Fantastic experience: Great place to go to if you want to learn all the basics of motorcycle riding whether you know a little or a lot. They will teach you well and offer lots of assistance throughout the course. I did my L's there and I loved my instructor so much, absolute joy who offered me lots of tips and even helpful facebook groups if you don't have someone to help you ride.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my re test along with 2 lessons and my learners here with Jess and she was fantastic at every moment. Both her and Dean preface that everything they do is about riding safely and this was shown through each of the sessions on both me and any other riders. I had which never been on a bike previously so they made me feel a lot more comfortable starting out through to this point. Fantastic experience: Just finished my 2 day pre learners course, the instructor Brad and owner Dean are absolute legends, patient and understanding. The trainers are passionate and determined on teaching eager students the skills they need to get on to their learners liscence and return for the RE liscence once confident, they also offer the course required to upgrade to an R liscence, no matter your skill level you will feel comfortable and confident with the aid of the highly skilled trainers. Reasonable pricing, afterpay available worth every dollar for the freedom of being on a bike. Cannot recommend highly enough, if you have been waiting and wanting to get your learners for a motorbike NOW is your time don't sleep on it any longer! You will not regret your decision!

Fantastic experience: I did my RE L as well as my RE O with motorcycle rider training Australia and couldn’t have had a better experience. I completed my RE L with brad who a provided great training, knowledge as well a few laughs throughout the day which really helped make it a relaxing experience while still learning a lot. I also did one on one training sessions through my learners period which were a great help. Dean and Jess were really good during the couple of sessions I have I liked the straight forward approach while still creating a relaxed environment. If you want to learn from the best go to the best. I walked away with my RE O roughly a month ago with heaps of confidence while still being humble about the dangers and also just how much I have to learn about riding thanks to motorcycle rider training Australia. I could not recommend dean and his team enough they do a great job.

Fantastic experience: Look if you want a tick-and-flick place, don't come here. Dean and his team are passionate people who actually care about improving and advancing future riders. Yeah, they are very serious in the course (I've done pre-learners), but it's not them being mean. They just want you to understand that a bike can be a ton of fun but can also take your life, and you need to respect the skills required to ride safely. I will be doing further training and my re-exam with them.

I'd recommend this very highly - especially the 2hr intro course that set me up well to complete the full pre-L course. Fantastic experience: Firstly, I’d like to commend Tamara on her patience and understanding of my situation and being so accommodating towards my needs in booking the Pre Learner course. Secondly, I’d never touched a bike before and somehow in two days Brad not only got me going on one but built up my confidence and comfort in riding with further patience and understanding. Clearly communicated what we needed to do at all stages of the pre-learner's test and was great at assisting if one of the participants needed extra assistance. Fantastic experience: Never been so glad I listened to my beautiful partner- so grateful I went with these guys. I just completed my Q-Rider learners with Jess, and had an absolute amazing time. It was a really positive learning environment, they really set you up to succeed here with lots of opportunity for questions, reassurance, double/triple/quadruple checking. Never properly ridden a bike before this, and Jess walked us through the whole process from how to approach, set up and riding. I found her teaching style really helped to build my confidence as well, and by the end of the course I went from not trusting my bike, to respecting it and feeling more assured. The Professional staff made learning very easy, the course was step by step accurate and the trainers were able to effectively and efficiently able to correct any minor learning error's. Fantastic experience: I’ve recently completed the Learners and RE courses at Motorcycle Rider Training and can’t recommend it enough. I organised it with a mate of mine as something fun to do, and it was incredible. Both times we had Brad instructing and he was brilliant. Genuine and helpful, humorous but knowledgeable, and wanted to make sure everyone would succeed. His delivery was great, and his ability to interweave personal experience into the course was amazing. Dean was also incredibly helpful as well as Jess, the team here are the best! Fantastic experience: My thoughts prior to the course was it was going to be a long two days. Training courses can put you to sleep, but it totally depends on the trainer on how engaged you become. Brad instantly made us at ease and did a fantastic job. We all left a whole lot wiser and are on our way to being safe and responsible riders. I will definitely be back for the next stage once I have some experience on the road. All of the team here are so patient and respectful, and know how to keep things light. What a great business. Fantastic experience: Just the best learning experience... Compared to anywhere for anything. I had Jess who was funny, down to Earth and most importantly, helpful. I was very anxious going for my pre-learners training courses (2 days over a weekend), thinking everybody would know everything, and I knew nothing but had to do it.... I don't know why I chose this place, I think just because they were the closest in date for a weekend course... I knew nothing, some others in my group knew a little and others nothing as well, but we were all treated in the same way and by the end I felt very comfortable to get my learners thanks to these guys. The place itself is nice, comfortable, friendly; even the little interaction you have with the other instructors, you know they are great, they teach you with respect, and an approach that makes it a fun experience. If you have never seen a bike but want to learn how to ride one, well maybe think a bit :p but go with Motorcycle Rider Training Australia with the pre learner course, not even the pre pre learner course and feel at ease. Bring a long sleeved shirt, joggers pants and they will supply everything else, or whatever extra gear you need (and they provide the bike), which did not seem to be the case with other bigger places. They were also really great about an error I made with late full payment, just nothing but good words to say about these people. Lastly, they know their stuff, they will teach you everything because they have learned through experience, and want you to learn about the bikes, gear, general checks, safety and anything else you throw at them so you not only will pass the learner test but will then begin the rest of your journey safely. All in all, my general feelings and thoughts about what a "biker" is, have drastically changed over these last couple months talking with work colleagues and now actually learning from experienced riders. There is just such a great community out there that are very welcome to anyone that shows them the respect they deserve. Thanks all, I feel I will probably book in for a general ride (where they will lend you a bike if you haven't got one) for some safe, fun. on road learning after I shortly do the exam which I have 100% confidence can easily be obtained if you learn here. Then I'll probably buy the bike I've been eyeing off with complete commitment and be able to practice on the road with others using the knowledge THIS group gave me. Thanks again everyone - Scott

Fantastic experience: Just completed my pre-learn course with this crew and I could not bring any aspect of their teachings to a fault. I’ve done my fair share of courses like this in my life and often by the 3rd hour you begin falling asleep, but not with Motorcycle Rider Training Australia. These guys keep the session engaging without being over the top and keep the information clear and concise. My instructor, Brad, was an absolute legend. He made it feel like one of your mates was teaching you, which is comforting and relaxing. Everything about the physical location is cosy and well designed. Tucked away in an industrial area of Banyo, so you feel like you’re not being watched by the public. For a small organisation they are doing everything right, from website design, price, accessibility, overall tidiness and not to mention the staff. I was lucky enough to meet all 4 employees of this organisation and they are all very inviting and respectful people with your best interests at heart. Highly recommend - the best in the business.

Fantastic experience: Having done my RE: L's at another local QRide center, the difference between MRT and others is night and day. Recently had my RE: O's course and I was treated with the utmost respect and received a truckload (motorcycle load?) of knowledge, skills and training in just a single day. I absolutely recommend MRT if you want to: 1) Have a blast 2) Be instructed by people that actually care for you and your safety 3) Ride some cool motorcycles 4) Be supported by knowledgeable instructors 5/5, 10/10 - You guys do great work - it is very obvious you love your job and motorcycles and it is infectious. Fantastic experience: Went to the 2-hour learner course with no previous experience. I had a load of fun and will definitely be back. Went from nervous to having a blast, and time went so quick.

Negative experience: I attempted the pre-learner course here. As a new learner, I felt as though Dean was impatient when teaching. I was made to feel anxious during the course, and felt like mistakes I made were criticised rather than addressed in a way that I could learn from. Also know that if their motorcycles are dropped or damaged during the course, you'll be liable to pay for damages. This is not the case with other providers who have insurance to cover this. I'm not sure why they've lied about the insurance option in their reply - if this is new, that's great, but it wasn't an option when I booked. Go with another Q-ride provider instead.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience, I went in feeling very uncertain and nervous about riding, but the team that took us on and through the last three days really made it so much easier! The humour, the banter, the doggies , the clear instructions, the passionate encouragement. All I can say is THANK YOU!! and see you in three months for my next license step!

Fantastic experience: This Q-Ride Facility is absolutely the best! Just passed my RE: L this week with Brad as our instructor and he was absolutely fantastic. I came into the lesson with zero exposure and experience on motorbikes and I don’t have any family members who ride. This course is definitely doable for those with no experience. Brad was very accommodating to each learners’ skill level working with us to improve our confidence and he is very reassuring always letting us know we can take the activities at our own pace. Fantastic experience: Fantastic! Having my pre learner provider shut down and not being completely satisfied with my RE provider I was on the hunt for a new place to get my R’s. I’m so glad I trusted their amazing reviews, I was immediately greeted by Dean who makes you feel right at home and helps calm the nerves. The entire course was presented efficiently, with thorough detail and a calm demeanour. If you’re looking for a welcoming environment and super friendly team that can actually teach (I saw some shocking stuff at my re’s) then look no further! It’s no wonder they’ve got 5 stars, I’d make it 6 if I could.

Fantastic experience: Went for the pre learner rel course this july, the staff was extremely helpful in explaining and demonstrating tasks. They were understanding in mistakes made and gave nothing but positive motivation to keep trying. They also gave information about basic serviceing you needed to do on a motorbike, basic protective gear you should wear and what you should be looking for on buying on a begginer bike. Great experience will come back for my restricted liscense

Fantastic experience: Just attained my Learners from these guys! Absolutely great classes and super insightful. I was really nervous even though I grew up on motorcycles, they beat some old habits out of me with a smile and some light light mocking which really helped me settle into the bike. They make it feel like you're just mates, having a good time and learning the basics of biking. I passed with a 29/30 on the test just because they taught me well. Absolutely recommend

Just a very welcoming and fun experience the second you walk through the door. Having never ridden a motorbike before I never felt uncomfortable as everyone is treated equally during training. Given great tips and pointers for riding and advice on safety gear. Anyone needing to upgrade license or do their pre learners 110% recommend booking now. You won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: I had a great time watching my adult kids receive pre-learner / beginner training from Jess at MRT in Banyo today. As an instructor myself for Stay Upright in the late 80's I was able to appreciate the methodology that was used to get them safely through brake & clutch control, then steering. The methodology is much the same but has evolved and I particularly liked the clever way Jess planted the counter-steering 'seed', by telling riders that when they looked to the left to turn, the bike would fall in to the corner. I had great memories of the huge smiles from students when they know they've nailed the basics. Jess's nerve-calming banter would serve her well in any dad-joke competition. Thanks Jess and Dean.

Fantastic experience: I did my Unrestricted licence course with Jess yesterday. She did a great job, the facilities are very good and the bikes were very easy to ride for someone who had never ridden a non-LAMS bike before.

Fantastic experience: I've done both my learner and my RE here and it was such an amazing experience. Dean & Jess are the 2 best instructors you can get in my opinion. They give you all the tips to ride safely and confidently. As a non English speaker (even though I am not that bad) they were completely clear so that proves they give you the best explanations for everything. I will never be thankful enough to them for teaching me so much. I am now travelling across Australia on my own and man what a pleasure !!!

Fantastic experience: Great instructor, brand new gear and bikes, friendly and professional. I had a 1-on-1 session after not touching a bike in 5-6yrs and Dean really helped to build my confidence back up. After 2hours starting back with the most basic functions and riding around the track in a road simulation, I'm 100x more confident than when I arrived at 9am. I had a helmet with me today but needed to borrow gloves and a jacket (no extra charge). The equipment I borrowed was in a fantastic condition and the gear laid out for the next session (pre learner) was of equal quality. Clean, comfortable and good quality. Dean definitely knows what he's doing as a riding instructor and had me repeat several steps to ensure I'm doing it safely. He's friendly and professional and I'd recommend both him and this business to anyone looking at their Qride or a refresher course. His colleague, who I didn't catch her name, was also very helpful with some tricks and tips. Thanks team for looking after me today. I'll see you a again soon for some further training.
