Fantastic experience: Raj is a really great instructor and very motivating even when you’re in times of doubt. Having done 10+ lessons with him I was able to develop skills that taught me to be a safe driver and to pass the driving test on the first try. Without the constant reassurance and his friendly nature during lessons the learning process would have been a lot more difficult. Fantastic experience: Raj is an absolute legend not just he’s an amazing instructor but also he has got immense knowledge related driving and Rsms. I had some technical issues related to driving conditions on my license . I approached Service NSW before contacting Raj. They told me to sit the test again. Upon contacting RAJ, he guided me in detail and told me that I don’t need the driving test as per the regulations of service Nsw. When I went again with the right information it turned out to be true and my problem got resolved :) A BIG BIG thank you to RAJ for his valuable advices, time and effort. Fantastic experience: Raj is an excellent driving instructor. After having only 6 lessons with him and 3 months of overall driving experience in my life (driving mostly on weekends) I passed my driving test in Castle Hill with 100% result first go. Raj always provides constructive feedback and immediately shows your mistakes and explains the best way to fix them. His mock driving test was very helpful and after mock test he explained all my errors in details. Having Raj on my test day and 1 hour warm up before my test was very valuable. I did few mistakes during warm up but I had 0 errors on my real test. Raj teaches you safe driving skills which are not just for test but which are also very useful when you continue driving after test. I highly recommend Raj as the best possible instructor to prepare for driving test in Castle Hill.

Fantastic experience: I was referred by friends to Raj and Licence Plus and got my P's in one go (99% score) thanks to his training. I had zero driving experience when I started my lessons and Raj helped me build the skills, not just to pass the driving tests, but to be a safe driver for life. I like that he analyses what your weak points are and help you overcome them. He teaches you how to work smart on the road so that you don't get unnecessarily flustered (especially being a new driver!). Raj would encourage you to speak up and tell him what your challenges are and that, along with his demos, made the learning easier. He would have you drive on different road conditions (steep roads, sharp curves, city driving, wet weather, highways) and, for me, that helped develop my confidence as a new driver. Fantastic experience: Raj is nothing short of an amazing driving instructor. My son passed his driving test on his first attempt with flying colours. This is indeed a cause for celebration. However, what has been the most incredible part of this journey is that Raj taught my son the true skill of driving safely. Raj has a passion for making the roads a safer place for young people and he does this by building trust with his students. He knows when to calm a nervous driver, challenge a student who is ready for more advanced skills, and embed safe and considered driving at all times. Raj became a mentor for my son and our friend. As a parent, Raj was always there to provide me with tips on how to become a better supervisor, and I have grown into a better driver as well. I cannot thank Raj enough for what he has done for us. Fantastic experience: I have recently moved to the country this year, and wanted to secure an Australian driver’s license to be able to lease a car. Per our usual method, my husband and I googled driving instructors nearby, carefully scrutinizing the reviews to make sure we get the best. That hunt led us to Raj and License Plus. From the time of first contact, Raj has been very accommodating, profiling me to understand my needs as a new driver-learner here in Australia, and suggesting what package would suit me best and provide value for money. Raj’s “copy-paste” method during lessons was very effective. Given that I did not know how to drive on the other side of the road (back home, drivers were on the left), Raj made me realize that there were also these bad habits I developed in the past, which I had to slowly but surely unlearn in order to be a safe driver. The lessons went on, initially shaky but eventually smoothly. I started building and growing my confidence after each lesson with Raj. He has been guiding me from day 1 to mold me to become a safe driver for myself and especially my family. He was not only a driving instructor, he is like a big brother guiding his little sister. Fantastic experience: Raj has been an excellent instructor for both of my sons. He’s a genuinely great bloke - makes driving interesting and learning fun. He’s like a mate to his students, rather than a teacher. He took them on different routes: out to beaches, out to the airport, on motorways - as well as the test routes, and giving them mock tests. He went above and beyond, not simply teaching them how to pass a test, but teaching them skills that will stay with them for life (my sons have even taught me a few things). With something like a 99% first time pass rate, there really can’t be a better instructor. It helps that he’s previously been an examiner.

Fantastic experience: My LicensePlus journey with Raj was an unforgettable experience. His professionalism and way of training were impeccable, and his training style was not just about driving but also instilling a lifelong commitment to safety. What set him apart was his boundless empathy and care. He made me believe in myself, and the best thing I like about him is his keen observation, personalised guidance, and ability to tailor lessons to individual needs. And also, unlike other instructors, he simplified the complex, focusing on essential skills. His teaching method simplified complex manoeuvres and gave them the best techniques, which made them easy to remember and get them done effortlessly. Eg., reverse parallel parking, kerb leaving, three-point turn, etc. He imparts a sense of confident, common-sense driving and a genuine dedication to moulding not just drivers but responsible and compassionate road users. Fantastic experience: I had Raj as my instructor - before his lessons I was completely unprepared and it showed. I had very little time (2 weeks) from my booking to my exam. Fortunately, I had Raj within those 2 weeks leading up to my test. In only 4 sessions he built my knowledge from the ground up, and I walked into the exam as confident as possible. The results showed, and with Raj's excellent teaching I received my P's. I cannot recommend LicensePlus enough.

Fantastic experience: More than just passing the driving test ("assessment" would be the more appropriate word as per Raj), I wanted to develop self confidence and safe driving habits. I found LicensePlus through Google search, read the reviews and decided to give it a go. I selected Raj as my instructor and he is such an amazing person to have as an instructor! He is very patient, attentive and will treat you as a family. The tips he gave me boosted my self confidence and he always emphasizes on "natural and safe driving habits". He also takes you to the test routes so you can acclimatize yourself with the roads, speed limits etc. The Mock test helped a lot in preparing myself for the actual driving test - Raj explains each and every scenario where you need improvement so you could remember those points when you go for the real test. Fantastic experience: Raj is the best when it comes to customer service. I had a test in 2 days prior booking him. He squeezed me in once the day before and once the day of the test. He also has a very nice car haha. He drilled in the basics with not only his knowledge but the way he spoke reminded me when I was in the exam with the instructor. His expertise is over the moon esp with the Castle Hill Routes and just providing straight out value to be a better driver. I would recommend even those who are experienced drivers to learn a thing off him. 10/10 would go again (if I had to take the test again but I passed)

Fantastic experience: I had to convert my Philippine Driver License to a NSW Driver License and had to take the driving test as part of the process. So I reached out to Raj for help in getting me test-ready. His years of prior experience as an RMS driving test officer was so invaluable - He showed me the test routes in the area, insider tips and tricks along each of the routes, and even ran a VERY REALISTIC mock test with me so I could experience first-hand what test day would be like. This helped set expectations for me and helped me better prepare for the actual test. By test day, I was SO ready and sure enough, I passed it with flying colours! Raj not only made me a very competent driver, I was armed with a boost of confidence I had never felt before. Fantastic experience: After teaching my son for more than 100 hrs of driving, I took my son to LicencePlus Driving school to learn what is expected of him in the driving test, fixed his finer details of driving and pass his driving test in the first go. Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for Raj & Licence Plus Driving School. When I decided to get behind the wheels, I got a pretty decent and very positive feedback about Raj Ji from my friend. So I did not think of exploring other driving schools for reviews or quotes. Hands down, this was one of the best decisions that I made. Passed my driving test in first attempt. Yes, no big deal. But for me it was Huge. All credits to Raj. He genuinely cares about you as an instructor and he knows how to train each learner, as no learner is same. It is like as if he has a customized training plan for you. He's totally passionate about his work, that is evident from the day 1 you start learning from him. He just doesn't train you to drive. He teaches you to drive with confidence and makes you believe in your skills to be the safe driver for the rest of your life. He will teach you the nuances n minute details of driving from the perspective of the testing officer. He educates you and makes you thorough about the road rules which are pivotal part of driving. I was full of fear, phobia, anxiety, self-doubt and was too sure that I would never be able to drive. I took time to get ready for the test but when I was ready, I was sure that it would be now. He makes sure that you get used to the both- good and bad driving conditions, whether its inside the vehicle( chaos or noise in the car, songs etc- because you'll find him either talking or singing :-)) or on the road (traffic, weather etc). I cannot think of any condition that I wouldn't be able to navigate in. He keeps checking on you about your progress and practices. He removed my "cob-webs" as he used the term very frequently. He provided a very safe and comfortable environment for me and his patience and friendly demeanour helped me a lot in gliding through this learning experience, that surely was important to keep my nerves calm. After every lesson, I used to come home smiling, knowing well of my small growth and improvement that I achieved each day, My every word is full of deep gratitude and admiration for Raj as my driving Instructor and I would highly recommend Licence Plus to everyone. Fantastic experience: Raj directed me through the courses before the test comenced, with great precision and knowledge. His attention to every detail, and knowledge gave me the confidence to really overcome any doubts that i had. In what felt like such a short time we went over many things. Fantastic experience: I have recently started driving with Raj, who is a instructor from Licence plus. Raj has been super helpful towards making me feel confident and safe whilst driving. Fantastic experience: I would like to express my gratitude to LicencePlus specifically to Raj. I booked with him days before my driving exam. I hold an international license and had to learn the do’s and dont’s in driving in Australia. Raj gave me all the things I need to learn in a very short amount of time. Its like having multiple sessions with him in one sitting - very cost effective and efficient. He told me the things I dont have to worry about for easier driving and the things that I always have to take note of. This is a very effective way of only worrying the things that matter. He reminded me to drive naturally as I already know how to drive and just only apply the driving rules of Australia. Fantastic experience: I can not tell you how much we valued Raj and the guidance he gave our daughter when she was nearing her driving test. For Raj it's not about just getting the kids to pass the test, it's about developing their skills that stay with them, skills as a parent I had no idea about when trying to teach her to drive. His friendly nature makes the kids feel instantly at ease and they're able to relax and absorb the training he gives them. My daughter got her P's today and although I was a bundle of nerves, Raj made sure she felt totally comfortable and she passed with a 99% score. 10/5 stars Raj. You're an absolute legend.

Fantastic experience: Licence plus is fantastic beyond recommendation. Raj is one of the best people you can be taught by. Calm collect and always wanting and willing to help you improve From my learning experience with Raj I became not only competent behind the wheel but also confident too. I've struggled all my life with this problem and Raj deftly guided and informed me through each and every obstacle whether it may be physical or part of my mental walls I set myself.
Fantastic experience: Go with License Plus if you want to learn safe driving habits as well as understand why each one is important. Thanks for helping me to pass the driving test first go! Detailed version: You can buy throwaway $20 shoes that fall apart six times a year, or $200 shoes that last 10+ years/most of your life - except with LicensePlus and my instructor Raj specifically, the price difference with the other instructors is barely there if at all, but the contrast in quality holds true to the analogy. Over the span of our lessons together Raj instructed very clearly though well explained leading-by-example instances of how to drive, and the reasoning and logic behind them, not only regurgitating exactly what the book says, but also adding detail/correcting certain things even the official book doesn't explain well or represents incorrectly in the diagrams. Oh, and he (mostly) remembers pages and often line numbers off by heart for much of the content we covered...goes to show how well he both remembers the content but executes on it and teaches it as well. We took the journey together of going from "I'm okay to drive but unless I'm going straight on straight lane with nothing happening around me, any deviation from that makes me a bit nervous", to being confident in just about any situation that would happen in day to day driving. Starting off with local areas and very quickly branching out to surrounding areas including test courses, as well as further trips out to areas like Manly to integrate a host of different traffic situations and types of drivers spanning suburbs, we (given the compressed time frame) covered the gamut of different scenarios you'd expect on the road to prepare me for driving AFTER getting my provisional licence, not just the minimum needed for the test. And to that point, the test itself, minus the hint of nerves, was quite a bit easier than some of the drives and segments Raj and I did! I could keep going on but many of the other reviews I'm sure have already covered Raj's effective teaching style than I've already attempted to here, so if you need more data points, scroll through the other reams of reviews already available!

Fantastic experience: Having failed her driving test under another instructor my daughter was low on confidence. It was then that I found Raj and got him to mentor my daughter. She got her P’s last week on her first attempt with Raj. When I asked her what the difference was between Raj and her previous 2 instructors the feedback was that Raj was very patient and reassuring. Raj provided clear instructions that was easy to understand and follow. In comparison she found guidance by her previous instructors at times confusing. From my perspective I can see that my daughter is a much safer and confident driver now. I would not hesitate to recommend Raj.

Fantastic experience: My experience of learning driving was made very easy and relaxing since I had Raj as my instructor. All throughout my driving with him he was patient, composed and was able to calmly teach me all the basics and fundamentals needed to drive safely on the roads. He helped improve my confidence and lower my nerves before my driving test, which most certainly helped me pass and get my Ps. Fantastic experience: Raj is one of the best driving instructors. He is highly knowlegeable and patient. He knows his work best and he believes in transferring the same knowledge to all his students. He is passionate about his work and that's what makes him an excellent driving instructor. He believes in creating safe and confident drivers and his work speaks about his talent and excellent skills. Before Raj, I had taken classes with another instructor and I can openly say that I wasted so much money on nothing. He made me feel driving as a chore, but Raj made me feel driving as an enjoyable thing. Raj's mantra is to focus on building your confidence and making you a safe driver. He simply says once you achieve these, getting licence is nothing. And he excels in his work. Other instructors focus on getting your licence, but Raj focuses on beyond scenarios once you get your licence. His teaching methods are superb, his tehniques are excellent. All in all, I would recommend Raj to everyone not because I got my licence in one go, but because I want many others like me to get the proper guidance required to drive. Please focus on the success rate of Raj's students and do take atleast one class with him, you will definitely feel the difference. Another name of 'GETTING LICENCE' is 'RAJ'. Highly highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Raj was my instructor for my driving lessons, I have started my training with him from the beginning and he is the best instructor anyone could ask for while learning how to drive, from his wise words to his patience and teaching methods in the car. Before going to license plus, my previous instructor was short tempered which made me not enjoy driving, compared to Raj who caters to your specific learning methods and teaches in a calm and comfortable manner while boosting your confidence and making safe driving fun. Today I passed my test on my first go with an amazing score and I definitely couldn’t have done it without Raj. I cannot recommend License Plus more to start the beginning of your driving journey!

Fantastic experience: The guidance I received from Raj was invaluable as a driver for over 30years who’s license had lapsed and required a test to reinstate I thought no problem but the little things, habits I’d picked up on that I didn’t know I even had, that would have cost me a point were bought to my attention by someone who was a license tester with RTA for more then 20 years so I have no doubt that while I’m a good driver I would have failed on the tiniest of things only need to loose 10 points out of 107. Like putting my left hand under the wheel to make a right turn from a stationary position 1 point gone. No idea I did it not life threatening but 1 point gone how many right hand turns do you make during a driving test? .. thanks

Fantastic experience: My daughter had Raj as her driving instructor. I cannot speak highly enough of Raj, he is a wonderful teacher, he is so patient with the kids he teaches and he genuinely cares that they are taught the right way. Fantastic experience: When I contacted Raj for lessons I had not driven a vehicle for almost two years. Being recently moved to Australia, I had close to no experience of driving on the roads of Sydney. My foreign licence expired for 2 years while I was in Singapore. I was terrified of appearing in the driving test. I had contacted a few driving schools and felt that Raj's rates were e test, Raj didn't mention that even once during our discussion. When I went for my 1st lesson, he made it very clear that he is interested in teaching me better driving skills instead of tricks to pass the test. Passing the test would be a by-product of that. on a higher side. But while other driving schools were trying to sell me the tricks of passing th In total I took 3 lessons from him and he told me I was good to go with driving on my own and the driving test. I took the test and passed on the 1st attempt . Now when I look back I realise that going with Raj saved me both time and money. While other schools were trying to sell me bigger and bigger packages, Raj did no such thing. Instead he focused on the mistakes which were unique to me and motivated me to become a better driver. One thing I admire most about Raj is his ability to motivate you while also pointing out your mistakes. It's a delicate balance not a lot of people can master. Yet it's a skill which you definitely want in the driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Raj was great for both my sons. Having a teenager himself of the same age really helped his ability to relate to both my boys. He was calm, understanding and helped right thru to the end. He even went out of his way to help us with our booking for the P's test. Raj is most definitely a people person and patient to the stars!!

Fantastic experience: Raj was my instructor through License Plus and the only word that describes my experience is Awesome!!! I had only a few sessions with him but everything he shared with me during our lessons is still in my head and his voice keeps repeating while I am on road and that just makes me a better and safer driver for myself, my family and everyone on the road . I would surely recommend him for anyone who wants to be a safe and independent driver and more so because he has so much to share as an instructor. I had a learner’s license and with the help of driving lessons I passed my driving test (with almost perfection)and got a full license . Fantastic experience: Raj was extremely helpful in assisting me to get my P1 licence. From my very first driving lesson he was always there to help and provide key advice to get over my fears. Driving with Raj helped me to become a confident driver and relieve any stress. He is the main reason I passed the test on my first try. Fantastic experience: The best driving lessons you can ask for. Don't bother looking anywhere else, go here. The instructors I've been to before could tell you what to do, but not how to do it. Raj (who was my LicencePlus instructor) was someone who could finally explain how to do things technically and theoretically. He's a super friendly and supportive guy, of course, and is able to work with very particular schedules, as well as night driving classes as well. I passed on my first go, which I'm sure I wouldn't have done without his help.
