Fantastic experience: I highly recommend 123 Training Solutions for their HR Truck training course. I haven't driven for over 10 years and needed an HR licence to get a job in the mines. Even though I was terrible in the beginning, they never gave up on me and David in particular helped me to get to a level where I could pass the driving assessment. There is a very safe driving area in Newcastle where even beginners can practice driving a truck safely. This is why I chose 123 Training Solutions even though I live in Sydney. I would definitely come back if I need to upgrade my HR licence in the future. Thank you once again!

Fantastic experience: Graham, our instructor, was very helpful and was keen to pass on his knowledge and experience so as to make our LF Forklift Course a very positive experience. Mark, our assessor, first presented as a hard nut to crack but it turns out that he was a hard diamond. His attention to us throughout the entire assessment was outstanding and he clearly demonstrated that he was there to make sure that we progressed positively throughout the entire process. Fantastic experience: I have just completed my HR license upgrade with 123 Training Solutions, Dave was my trainer and he was fantastic, gave me all the confidence that i needed to drive a large truck which i have never driven before, he explained everything in a calm and clear manner and was very easy to relate to. The whole process was very seamless, and my assessor Shaun was very good, thorougher and tough but needed to be as trucks require a different skill to drive than a car. The information learnt was relevant with practical examples of how the subject applies to real life situations. Graham has vast experience in Dangerous Goods and how to work safely with them and he imparts this in a way which is easy to understand. Fantastic experience: During the month of September, 2022, I got my HR truck license, Forklift license & WHS White Card, all with 123 Training Solutions/Commonsense Training at Mayfield. The trainers & assessors Marcus, Mark, Graham, John…and a few other guys I can’t remember (I’m bad with names) were all helpful, professional, had plenty of patience, and are basically all round good blokes. Within a week of finishing my white card, I landed my first truck driving job. Thanks heaps, 123 Training Solutions!!

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for Adam Lewis and 123 training solutions. It was comforting to no there are people still out there who take the extra time and look at people individually. I personally have a hearing disability which requires me to wear hearing aids which means Adam had to constantly repeat himself most of the time. He never gave up on me throughout my training days and I successfully passed my course.

Fantastic experience: I was trained by paul and booked for an HR upgrade using an automatic gearbox which is a 1 day course. Personally i wish i had of booked 2 days and i advise this due to the amount of information needed while also becoming more comfortable with the vehicle. I got to use wanda at 10m long and weighing 22.5 tonnes from about 730am to 430pm when i completed my assessment. The main take away when your assessment starts, remember start up and shut down(secure vehicle) procedure, paul is also very strict about mirrors so if you dont use them youll know about it. Thanks to the team at 123 solutions.

Fantastic experience: Have done a few courses with Chris Shilling the most recent one been a DG course. Chris makes the experience extremely fun and engaging during the entire time of the course his knowledge within the transport industry makes examples and stories extremely relatable and not just a scripted document that you may get from other organisations. Would recommend 123 for any training courses you may need.

Fantastic experience: I attended the all day session to get my MR license. The morning session was a theory and practical session which included how to secure loads, where to find the load ratings and the different types of restraints used. Many other topics were also discussed including things such as essential truck operations and load limits. For the rest of the day, I drove the appropriate sized truck and was instructed on how to drive the vehicle correctly in order to sit the driving test. The instructor started out teaching me on a wide open road until I had a feel for the vehicle then we progressively went on to more challenging roads as my skills increased.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed the training, though I was fairly nervous. The constant feedback on my driving abilities and habits was rewarding and gave me confidence in the final driving test. Learning how to appreciate the size and weight of the vehicle was critical in handling a different driving technique to what I was familiar with. All these aspects were well put forward by the instructor through constant feedback and I feel I learned a lot more by that approach. Grateful for this as I was able to pass the final driving test. For the restraining load component, it was well explained and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. A great training group.

Trainers provided excellent coaching & advice, along with the right gear for the best possible training experience, not to mention their understanding & flexibility depending on your situation. If you're looking to get any kind of rigid license, 123 Training Solutions are by far the best option in the Newcastle area.
