Fantastic experience: My instructor for the learner rider course was Mark, absolute legend. Was very patient and polite. Made the two days very fun and educational. Would recommend him to any first time riders or anyone wanting to get their bike license.

Fantastic experience: I took the pre-learner course here with Brian as the instructor. Having never even sat on a motorcycle before (just push bikes and driving manual transmission cars), there was a lot to learn in just two days, but Brain made it work. I had to ask for clarification a few times, which Brian was happy to provide. Definitely do the same if you need to. It's not annoying, it shows that you are engaging with the course. Plus chances are that at least one of your fellow students has the same question, but is just too shy to ask. One thing I really liked was that instead of just reciting theoretical information from a piece of paper, Brain would explain why exactly it matters in the real world. I just purchased my first bike and despite it being a month later, the moment I touched it, everything Brian said instantly came back to me, like I heard it just yesterday.

Positive experience: I did my P and L training here. It was average. My L trainer was good, my P trainer spoke to me like I was a moron.The test was rushed. It's a shame there is no other place in Newcastle to do this course. My son did his recently & I took him to Taree to do it given my average experience here.

Negative experience: First day of learners course was amazing as I have never touched a motorbike before and I got so much out of it. The second day however we were running a bit late so our instructor started to rush everything and at the end he didn’t even give us a practice go for our test it was just straight into it. Myself and another person in my group (who had never ridden before) stalled the bike in that assessment ride and therefore he failed us. I am extremely disappointed on how this turned out as being not have touched a bike before getting rushed through a course is not ideal. I work full time and took two days off work to complete this course which now I have to go back and do it again. Very disappointed in this as I thought it would have been more professional and if we were running late still work overtime to make sure all of your students are comfortable and are able to pass with flying colours.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and effective operation. Mark my instructor was approachable, very knowledgeable and a really effective teacher who related well to all in the class. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will be going back for the next stages of my training.

Fantastic experience: Took the night course with Chris and had an amazing time learning. Packs the class with a lot of humour in the lesson keeping you engaged. After the two days of classes, I definitely feel motivated and ready to continue on the path. Edit, went back three months later for my P's. Again had Chris, he made the session fun and impactful. We started out practicing and then did the long ride, he gave good instructions but I still managed to get lost and he was super encouraging. He found a couple of faults during my ride and that was corrected. Came back and practiced more doing a mock MOST. We then did the MOST test and that was great, he explained every step in detail and then gave time for questions. Only thing I wish, both classes had student time wasters. I wish they could be moved off or figure a way to get them to stop yapping as I'm trying to focus on the instructor and they're making an already long class extremely long.

Fantastic experience: Did my Ps with Chris. Great bloke knows he's stuff and made the day enjoyable got a lot from it highly recommend.

Negative experience: One of the biggest scamming companies I've ever met in my life watch what information you need to ask and double check it before you book in they're quite happy to scam you out of your money even though you are not eligible to do the course they'll take your cash bunch of scamming rip-offs

Fantastic experience: Have had my training done with Brian. He’s so kind and fun but also serious. I’m only 156cm had some problems with some activities as well but no problem with anyone in the group (3 males, 2 ladies including me). The serious part is you have to meet the minimum standard, you have to follow the trainer instructions or you don't pass.

Negative experience: I attempted my learners in the most atrocious conditions. I was the only female and was intimidated by the maleness of the course. Instructor talked about his meat and 2 veggie regularly which was very sexist and not inclusive. I am very short so struggled to do some of the activities which required 2 flat feet. Again I was slower and made to feel bad. I left the course without completing. Need women instructors and ways for women to feel more included with strategies . Maybe women only courses

Negative experience: Interesting place as the trainers and training is great but the admin, management and processes is lackluster to say the least. Had it myself and heard plenty of stories about issues with bookings, rescheduling etc. Shame that a poor management and admin team let down a good service.

Negative experience: Expects you to come with covid - the women on the phones and email are rude and obnoxious. Even with a doctor’s certificate won’t allow a rebook. Might as well throw them money for nothing.

Negative experience: Course was great. Problem was, they didn't tell me the RMS wasn't letting people take the rider knowledge test at the time I did the course. So I passed their prelearner course and was never able to get my learner License afterwards. Irresponsible they didn't tell us. Waste of $95.

Fantastic experience: I've never been on a bike before and done the pre learner course that you need to complete before getting your learner license. Driving instructor was great, clear in teaching and helps you in being a more relaxed rider with their guidance. I understand if you're anxious about the course however it's really relaxed and you'll prove competent in riding if you don't rush the process and show you understand each excercise

Fantastic experience: Went there as a total beginner and left feeling confident to ride. Brendan was an excellent instructor and made me feel comfortable through the whole experience.

Negative experience: Three of us booked online to do the course together, their system took the money but didn’t book one of us in and didn’t notify us that it wasn’t booked. Tried to change to the next available day so we could all still go together but the admin said changing would forfeit the two other payments. No apologies, no trying to be accommodating when the issue was on their end. Definitely do not recommend if you value customer service or a competent booking system.

Fantastic experience: The level of professionalism and friendliness of the staff in this facility is amazing and in particular I want to thank Nigel (sorry if I get your name wrong!) for my first attempt and for being there for me to pick his brain over the weekend and Brendan (Mr Irish!) Who was very patient with me and his approachable nature made everything easier to understand and made questions a lot easier to ask. He made the course a lot of fun and even though it took me a couple of attempts before passing, I never felt daunted or silly for making mistakes. You can tell that the aim of the instructors here is to push their students to be safe, strong and confident riders and now that I am armed with a lot more knowledge and awareness, I feel ready to take on the next chapter and get out there on the road. LOOK OUT!!.

Negative experience: I am booked in for my provisional course. Three days out from the course I have an extremely bad flu, possibly covid (still awaiting test results). My course booking date is also scheduled on a NSW flood alert day. I do not own wet weather gear. I ride an auto scooter in the sunshine just for fun. I asked if I could RESCHEDULE my booking and I was told I would have to pay again. The course goes ahead in all weather events. I was offered the option to withdraw and get my money back if someone else fills my spot on a flood warning date (not likely) . . . otherwise I forfeit over $200.00!! - No compassion, no compromise. Their computer says no. Their 7 day policy says no, so that's $200 down the gurgler!!! what's wrong with people!

They obviously have a wealth of riding and teaching experience. Very friendly. The bikes are good little machines in excellent condition. Facilities are simple, clean and effective. 5 stars.

These guys will tell you things no other person can know without the experience that comes with the years and years of riding experience that they collectively hold under thier belts. Every trainer knows exactly what they're talking about and are very well practiced in the methods they teach.

Fantastic experience: The instructor I had for the learner course was very good. He was attentive and helpful, obviously knowing that some course participants have no riding experience such as myself.

Negative experience: Instructor was good. Company admin was disappointing. I had hired a motorcycle for the test, but then decided to use my postie instead. When I asked for a refund they charged me $10 as a refund fee to cover their "banking fees". What sort of bank are they operating with? Pure profiteering. Reported. Another rider showed up 5min late due to a flat tyre. We had not even began the day yet, and he was told that he has forfeited his booking and was not allowed into the course. That was a $200 loss for him which he would need to pay again on another day. The management ethos of this company is pure profit and greed. Avoid if you can.

Positive experience: No matter what your ability, you still learn something new.

Fantastic experience: Had Champo he was a great teacher, all passed the pre-learners in the class.

Positive experience: Tricky review to write, on the one hand the instructor I had for both my L and P exams was absolutely fantastic. Champo was extremely knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic towards teaching. He clearly loves teaching and instantly put everyone at ease and got us through the courses and subsequent exams. Honestly cannot praise high enough. On the other hand the school and the owner himself have a clear and pervasive agenda to sell Benelli motorbike. I called to rent a bike in advance for my Ps exam expecting to be provided with the CB125s that I'd used for my Ls exam. When I arrived I was given a Benelli bike which I found incredibly hard to ride. A more experienced rider most likely would have been fine but I really struggled with it. When I asked to swap to a CB125 the owner berrated Champo in front of all the riders and chastised me for asking. This frankly appalling behaviour to a paying customer. And just to be clear I passed the exam so this isn't me blaming the bike for a fail, I was just very taken aback by the owner's clear preference towards selling bikes rather than providing training. 11/10 for the trainer but easy 0/10 for the school/owner. Will definitely be finding someone at the RMS to report this to.

Fantastic experience: Great instructors all very experienced and we'll learned in both road knowledge and motorcycle specific knowledge. Happy to offer private tuition for this who struggle with picking up riding first off and have the option of Automatic scooters for those who are not confident on a manual or dealing with a clutch.

Fantastic experience: Great course to get inexperienced riders on a bike and riding

Negative experience: Most of the staff are Unprofessional gits. No friendly greetings, They swear through-out course, Treat all experienced returning riders like learners. Blame the riders if they forget who's arriving for a course & then don't apologise for the outburst. Some of the curriculum is dated & missing key skills for learners IMO. No refund or credit if something comes up even though you must book a month+ in advance. This is just another turnstyle business taking government contracts, exactly like job recruitment agencies... I personally don't care where you get your income from but If your staff conduct themselves like ghetto bums, no sane person should believe any skills & information they say.

Fantastic experience: Got my license here. No issues

Negative experience: Here's what happened, I came four times and was trained by excellent instructors. They were friendly, competent and I could not recommend them highly enough. During these lessons I rode the same bike provided to me by the centre and was familiar with riding it by the test - I was confident I would pass. Upon arriving to sit my test, I was denied access to riding the bike I had been granted for all of my training and instead was forced by management to use a bike twice as heavy and much older. Furthermore, I was given no explanation for this rejection. During the lead up to sitting my test I was explicitly told not to ride an unfamiliar bike but here I was being made to do it or forfeit my test date. I was lucky to pass and did so more by a combination of dumb luck and the rigorous efforts of the instructors beforehand. I cannot stress enough that the owners of this establishment were not interested in my comfort or confidence when sitting the test. I could only recommend this training centre if you owned your own bike because the instructors are indeed fabulous, but management is more concerned with your money than you passing your test comfortably.
