Negative experience: I just got off the phone with George who was extremely rude, he kept pushing me to book a 60min lesson when I only wanted 45mins, and told me 'I don't care what you think' when I explained that I was already a fairly confident driver and was just looking to enhance my skills before my Probationary drive test. He also repeatedly cut me off, he did not listen to what I was trying to say and overall maintained an attitude that he 'knew what was best for me', disregarding my own preferences. There's no way I'm spending money on a driving lesson with someone as rude as George.

I had some scheduling issues and needed a driving instructor last minute for my test and MDS was able to book me in with Harri literally the night before my test. Saved me from having to rebook in a months time! Harri was very friendly and I felt very comfortable driving with him, he kept a calm tone of voice the whole drive (which made me feel relaxed as I was very nervous for my test) and gave me very helpful pointers. Overall a very positive experience and I am very grateful for his help!

Fantastic experience: Ohhhh man where do I start... I wanted to personally thank Con the driving instructor for his exceptional teaching, patience as well as daily laughs and memorable moments! I am saying this, since I just passed my Ps test in Hobart, Tasmania with flying colours all thanks to Con for his high level of expertise in the driving industry. Con has always prepared me for the driving test from the 1st day by using the "assessors" language throughout our driving lessons. He always made sure I was aware of ALL the test drive routes around Broadmeadows and Coolaroo since we would practice religiously leading up to my test. I remember when I always would mix up RIGHT and LEFT indications due to the fact that I have taken a long break from driving in my 1st year of Uni in Melb. Con took the time to re-teach me in residential areas before I gained significant confidence to be on main roads and test routes! Con is the guy that would NEVER make you feel ashamed and/or nervous regardless of your age, gender and experience with driving! Instead, he will always look forward to seeing you. Hoping to give you an opportunity to always be the SAFEST and most CONFIDENT driver around every driving route and scenario! (around Broadmeadows "Coo-Coos" he often calls) He is always on time *always early and ready for my driving lessons. Con is always flexible with schedulling your lessons according to your work and uni *even though he only does work as a part-timer, clearly purely for passion for teaching rather than money compared to other 2 instructors I have experienced in Tasmania prior to Con! Apart from ALL of this, Con will always would like to get to know all of his students. He would always tell you funny moments and stories in the car with endless of laughter and relaxing drives *since I decided to have exceptionally long lessons 1.5 or 2h sessions per day that NEVER felt so long compared to other instructors that may not talk to you throughout the driving lessons! Personally, I believe that Con will NEVER dissapoint you and there is no amount of money that could replace someone like Con. p.s. I was more than happy to spend 40-50h hours with Con in a period of 1.5 months daily to gather up my confidence and hours in the Logbook to be able to drive with family at night and Con in the morning around Melb and Hobart. Con is way MORE than just an "old driving instructor", he will be your best instructor in Northern Suburbs who truly cares personally for his students i.e. he will not sleep in peace unless he knows that all of his students have passed their driving tests! Again, it's a long review I decided to write for Con (sincere apologies for EVERYONE reading this) but I wouldn't be able to cover all his attributes if I didn't write a whole essay about him here! Fantastic experience: Great Experience overall! I had Shane as my instructor and he was great. I already had semi okay driving experience, but had not driven actively in a while. Shane got me up to scratch and taught me a lot in our three lessons, he showed me everything to look out for and I easily passed my drivers test. If I had not of had lessons with Shane I am doubtful I would have passed first try.

Fantastic experience: After putting off driving for so long, all throughout Covid etc , I finally decided to get behind the wheel again and take control of my life. I got a very enthusiastic call from Con after contacting masters driving school and from then onwards my confidence boosted. I originally asked for a woman instructor but as soon as I heard con’s voice I felt I was in safe hands. After almost a year of lessons ( would’ve been quicker but I didn’t have a car) I passed my drive test and Con couldn’t have been more helpful. The best and most important thing about Con is how he prepares you mentally and physically for your drive test. Every lesson it’s as if we are doing the test and it’s on the test routes and if I wanted to do something different I had the option. He was super flexible around my schedule, extremely organised and very friendly. We learnt a lot about each other and going from driving being a huge fear of mine to now feeling natural is a credit to him. Thankyou Con, Drive Confidence :)

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive in my late twenties was always going to be difficult, especially without access to a car or living interstate meaning I didn’t have family to teach me. I am so thankful for the experience, patience and humour my teacher Con showed me over a year of lessons as I learnt to drive. I feel incredibly lucky to have been taught by him and proud of the work we did to equip me to drive. Through every setback or difficulty, Con remained understanding and positive. Despite my test having difficult conditions, because of the practice I’d done with Con I was able to pass. Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. I am an older learner (almost 40... and was going for my p plates for the first time). I was fortunate to have Marvin as my instructor - braybrook area. He was a great instructor, very encouraging, had a good sense of humour and more importantly, he gave me confidence. I passed first time, but on reflection, I think he didn't just teach me to pass a driving test, he taught me how to confidently and safely drive, what to watch out for and how to avoid problems / spot things early, all the skills needed to do well on the road. Fantastic experience: I have a wonderful experience learning from Shane, one of the instructors at MDS. Shane is a really great instructor and a great person. Even after having an overseas driving license, there were few other instructors who tried to criticise me and decrease my confidence when I approached them to help me clear the driver's test in Australia. Fantastic experience: Just got my driving license today. Coming from a country where we drive from left Shane kept me well informed of the rules and changes. Shane took me to pretty much all the testing routes and ended up getting the one we practised earlier on the day. Picked me Up and dropped me off at the right places at all times. Fantastic experience: Hi guys, I had Con as my driving instructor since December and I can’t recommend him enough. He is talkative and made me feel safe behind the wheel whenever we went driving. All throughout February I had a lesson every week and every time I drove he would give instructions that were simple and easy to understand. As well as he taught me the one of the routes that is taken throughout the driving test so I could recognise the area and be a little less nervous in the test. I thankfully passed with the help of Con and I could not have asked for a better instructor. And don’t forget to Drive with Confidence .

Fantastic experience: It was pleasant experience to learn my Driving with Shane(Master driving school),. He is really genuine and I believe is the best instructor to learn driving . No words to describe how good he is in his job . So if you guys want to pass in 1st go, choose Shane from master driving school as your instructor.

Fantastic experience: I have recently passed my drive test in one shot with Rose from MDS. Thanks to Rose who is a very nice and patient instructor. Rose is very well organised and never late for classes. During my learning period I had ups and downs with driving practice and Rose showed patience and guided me through each bump.
