Fantastic experience: Absolute brilliance. Onroad driving edu provided impeccable service. I did few lessons and took their test package which includes pickup, drop off and they'll provide their cars for the test which is really convenient to drive and pass the test in the first attempt. I got my full driver license today thanks to Onroad. P.S. St.Marys has a good pass rate imo. Test route is not complex. The test officer was friendly and not intimidating.

Fantastic experience: I chose Onroad for their easy online booking system. But the best part was the learning experience. My instructor, Jonathan You, was exceptional: thorough, knowledgeable, professional and very focused on safe driving. I started practicing with Jonathan after a very long break in driving in a different country, practically from scratch, and mostly had a chance to practice with him only (didn’t have much opportunity to practice with own car). Somehow I managed to pass the driving test from the first attempt. I’m extremely grateful to him for giving me the fundamentals necessary to build my driving skills upon and pass the test. But most importantly, I’m grateful to Jonathan for giving me the confidence to drive with my children onboard - thanks to the safe driving habits he helped me develop. I can’t recommend him more!

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive with Marta Pedroso from Onroad was the best choice I could have made! Marta is incredible at what she does, and it really shows. Not only was I able to practice driving at different times of day with varying levels of traffic and weather conditions (e.g., school hours, rush hour, night driving, country roads, flooding roads in thunderstorms!) but Marta also did several practice tests with me to completely simulate test conditions. She gave me fantastic, tailored feedback (e.g., reliable markers to guide me with spacing + positioning the wheel), was incredibly patient with me (even when I was frustrated with / hard on myself!), and allowed for extra practice on manoeuvres that I found particularly challenging. When it came time for the test, not only did she ensure that I was confident with the intricacies of the car I'd be driving, but she also made time for working through any nerves/anxiety before, dealing with any disappointment afterwards, and was overall an incredibly kind and empathetic support system to have. After our last lesson, Marta also gave me excellent advice about how to go about purchasing a car (pricing, models, brands, maintenance). It truly made all the difference, learning to drive with someone as experienced as Marta - she is an amazing instructor and friend! <3

Positive experience: have done SDC with onroad driving school. Had Earl for 3hr theory session which was really beyond my expectation. I would highly recommend attending this course. However,my instructor for practical session did not meet upto any professional standard..i was upto 60 hrs + in my logbook before attending this class and from a different suburb. Instructor kept commenting about my current instructor how he/ she did not do a good job. Instructor kept arguing and kept telling how experienced he is and he has a variety of experience instead of focusing on teaching and carried on criticizing my mistakes which i have acknowledged multiple times and needed a bit of prompting into that. Not student friendly in my experience. I had a traumatic experiences from that day. In the end, i filled up the review section which he was also having a look at!

As an older student who has struggled with a fear of driving it has always been challenging for me to gain an understanding of the fundamentals of road safety and learn good driving technique. This all changed when I started learning with Marta. Marta's lessons equipped me with a solid knowledge of road safety, and taught me invaluable driving skills which are going to help me for the rest of my life. I have learnt with other driving instructors in the past where I've felt my money and time was being wasted. In comparison, from the very beginning of my first lesson with Marta I felt I was learning important things - not a moment was spared. Her lessons are worth every cent! Marta is a pleasure to learn from, always showing up with a positive, can-do attitude. She is also very attentive to an individual student's needs, always listening to my concerns and going out of her way to help me feel comfortable and relaxed. Fantastic experience: I'm leaving my 5 stars purely for Marta Pedroso. If you are looking for a female driving instructor in Sydney, I strongly urge you to choose Marta. There is no one better. I wish I could thank Marta a million times over. Not only did she help me pass my Ps test first go, she helped me gain a lot of self-confidence. I was late getting my learner license and very anxious in the beginning, but Marta was patient with me the whole way through and helped me overcome it. Most importantly, Marta taught me to be a safer driver. I foolishly tried a different OnRoad instructor for one or two lessons, and I was able to recognise that what this person was teaching me was actually unsafe and incorrect. I wish more instructors were like Marta - Australian roads would be far safer for all of us. Some OnRoad instructors will eat in the car and play on their phone while they're supposed to be teaching you, others will take you out onto a busy road before even teaching you the basics of steering. Marta, on the other hand, is patient, kind and always professional. Road safety and teaching you to be the safest possible driver is always her top priority. Marta explains things clearly and builds up your basic skills and confidence before taking you out onto busier roads. Marta will run you through manoeuvres as many times as you need to get them right, and she will teach you the safest ways to do them. Marta never messed me around with bookings, never cancelled on me unexpectedly and was never late to a lesson - in fact she was often early. Marta always makes you feel at ease when you're behind the wheel. Her car is top of the range, always clean and a pleasure to drive. There's so much more I could say, but I'll just settle with: thank you, Marta. For everything. I will really miss our lessons and conversations!

He care for his client to be perfect in their driving and gives clear instruction while driving. He is punctual with his time and aim for perfection with his students/ clients to learn driving. Negative experience: New drivers - Trust the negative reviews too. I was a new driver, searched in Google the best and affordable driving. Onroad came on top, cool. I searched google reviews in my area (Artarmon, Chatswood, Brookvale) - Chris Gardiner had pouring 5 star reviews and amazing feedback. So, I booked him straight away, bought 10 vouchers. Btw, I do recommend Onroad to anyone, lovely customer service too. The most affordable driving school around, very professional. Just don't book Chris for God's sake. Here is how a lesson with Chris will look like. And this is the same experience my two friends had, that they had to jump ship to another instructor right away. He is on time, professional, great, ok. 15minutes, he will drive you to the safe driving location - sure. That's alright. From my place in Artarmon, we drove to Longueville. 15-20 minutes you will be parked and he will talk and give the verbal lessons, he would want you to literally write it down, in a paper, in your phone. You get 15-20minutes driving, ease in easy smooth. You are not allowed to hit the accelerator, just let the automatic car ease in. You get shout on and you get told off. Then, 15minutes he drives you back. There goes your $65 for first hour. I thought, fine. 1st lesson. After 7 lessons, it's the same thing. I did book a 2-hour session, hoping we'll cover more, but he had to do a 5-minute bladder break, sure. another 5-minute tea time, yep he pulled out his thermos cup and had tea in his car while reading news in his ipad while he asked me stretch a bit. He gave me 'homeworks' to memorise and recite back at him. We did few parking in a servo parking lot, pretty empty. And he said he needs to buy something in the servo so they don't get upset as he always use their space for parking lessons. He went in, a good 5 minutes or more, bought bread or milk or something, had a good chat with the cashier. He would raise his voice and all I heard is 'how is this hard?', 'do you wanna crash my car?'. He would tell stories about how he would teach young boys to drive and drop them back in their houses mid-lessons if they are not listening to him. Because he said, his diary is always fully booked, he doesn't need more students, as he always get booked anyway. I really felt I was a stupid beginner. He raises his voice and continuously repeat the same words to me, very condescending like talking to a stupid 5 year old, instead of boosting your student's confidence for them to learn. I dreaded our lessons. I wish it could be finished soon enough. I hated driving. I booked lessons after lessons because I thought it would get better (yep, my bad). On my 6th or 7th last lesson, I ahd to cut it short, 30mins early. I just had enough and I asked him to drop me home now. I took a break. And since I still have 3 more credits with Onroad, I pick another instructor, Simon Ambrosoli. WHAT A NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. In that same hour with Simon, first session with him, I was driving in traffic! Simon was freaking a good, a mentor! Legit. I enjoyed driving, I got excited every session. I looked forward to it. I was driving to city with Simon in 3rd session, in the freaking city at Townhall. I was driving 80kph on a heavy rain up north in a month, changing lanes and all. Proud to say, my reverse parallel parking is smooth as! Nailed it my test. I was not a bad stupid driver after all. :-D

Fantastic experience: Did a 20 hour lesson with a different driving school before and failed on my first driving test so decided to reach out to Vince Dilucci from Onroad Driving for a change. Honestly, this was one of the best decisions I've made as Vince's teaching style is very well thought out and he really gives you great tips and advice that ensures you to become a safe driver above all else. Got a 5 hour package + 1 hour intro lesson with Vince and passed on my second driving test. Realised that before I was too dependent on the instructions of my driving instructor but with Vince I've learned to make well judged driving decisions independently which made a huge difference. Personally 100% recommend Vince to anyone who wants to become a safe driver.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Simon any day! He is very professional. Every sessions and invested time were worth it. He was not my first instructor of choice based on Google reviews with Onroad, and I am very happy I switched to him after an unpleasant experience with the prior. He made driving very easy and enjoyable. Something I always look forward in my week and I get excited once I start driving and didn't even realise the time flies by. He is very easy to get along with. He is a very good mentor. And he knows how to read the room. Onroad, please value Simon. His skills to keep a good environment while instructing are very impressive, and he caters to different personalities, anxiety, culture, attitude and experience. He adapts very well! He always made me feel - whenever I make silly mistakes - that it is part of learning and that is what he was there for. I made a friend in a few sessions. He gave me mental and emotional support in every session. And he was the best person to be with during my the test. He calmed me, cheered and encouraged me. He was the proudest in the center when I got the 'congratulations' in the room. He gave me amazing tips in passing the test. He suggested the best route to take, and we practiced around that area few times. It takes a good instructor to teach someone to drive all the driving technicalities and road rules, but Simon topped that with his amazing people skills and ability to connect and encourage new drivers that anyone can learn. Thank you Simon. I will recommend you to anyone I know in a heartbeat. Thank you Onroad.

Fantastic experience: Con is a fantastic instructor - made me comfortable and confident in driving. He is very knowledgeble and I am lucky that I found him through Onroad Driving Education. Highly Highly recommend for those who are looking for a driving instructor. I cannot thank enough him to pass the driving test :)
