Negative experience: Hired a 125 Honda for 9 months from the Nerang store . They shut down without any notice . Was pulled over by police for unregistered bike after 3 and a half weeks of the bike being unregistered . Still collected payment every week though . Tried to contact them to do a service for over month , as no response from them I fronted to their office to find out they had closed . Now I can't get in any contact with them other than empty promises . Would not recommend them at all .

Fantastic experience: My husband and I completed the pre learner 2 day course with G and had a wonderful experience. Using their online booking system was very simple. G is a highly knowledgeable and patient instructor with a good sense of humour which made the course less tense with having icebreakers. We had travelled from the Sunshine Coast to complete the course and we are so glad we did. The training experience was 10/10 from the booking process to passing the course. I was the only female out of the class and wasn't made to feel any different from the rest of the group. Thank you Top Rider & G !!!

Due to my absence from riding I had to get my licence renewed and can say it was definitely worthwhile attending the RE L, Ride Time and RE O courses. I'm now happily and confidently back on my bike and enjoying the confidence that Top Rider has given me in taking to the road. Thanks guys.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with these guys - would 100% recommend women wanting to learn to go with any other company available. The instructor I had on the first day spent more time making wife jokes than helping me learn. During the introduction he was nice to all the guys and then when he got to me the first thing he said was 'well I couldn't teach my wife to drive a manual car but even she can ride a Grom now so hopefully you'll be able to learn!' Disgustingly obvious misogyny was the theme of the day - constantly undermining my confidence and saying how I was the worst in the class in front of everyone (because I was driving slowly as it was my first time on that kind of bike). He continued to tell me I was underperforming and was the worst throughout the day, despite the fact that one of the guys there completely lost control of his bike and drove it off the learning area into the side gully. His response to that was to support him to get his bike back on the road and tell him he was unlucky for making a mistake and was doing a 'great job all round'. The whole experience was a slap in the face reminder of why women find it so difficult to feel comfortable in motorcycle spaces, and has made it difficult for me to get my lisence because there's absolutely no way I'll be giving these people any more of my money.

Fantastic experience: Mark was really good, he went over time with our private lesson last year to ensure I would re gain confidence and pointed out how I could get better control of the motorcycle due to both hips being replaced, he is very patient and full of great tips, info and skills, I trust and really appreciated his extra help - I am a much better rider thanks to Mark!

Very friendly (Mark and rest of the staff) teaches you everything properly, if you get confused, he will take his time to explain it all thoroughly to help you understand if your having any trouble. I highly recommend them for your Qride lessons!

Fantastic experience: So I'm a rider that has a RE open license that was looking for some extra help with some slow speed manoeuvres. I had Mark as my instructor, and he was able to guide me step by step with all my flaws and gave me good direction on how I should improve. He was very patient and spent the time explaining why I should do each step. If you're a returning rider, a current rider with some skill or a new rider I would recommend you go to get some extra training. Mark was a wonderful instructor and I'm sure the other team members would take the same care in teaching their students. I'm definitely coming back for my open licence test in a few months Thank you again for all the help during the lesson, the tips were invaluable.

Fantastic experience: This course has saved my live at least 3 times . Anybody can ride a motorcycle but not everyone can stop in time . These guys are truly inspiring and talented and very patient. They will teach you to do an emergency stop that will not only save your life but possibly someone else’s as well . What you learn here will stay with you for the rest of your motorbike days and will automatically be accessible from your brain to your hand brake in a split second when the time comes and that’s very cool .

Fantastic experience: Having only ever learnt how to ride by YouTube and with friends, the courses by Top Rider really gave me an extensive understanding of both the theory and practical elements of motorcycle riding. The instructor, Mark, took his time and made sure I understood and was comfortable with each module as we went. Over the two day course I went from being able to make a bike move, to being able to ride a bike confidently and above all, safely!

Fantastic experience: I had the best day yesterday … getting my RE Bike Licence!! I was the only one getting tested on the day, so was a little nervous. Jeff, my assessor, was amazing. He made me feel totally at ease and it was a real personal experience. The day consisted of not only being assessed, but also being taught on how I can improve on being a better rider. Even though I was the only one there, Jeff went through the process in a very professional manner - covering all elements needed to pass the course. I cannot speak highly enough of this business. Fantastic experience: There were some term that I couldn’t book a course through the website but they now have a new owner and new location. Two years ago I had a training course, after that I took an RE course and I got my restricted licence. The training course is very helpful for someone who is not confident on streets as you will go to streets on the test anyway. Mark is a warm and helpful person, I am happy that I have got my open license with him.

I'm not kidding when I say that just those 2 days of training have transformed the way I ride my bike, and now not only do I feel like a way more confident rider, I'm also having a lot more fun riding because riding smoother, faster, and safer. You don't know what you're doing wrong until someone shows you and helps you feel what it's like to do it right, and as a lover of 2 wheels this could potentially save our life one day. 100% do it.

Fantastic experience: I went here for my pre-learner course it was a great course well run and gained alot of knowledge and discovered some misconceptions i had, they supply helmet, gloves and motorbike which is good. Will defenitly be back to do my RE course. They also have good helmet and gloves packages to buy. They didnt have my size in stock but got it in very quick within a day or 2.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time, had a very good instructor who was very thorough, made sure the first timers understood what was being taught, rode one of their bikes for the course which were all late model motorcycles, overall very happy with the course.

Fantastic experience: Back for the R Open after 2 years. I must be lucky that booked at the time for a private course! Tom was a great instructor! But don't forget, after the R Open, don't make it the last time training with Top Rider. They also have many advance courses, such as cornering and braking. Make it a plan for being a better rider and safer rider on road!

Negative experience: After having a great instructor (guy that rides with his dog in the side car) here for my RE O course, I wanted to come back to do my R course even though it’s one of the most expensive courses offered. Mid way through the course the instructor realised that the front indicators on the bike I brought were faulty and wouldn’t let me continue the course, which is fair enough. However no solution was offered to get me through the course, I was not allowed to pay for and use one of their bikes, and was given absolutely no help to overcome the situation. They were happy to tell my my day was over and take my $200 with not even a discounted rate if I was to return to redo the course. Clearly I won’t be returning and will be booking my next course with a company that values their students upgrading their licenses over taking their money.
