Fantastic experience: I had the great pleasure of learning to drive with Steve and I couldn't be more happy that I went with him as my driving instructor! From the first day we started, he was so incredibly friendly and relaxed, putting me at ease right away despite how nervous I was to be driving. He made me feel so comfortable with handling the vehicle and made sure I knew that I was just a learner and mistakes were okay. He taught me everything I needed to know and more, and made sure we spent lots of time on the more difficult things like parking or going through unusual road areas that I was more unsure about. His very friendly personality was a pleasure to drive and converse with and actually got me very used to driving and holding a conversation at the same time which is also something I struggled with when I first started, but Steve turned me into a very confident driver. I went from easily one of the most nervous drivers, terrified to ever get behind a wheel, to a person that actually enjoys driving and no longer second guesses anything on the road. Steve's car is a pleasure to drive, and he taught me to park and do other manoeuvres perfectly with or without using the parking camera. Throughout our time driving together he would always be sure I was doing every little thing to help me pass my test, always reminding me to do head checks, help me remember where exactly the school zones start and end, and everything else you'd ever need to know. He also taught me, through watching his on the spot thinking and fast decision making, how to react quickly to other drivers minor mistakes. I had a decent handful of lessons with Steve and I can easily say I enjoyed every single one of them and felt like I became a better driver with each passing lesson. He made sure I was completely ready for the day of my test and helped calm my nerves the day of where I passed on my first go! I couldn't have asked for a better teacher in driving : ) thanks very much Steve for all the great lessons and wonderful conversations!
