Fantastic experience: Timothy Chong was an amazing instructor! I had lessons with him a few years back and recently sat my Ps test with only an hour of driving before hand and passed my test. Even though we only had a short amount of time to practice before sitting the test he gave me the best advice that I will remember for all my driving years. I couldn’t recommend Tim enough, if you want someone who is thorough and a great person to be around chose Tim. Very grateful I had him as my teacher thank you rightway.

Fantastic experience: I had Sharum for automatic lessons and she was amazing. She was really patient with me and explained everything in a way i could understand. Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. I also had my pretest with her she calmed my nerves completely and I passed my test first go!

Fantastic experience: I've had four driving instructors from Rightway Driving, and whilst all were good, none were as amazing as Tim. Not only was he super friendly and patient, but his methods were amazing and he helped me to calm down before my test. Tim also made sure to throughly communicate every step of the way. I was able to gain confidence driving with him and ended up passing my test with 0 errors. I would 1000% recommend Tim!!!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend toTim as a driver instructor. He has taught me all the steps to take into account when driving, maneuvers that I didn't know, he has helped me strengthen my weaknesses in a direct, clear and concise way in what I should improve, understanding my nerves and motivating me to do better, I definitely haven't taken the classes just to pass the driving test, but I have gained knowledge for the future. Following all his recommendations and feeling more confident, I got my driver licence on the first try.

Fantastic experience: Went with this company as a mature age manual learner, my instructors were Richard and Alan, both amazing and excellent at what they do. I did 4 lessons and a test, passed the manual test without fault. Wouldn't have been possible without the guidance of Alan and Richard to snap me out of my old driving habits. Could not recommend this driving school more and specifically both of the instructors I had the pleasure of learning from. Cheers fellas.

Fantastic experience: I received a recommendation for John at Rightway after my daughter had a bad experience with another company. He was amazing as was the customer service we received from Rightway. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Half way out of the parking spot and nearly ran into the middle of my car definitely wouldn’t recommend him as a driving instructor . I does not know how to drive himself clearly was being instructor because he had no students in Car I had a young baby in the car and nearly ran into us speeding in Bunnings car park

Fantastic experience: My son had several lessons with James and he was so friendly and helpful, giving us tips on things to work on and giving my son the confidence he needed. We also did the test package with James which was very helpful on the test day. James took my son for a drive before the test and then he was able to use the same car for his test drive so he was in a familiar vehicle. I would definitely recommend Rightway and especially James if you’re looking for a great driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Norm was absolutely incredible as a driving instructor. I was a nervous wreck for the test and his calm and reassuring presence was much needed. I don’t think I could’ve passed me test without him as my instructor. He made me feel so comfortable behind the wheel, especially because I had not finished my 100 hours (I had an exemption due to not having my parents in the country). Before the test he showed me tips and tricks that I am 100% sure are the only reason I passed. This was my second time giving the test and I didn’t think I could do it. Norm has done more than give me a driving lesson. His support is the reason I now have my freedom and my life. My family did not let me learn to drive back in my own country so having the freedom to go anywhere anytime is a privilege for me. And Norm was the one that made it happen. I will raving about his instructor skills to everybody I know. Thank you so so much Norm you are an absolute legend!

Fantastic experience: I am a overseas license holder from a 3rd world nation and I booked RAJ for a few fresher lessons to learn about the driving in Australia. He was prompt and on time for all the bookings and was great in explaining in what I did wrong, what I could do better and was very supportive and patient with me. He is very experienced and guided me on the good driving habits to ensure that I am a good driver. I also booked him for my driving test package and he took me for a warm-up session before the test and also filled out the forms at the test center. He was very kind and professional and has the relevant experience and he has had a lot of students from different nations which is a plus. A work colleague of mine is using this company and RAJ is the instructor. We are going to book this school for our spouses as soon as we have their paper work in order for the Learners Permit applications.

Fantastic experience: Rightway is perfect for any learner driver with little and alot of experience, I booked with John in particular he was the best of the best he was call but also taught me everything i needed to know to pass my P test and within the 1st lesson i learnt how to do everything i needed for my test, John will also take you around driving showing you everything they tend to do in the test so you have nothing to worry about during it, i cant thank John and the team enough for everything they taught me and highly recommend choosing rightway driving for your L driving experience (particularly John)

Negative experience: Fail, 4 lessons plus a test, no real guidance given, son and husband was told not to worry about manuvers, kept practicing what he was already good at instead of practicing hill starts and parking etc, learnt more from friends instructors than his own. Very disappointing!

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience with Rightway Driving after a poor experience with another driving school. Easy to book, reliable, great instructor (patience of a saint - thanks Gary from Ormeau!), and my daughter passed her test!

Positive experience: My wife had a terrible experience with the instructor Richard S, to the point that she came home traumatized of driving instead of being encouraged, had to cancel one pre-booked session with him without a refund. I understand that teachers have different styles of teaching, but belittling and disrespectful unnecessary comments doesn't help students to learn. We changed instructor to Sharum which did a great job, very professional, calm and encouraging. My wife had 3 sessions with her and passed the exam on first take. 1 star for Richard S, 5 stars for Sharum.

Negative experience: USELESS! UNPROFESSIONAL! Don’t waste your time. They don’t care about nor are they good instructions! Nor are they friendly! Nightmare to deal with the instructors and this so called Driving school .

At Rightway Driving School, specially with Jan everything becomes so easy and enjoyable. Rightway Driving School is very Professional and extremly organised Company that from the time you start your lessons till you get through your test they make you feel at ease and try their best to make sure you succeed. Negative experience: The gray haired individual driving one of the vehicles is an absolute clown on the highway. I’ve never seen someone, let alone a “driving instructor”, lack such situational awareness on the roads that can endanger the lives of other people. Astounding levels of hypocrisy to be instructing beginners on how to drive when you can’t even demonstrate the most basic principles of road safety

Fantastic experience: Giuseppe was the best instructor you could have, extremely patient and motivating. You get excited to go for a driving lesson when you sit with him and he knows all the roads you will be tested on. I needed to get manual for my rally license and Giuseppe did a good job of separating my driving and racing mentalities. I passed first go in a manual with 2 minors without ever driving manual before having 2 weeks of lessons with Giuseppe. Can’t recommend him enough

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of having Sharon as my instructor throughout my driving journey. At age 26, I had never sat behind the wheel & felt anxious about driving. Sharon made me feel at ease with her patient and calm approach. She builds great rapport and has the ability to make each lesson feel like you’re hanging out with an old friend. Because of her I was able to pass my test after completing just over a dozen one hour lessons. I am very grateful to have come across her & definitely recommend her to learners of all ages and walks of life. I also would like to mention Richard whom I had a couple of lessons with when Sharon was unavailable - he’s great for learners who require a firmer approach.
