Fantastic experience: Instructor guy was pretty nice and told me all the specifics of driving that helped me pass the vort. Very chill and casual person, I was comfortable throughout each lesson, allowing me to stay cool even during heated moments when I would make small mistakes. Although at first it may not seem like it, but a few sessions with an instructor are absolutely crucial if you want to pass and I personally recommend the 2-day split with vort (which is what I did). Although it doesn't say on the website, this includes 6 hours over multiple days and the test at the end. I've had other instructors before, but David has to be one of the best out there. He's firm when he needs to be and knows how to approach different scenarios. I would highly recommend this institute if you not only want to pass the vort but also want to learn how to be more safe on the road and drive properly. Fantastic experience: Sohal was a great driving instructor, was direct and affirming while also understanding of any inconveniences or mistakes. He was able to effectively use hand drawn diagram's throughout the lessons to illustrate teaching moments and show hypothetical scenarios. Sohal was switched on enough to quickly determine my weak points in my driving from previous experience in the country, and teach the methods of forward planning, observation and judgement. I had an awful experience with another instructor who taught me as though I was clueless (instead of acknowledging that I have 20+years driving experience overseas) and I had massive anxiety about driving again post partum. David is very calm, and he instilled confidence in me again. He corrected some bad habits I’ve acquired over the years and reinforced the good ones. He knows how to cater and tweak his style to an experienced overseas driver and first time mom like me. He was very clear in his instructions and just a good person overall!! Highly recommended! Fantastic experience: I finally got my license and happy with the service Safe Drive SA offer, they were honest, professional and guided me through the whole process of transferring my international driving licence to an Australian license. If you are transferring your international driving licence to an Australian drivers license listen to David’s advice as you will definitely need a few practice lesson’s before the test. I learnt this the hard way by not practicing enough and thinking I could drive and eventually failing my first test. Fantastic experience: I came from Venezuela with my hubby and we used to live in Sydney where transport is awesome, so I didn't need to convert my overseas license. But then we moved to Adelaide with our 2 kids under 5. In here, it is absolutely necessary to have a car and specially if you have kids. (Taxis are a pain and very expensive and not always available, busese every hour in the suburb we live and sometimes we spent 2 hours one way because of the transportation system in here when by car only takes 20 min). It is then when I decided to proceed with my driving lessons in order to obtain my licence. I initially went to another driving school where I receive some lessons but to be honest I felt something was not right about that school and I have stopped my classes with them and a friend of mine recommended me Safe Drive SA. I contacted them for the full day plus vort package (split it in 2 days) and they were very kind and responsive, they asked me about my driving and I was completely honest about it (my frontal parking and parallel parking were horrible). Then I met Steve, my driving instructor. He was absolutely amazing in his way to explain every detail about how to drive properly, safe and corrected the previous manoeuvres I had from the previous school. He explained to me how important is to be safe and we have to drive properly, he always was calm and spoke very softly. He made me practice the manoeuvres a lot of times and gave me great details about seconds, checkings, mirrors that I didn't know before but wow, improved my manoeuvres like 100%. David, the examiner was very calm, respectful, and his instructions were very clear. He made me feel confident and gave me feedback after my test (which I passed btw) I told them this before and I will say it again: Thank you!!!! Thank you!!! THANK YOU! your way of teaching is absolutely fantastic and I recommend Safe Drive SA to all the people in Adelaide. I wish I could met them before my previous school. They are absolutely worth it. Fantastic experience: David was so wonderful! He was very accommodating and very quick to get lessons started once reaching out to him which is fantastic. Extremely calm, kind and supportive throughout each lesson and my journey. Taught very valuable skills and helped build up my confidence being on the roads. I couldn’t recommend David enough. He is fantastic with learners at all different stages of their driving journey. I am an older learner (in my late 20s). I had a terrible experience with a driving school years ago which put me off. David was patient and a great instructor. I can’t thank him enough and highly recommend!
