Fantastic experience: had a really good experience with hustville Asia driving school , communication was clear and everyone was super helpful. Special thanks to my instructor Alan and Mark who I can attest my confidence on the road to, he's a patient and experienced instructor who has helped me go from total beginner to a driver who can safely and confidently navigate main roads, intense intersections and all the tricky things that come with driving. He definitely wants you to get the most out of what you pay for and I'm thankful for that.

Negative experience: Great teaching but very poor service and professionalism. I had Mark as my instructor. His instruction was great and easy to understand. I had over 10 hours with him. However, he made some casual offensive remark and when I told him I was uncomfortable, he laughed it off and kept on with it. But that wan't the only issue. I also used digital log book since why not. Mark refused to sign after every session saying it took time and he needed to move onto the next student. Understandable. He promised to sign everything off at the end of our last session. Great! But at the end of the last session, he refused to sign my digital log book saying it was inconvenient and a physical one would be better. I respected his opinion so I asked if I could come over to the office to have it sign off after buying the physical one. He said he would only sign if I had another session with him as it would take 30mins to an hour to sign off everything. Of course I said no. This is not okay. To anyone who is considering this school, make sure you make the instructor sign the log book at the end of EVERY SINGLE SESSION. Otherwise, he might pull this on you. Best of luck, Taylore

Fantastic experience: I was so happy to find Sandy from Hurstville Asia Driving School. I was an inexperienced beginner and her guidance and driving tips gave me a lot of confidence on the road. She provides notes and feedback after classes and sends extra tips via messages and links to other videos. We drove mostly in the testing zone so I could get comfortable with the area and I was very happy that my driving test was in a familiar area that I had practiced before. I was surprised I passed my test first go and I thank Sandy and her constant reminders of the necessary head checks and signals. Would highly recommend for anyone that needs to learn how to drive or even if you just need a refresher.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this driving school enough. Sandy is an excellent driving instructor who accommodates to her student’s specific needs. I booked a few sessions with her after having driven with my dad for a few years in order to prepare for my dreaded P’s test. In less than a month, I came away with not only the knowledge and skills, that I was expecting to learn to pass the test but also a great deal more confidence to drive on the roads even after the test. Sandy corrected my bad habits and filled in the many gaps I had in my driving skills (e.g. head checks, correct procedures for changing and merging lanes), that I wasn’t able to properly learn previously, due to a lack of proper, focussed instruction. She was incredibly patient and even provided me with resources to read even after our driving sessions. This level of attention, professionalism and tailored instruction came as a very pleasant surprise as I had previously had a driven a few sessions with a similarly priced driving school with decidedly fewer results. It is safe to say that I wouldn’t have passed my driving test on the first go without Sandy and I cannot thank her enough. I not only recommend Hurstville Asia Driving School to those like me, who are looking to practice for and learn the ins and outs of the driving test but those of all levels looking to learn safe driving and increase their confidence. I will also be recommending this school to my younger sister who will start driving soon so she can start early on good driving habits!

I passed first go with full marks from all the thorough advice I was given during the lessons. They are very experienced and are specific in pointing out areas that needs improvement and will help you in correcting them. Reverse parking was one of my weaknesses but they were so patient and after all the tricks they’ve taught me, I am now very comfortable parking. Fantastic experience: I'm glad to have found Sandy and the Hurstville Asia Driving School through others who left positive google reviews. Now that I have had lessons with Sandy, and passed my test, I would like to add to the long list of positive reviews. Sandy was a great teacher. Very patient and kind and understanding. It was my first time learning to drive and I'm on the older age ranger for a first time learner in Australia. Not only Sandy taught me skills, but she also gave me the confidence to keep learning and progressing, and to not dwell on my mistakes (which for an anxious driver like me, that is an important thing to remember). Sandy can be strict with rules. But that's needed to be a safe driver beyond just passing a driving test (although not less than passing a driving test - she kept repeating the important things to remember, and the "homework" / reminder messages during the week / after lessons helped). Driving lessons had been nothing but enjoyable and something I looked forward to each time. Price wise, it was very competitive, which I appreciate. Finding the right driving school / driving teachers can be a personal thing. Sometimes, a teacher that works well for someone, might not be a good fit for others. But to anyone looking for a driving teacher / school in the Hurstville / South Eastern Sydney area and not sure where to start, I hope that you will give Sandy / Hurstville Asia Driving School a go (or maybe Mark since he seems to be receiving glowing reviews too). Try a lesson and see for yourself. (And no, I'm not paid to do this review. I just want to leave a good and helpful feedback as I found a good teacher / driving school through google reviews and so want to leave one for others in return).
