Negative experience: A Very Bad Experience. I had a very unpleasant experience with KUSH DUA. He was one of the rudest and most negative individuals I have encountered in Australia. Throughout the lesson, he constantly made negative remarks, making me feel uncomfortable. During the pre-test driving lesson, he repeatedly commented that I smelled bad and needed a shower. As a result, I had to go back home just 30 minutes before my test to take a shower, wasting the one-hour lesson I had scheduled. Despite this, I proceeded with the test, but his behavior affected my performance. During the test, he provided no support or guidance. Near the end of the test, while changing lanes, he panicked unnecessarily and reached for the steering wheel. Although he didn’t touch it, his reaction created the impression that I had done something dangerous, which led the examiner to terminate the test. I do not recommend him at all. This experience cost me both my time and confidence. I would also like to add that as a practicing Muslim and a civil engineer working in an office environment, I take great care of my appearance and personal hygiene. It is highly unlikely that I would have any unpleasant odor, making his comments even more inappropriate and offensive. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY, I WOULD LIKE TO CLARIFY A FEW POINTS: Regarding the Immediate Termination: I fully understand that the decision to terminate the test lies solely with the VicRoads Testing Officer. My comment about Kush reaching towards the steering wheel was to highlight how his unnecessary reaction created added stress and confusion during an already tense situation. While I respect safety protocols, I believe his intervention was unnecessary and contributed negatively to my performance. Regarding the “smell issue”: I find this comment completely inappropriate and offensive. As a practicing Muslim and a civil engineer working in a professional office environment, I take great care of my personal hygiene. It is highly unlikely that I would have any unpleasant odor. Suggesting otherwise based on personal assumptions, especially during a driving lesson, was unprofessional and disrespectful. About professionalism: Instead of offering constructive feedback or support during the lesson, Kush’s remarks made me feel uncomfortable and undermined my confidence. A driving instructor’s role should be to guide and encourage learners, not to pass inappropriate comments that are irrelevant to driving. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism, especially during such a critical process as a driving test. Unfortunately, this was not my experience. I hope this feedback is taken constructively for future improvements.

He is organized, calm, and professional, providing clear advice and effective techniques to ensure safe driving and success in the driving exam. Negative experience: Filled out the online form - didn't back hear from them. If I missed a call, they didn't leave a voicemail, send me a text message, send me an email, or try to call again. Filled out the online form again, instructor reached out and agreed upon a date. Instructor then postponed the lesson until the following weekend, of which they never showed up or sent a message. Incredible this place has a straight 5.0 rating when I can't even manage to get a lesson.

Fantastic experience: Passed my overseas license conversion on my first try thanks to Sahra. She's extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Doing the practice runs with her felt just like the actual exam, and her feedback has always been on point. I strongly recommend Sahra as your driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional driving school, I started learning how to drive in July 2024 and I passed my Test in October, when I first started I was very nervous about driving and making mistakes. Thanks to my wonderful instructor Bill, I got more comfortable on the road and I learned to embrace mistakes and learn from them. Bill was very patient and understanding and his method of teaching is first class, he was always on time and was always very friendly. Fantastic experience: Just did my driving test today and passed in my first try. My partner also did a driving test a couple of months back with Mick and also passed with her first try. Highly recommend Mick as your instructor as he guides you through and points out any mistakes so that you can improve on them. He also brings you through the test routes so that you will be familiar. Once again, thank you for the driving lessons and I highly recommend getting Mick as your instructor as he is very experienced and always give good tips.

I had very little experience, and, importantly, was seriously lacking in confidence on the roads. However, in the space of just a few months I went from not having driven in almost 5 years to comfortably passing my Ps test at Carlton on the first go. He accommodated my last-minute worries and questions and taught me techniques that lead to me making no mistakes during my driver's test. I started the session very anxious about my driving abilities, by the end of the session I was building significant confidence about my driving. He was very patient and calmly let me know what my mistakes were for me to improve on them. It was a very smooth process :).

I had a terrible experience with a previous driving instructor, and this really put me off. I swore at the time I would never try to learn to drive again, but Shei changed all that.
