Fantastic experience: After some brief and friendly calls with Affordable administrative staff I attended the Ormeau branch for my HR Licence ( Greg my trainer ) made the whole experience Relaxed yet highly professional and informative After the driver training was complete I felt highly confident and ready for my Test which was completed at Helensvale TMR - when i presented to be Tested Greg streamlined the whole process from the completing of Forms and introduction to the allocated Licencing officer. They all seemed to know Greg which I felt gave me an edge and settled my building Nerves I proceeded to Ace my test and acquired my HR licence first try , thanks to Greg's training methods and calm demeanour For anyone considering this direction - I could not 'Recommend Affordable' more .it was Great from start to finish Thx Simon

Fantastic experience: I really loved them, the administration girls were really nice, great organisation of time. They send email and text message a previous day to remember the appointment. The facilities where you can practice are great for the task, there are several teachers. I did two tickets and both were with Jackson (my teacher) he is great, super cool, nice guy, explain till you get it, he shows you how to do it and if you are doing it bad way he has a lot patience and explain again and again and all the times you need till you can do it perfect. I really recommend this truck school

Fantastic experience: Great experience from the start with the admin who were happy to accommodate for my difficult schedule and throughout with my training. As someone who has no on road truck driving experience I thought I might have bit off more than I could chew when after my first lesson but with the guidance and knowledge of my trainer, I managed to get across the line on my first attempt with the HR unrestricted driving test first try with just 12 hours of lessons. Couldn't be more stoked and would recommend the team a Affordable Truck School to anyone who's interested in upskilling. Thanks again!

As a student you have more than enough opportunity to not only pas the tests but for the instructors to have a hight Duty of care for students to qualify with confidence. I also had commendable flexibility form the office who allowed me to have my course split due to my Wedding. Would recommend this company to anyone. Fantastic experience: I did my Medium Rigid truck license through the Affordable Truck School for my job. Luke did a fantastic job instructing me on what to look out for, what the licensing instructor would be looking out for and providing clear advice. Personally, after commuting 1.5 hours and with my experience, I felt like I peaked after about 3 hours of practice. But 4 hours is definitely enough to get everybody up to speed if you stay calm. Fantastic experience: Big thanks to Affordable Truck School for all the assistance in obtaining my MR licence this week. Everyone in the office was super helpful and encouraging especially Leeanne back in June when I made initial contact about getting my MR licence. Dave was my instructor on Monday and he was great! I was extremely nervous about it all after the Monday driving lesson as I felt way out of my comfort zone and I was very worried I wasn't going to pass my test the next day. But then Mark was my instructor on Tuesday ... I really want to give extra thanks to Mark. He took it all back to basics for me and explained everything perfectly and actually showed me how to drive a "truck" as I was driving the truck like a car! We have a recreational truck that I have been driving with my L Plates but I did not know how to actually drive a "truck". Once Mark explained the difference to me, and actually showed me, it all made sense to me and as a result calmed my nerves alot! I really appreciate everything that Mark went through with me on Tuesday as I don't think I would've passed my test on Tuesday afternoon without his expert and professional instruction and advice. Mark was very encouraging and positive just before my test and once I was in the truck with the TMR tester it all came together for me and I felt very calm and I credit Mark for this. Please pass on my thanks to Mark. He is a gem! Also Johnno, the TMR tester, was very good... He made me feel very comfortable.... and after all the nerves I only made two errors :) Thanks so much ATS... very happy MR Trucker here

Fantastic experience: mostly, thanks mark, excellent trainer dude, 1st time I've driven a semi, hooked up the trailer within the 1st 15min & started my training, had 3 x 3hr lessons with mark & that was it!… the office staff were also spot on in my books with their ease of booking procedures etc. I’d recommend anyone wanting their truck or any mobile plant equipment tickets, to give these guys a call & thanks again, mark. Fantastic experience: instructor was awesome with his information on what to do and what not to do, only had two lessons before the test was impressed on how my experience changed after those two lessons, thanks affordable truck school, I appreciate everything, I will definitely be coming back in the future for a higher truck class

Fantastic experience: So far i had few different instructors and they all are amazing! My last instructor named Dave who was with me yesterday and made me really feel comfortable and ease on my test day. He reminded me everything what i needed to do during my test day (because i tend to forget things when I get nervous ) Admins are great people as well as they always take their time on helping and giving me information i needed. Thank you everyone who helped me achieved my HR Licence! Highly recommended Affordable Truck School!

Fantastic experience: They were very nice people, and gave detailed instructions on how to drive the truck. I did their 6 hr course over a period of 2 and a half weeks. No prior trucking experience. Fantastic experience: I went through Affordable Truck School at Ormeau to get my HR licence. My experience from start to finish was excellent. Luke my trainer/instructor went above and beyond to ensure I was ready to take my test! Luke has a very welcoming, friendly, professional and personable nature and I’m very thankful for his patience as I got to grips with the road ranger. Luke’s advice and guidance was super helpful and I’d highly recommend him and the team at ATS to anyone wanting to upgrade their licence. I’ll definitely be returning to upskill in the future. Fantastic experience: Got my lic with them, pretty happy with the outcome. Just not many trucks probably just one truck per class, which meant booking will be very full all the time.
