teach and go over rules and gave me some great tips with manoeuvres, I passed my test first try. Thank you Lee!

Negative experience: When I purchased my lesson, I made sure to note that I'm an anxious person that has never driven a car before, and that I was looking for someone to show me the basics of how a car works and feels. Once I started my lesson, it became apparent that none of this was communicated to my instructor. The whole experience was extremely uncomfortable, and I could tell they were getting increasingly more frustrated with me as the hour dragged on. Sure, there was no yelling, but I certainly didn't feel relaxed and supported. I also was having things explained to me that I needed to know in order to pass the written test like I'd never learned them. although it certainly wasn't all the instructor's fault, I can't trust they'd actually give me an instructor that would fit well with me, so I won't be booking again.

Negative experience: Really unhappy with the service and the responses from their team. If you're looking at driving with this school, be aware they do not pick up their phones and all communication will be via email. 1st issue is I was not assigned a driver for 3 days after handing over $220 and I had to contact them to correct the situation 2nd issue is my instructor showed up on time and seemed friendly enough but we use an electric vehicle. No key ignition, no handbrake, runs almost silent. I'm not sure about the learner drivers in your life but I certainly wouldn't be putting a learning in an electric vehicle which doesn't even use a handbrake - how am I learning to drive a practical car with this sort of thing? 3rd issue. My new instructor was not available for a week based on my time availability and he was sub-contracted out by no yelling. I got an invoice from his driving school with payment details ( though to his credit he let me know it didn't need to be paid ). When I pay for "no yelling driving instructors" I expect no yelling to be the one showing up, not some other school. Requesting a refund for the remaining two lessons I have. whole experience has been awful.

Thanks to him I didn’t do a single mistake during the actual test. Therefore I would recommend NYDS and specifically Richard to anyone who is in the process of getting drivers license. Keep up the good work NYDS.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend enough. I am 30+ years and (was) an incredibly anxious driver. In 3 months Muhammad took me from a nervous wreck to actually really enjoying driving, AND PASSING MY TEST ON FIRST GO! He was sweet, friendly, kind, an excellent teacher and all round good guy. Not having my licence has been a massive issue for me forever and I'm so happy I went with No Yelling Driving School to get this done, and extra special thanks to Muhammed!

Fantastic experience: A few days ago I passed my driving test on my first go. After many years of having limited support in my personal life with driving, this was a huge achievement for me and I couldn’t have done it without Toni. Toni has been so accomodating, patient and supportive as a teacher and I couldn’t recommend her enough. I’ll miss our drives together as she is not only a wonderful teacher but also a wonderful person!

Edward Perez my driving teacher was so much fun and was such an amazing teacher that not only did I learn to drive but also passed my test with no mistakes and a good drive review written on my test. Fantastic experience: I had quite a few lessons with Ari and throughout my time with him he has been outstanding with me. Very patient, supportive and thorough with his teaching instruction. I passed my manual test after spending a month with him and I got to say that Ari's teaching along with No Yelling driving school's service has been amazing.

Fantastic experience: Great place to learn how to drive. I've been to a few different driving schools and found the teaching style at no yelling to work the best for me. George taught me how to drive and was calm, supportive and helpful throughout all our lessons. Fantastic experience: My experience with no yelling driving school was awesome. With no prior driving experience, my instructor Muhammed helped me a lot in improving my driving skills to professional level by teaching even the nuances sincerely. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of learning how to drive under my amazing driving instructor Toni. She was always super helpful, patient and kind throughout the whole journey. Toni taught me all the techniques and tricks to safe driving for my automatic license and always made me feel comfortable driving her vehicle. :) Toni was always super encouraging and never stopped believing in me, even when I failed my test a few times due to my own stress. I cannot thank her enough for all the help she gave me, and I highly recommend booking her services. 10/10 :D

Fantastic experience: I was looking to upgrade my licence from automatic to manual and took two lessons with George in preparation for my test at Logan. George provided very useful insights and advice on what examiners would be looking for during the test. He also took the time to guide me carefully through all the possible manoeuvres that could be tested, providing highly useful tips and tricks along the way that made it easy to learn and practice them in my own time. Over the course of two lessons, George was able to cover a significant portion of the examination area, giving me the best chance to gain familiarity with the test environment and it's key characteristics and features. Thanks to George I was able to pass on my first attempt. I would highly recommend George for anyone looking to start driving manual or hone their manual driving skills in preparation for the practical driving test.

His car was always very clean, when I found it hard to understand he would come up with different ways to teach me so I could understand. Fantastic experience: I had weekly driving lessons with Lee Hatcliff leading up to my manual driving test, and felt very well prepared—in fact, I ended up passing with no errors! Lee was super knowledgeable and an excellent instructor, and was both patient with my driving anxiety as an adult learner and honest about where I needed to improve. Communication with Lee and No Yelling was prompt and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I really can't recommend Lee enough for driving lessons in Brisbane. He had his work cut out with me, I was a very anxious and nervous driver. However through Lee's guidance I passed my test (manual) first time today! He has a great way of teaching and not over complicating things. Fantastic experience: I had Edward as my driving instructor in Brisbane. I only needed a couple of sessions with Edward before my actual test and I passed on my very first attempt at Logan. Edward was patient, kind, clear and concise, very encouraging, had great attention to detail and an absolutely fantastic instructor. He paid a lot of attention to the way I was driving and gave me feedback throughout the lessons. I cannot recommend him enough- I had a good laugh with him during the session and would never feel nervous to drive with him. Thank you so much Edward! I will be recommending you to all my friends and family members.

Fantastic experience: I did my manual lessons with Lee in Brisbane. I started right from the beginning and managed to pass first time with his guidance. He is very calm and personable and has some great methods of teaching how to drive. I can't imagine he gets too many people fail their test under his guidance. Thanks Lee!

Fantastic experience: I took all my lessons with Nathan. I had never driven a car before and he made me feel comfortable and safe, he took me from 0 experience to passing my test first time. I am happy I got to spend this journey with him and grateful we got paired. He is very knowledgeable and friendly, and his car is always clean and tidy. Thank you sm for everything. Would recommend anyone to go have a lesson with him.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend No Yelling to anyone who is interested. It was very easy to organise lessons and my eventual test. I was fortunate enough to have Lee as my instructor. Through him and No Yelling Driving School, my confidence and skills were boosted tremendously. Lee explained techniques and skills very clearly and was always supportive and kind. His guidance enabled me to easily pass my driving test. 10/10 :)

Fantastic experience: The ease with which I was able to get in touch with an instructor and organise lessons was very convenient. I had some automatic lessons with Ashley in Brisbane and he was fantastic. Very patient, understanding, and clear in his instructions and especially explaining maneouvres with diagrams. Awesome instructor, great service. Just recently I decided to go for my manual license and I had Ari (Brisbane) and he was fantastic also. With no previous experience he started me off slowly and his calm demeanour certainly rubbed off on me and I got the hang of driving a manual very quickly along with a lot of useful driving tips thanks to him.

Fantastic experience: Ashley in Brisbane was a fantastic instructor. I have been too nervous to get my licence for 13 years and Ash was the only one to get me over the line! He was calm, patient and very understanding. Because of Ash I managed to get a perfect score on my test. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to get their licence.

Fantastic experience: I had Lee as an instructor. He was a great instructor to have sitting next to me. He was very knowledgeable on all the maneuvers and any weird questions I had regarding road rules and what to do in situations. On top of this he was always super calm throughout every session. I couldn't recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: Nathan from No Yelling in Brisbane is an actual angel! He helped me to become a safe and confident driver in roughly 5-6 lessons. I went for my test without him there on the day as he wasn't able to make it and despite this I still passed on my first go. He is the confidence booster everyone needs on the road and also the nicest human being!!!

Fantastic experience: Had Lee as my instructor. He was always super calm and reassuring during my lessons and before my test! Can't recommend him enough, he always had a relaxed temperament and was very clear when explaining manoeuvres, techniques and things to improve on. He also had tons of advice for unusual situations that can occur on the road and how to correctly manage them and your emotions. Overall, could not have had a better instructor to guide me through this process. ⭐10/10⭐

Fantastic experience: Had one of the best experiences one can get from a driving school! I had Toni and I couldn’t have been more thankful to have had her as my instructor! What I appreciated more than anything, is how she builds up your driving confidence, and more importantly she genuinely is honest, she will not sugar coat things just to make you happy, but will do everything possible to get you successful! Toni is a gem and just one of the nicest instructors I’ve ever met! My daughter will be driving in 2 years and trust me no one other than Toni will be her instructor, and I’ll be recommending Toni to my friends and extended family for sure! Thanks Toni and No Yelling....

Fantastic experience: I took lessons with Zahir and found him to be very friendly and easygoing. I had failed a number of practical driving tests before but passed the first one I did after his lessons. Also did a couple of lessons with Isaac and thought he was very supportive as well. Overall had an excellent experience with No Yelling and would strongly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this driving school as I have had a great experience with my driving instructor Carl. I received my P1 licence last week and I feel as though I use his useful advice and tips all the time. He was always knowledgable, polite and easy to have some conversation and inside jokes with. He is always trying to improve his students experience with knowing time waits for log books and exams, drawing diagrams on his phone and explaining concepts in many different ways. He always challenged me but never pressured me. Having Carl as an instructor from 2016-2019 was a very good investment in my driving and I feel a lot safer on the road because of him.

Fantastic experience: After having several instructors i finally found Ashley! He is an extremely calm instructor that teaches you without feeling hesitated or nervous. Ashley boosted my confidence making me feel extremely comfortable driving on the road. He is a great instructor who’s teaching methods are very easy to understand. I definitely wouldn’t be able to pass my test on the first go if it weren’t for him! Definitely recommend Ashely!

Fantastic experience: Ashley was a great driving instructor - I got my P’s on my first try and I couldn’t have done it without him. His driving teaching is very clear, he is friendly and helps build road confidence. I learnt quickly and to be a very safe driver. I would highly recommend him!

My instructor Carl created a calm and trusting environment that allowed me to feel at ease even if I made silly mistakes. His explanations of road rules and manoeuvres are thorough but easy to understand. Bonus was all interesting chats we had as well :))

Fantastic experience: I had Ashley as my driving instructor. He was very understanding, calm and very patient. After doing 90+ hours with my parents, I did 3 lessons with Ashley and passed my test! He reassured me and made me feel confident. Once I passed he was just as happy as I was. Will highly recommend him in the future.
