Fantastic experience: Laila is a fantastic instructor. I passed my driving test on my first attempt. Every lesson was focused on building my skills and confidence. And, I highly recommend Laila to anyone learning to drive. Thank you for being such a fantastic instructor...
Negative experience: I’ve never left a review before, however the recent reviews left really helped me realise what happened was not okay or normal. This was not a case of ‘tough love’. I was put in unsafe situations. I could elaborate on specifics however the main point is that I believe no learner should be treated with disrespect, rudeness and yelling. If you have had lessons with Laila recently (as a clear pattern is occurring in more recent reviews) I want you to know that she was acting unprofessionally, nobody should be hit while driving or yelled at as I and others have been. I would highly recommend for your own well-being and physical safety to seek a driving instructor else where. Clearly Laila has been amazing in her reviews from 4+ years ago however as of right now I felt it was the right thing to do for others to leave this review. To add some context, I experienced almost everything others have mentioned in more recent reviews (that I had not seen before my lesson), I am a young learner I am a quiet and shy person. I held back tears during my lesson. I was not driving in a way that warranted any of her responses. One example is her yelling “down, down down” in an aggressive manner in reference to the indicator (I thought she meant drive down) she gave no further communication. It was quite shocking for me. Thank you for reading, good luck to everyone. :)
Negative experience: I don't not recommend using this nasty, down grading woman. She yells and screams at new learns doing their best, while grabbing q hold of the steering wheel and not teaching them the basics before they start to drive! (review on a friends behalf) absolutely horrendous behaviour
Negative experience: If I could give no stars I would.... very very dissapointed and glad i never have to see or deal with this lady again she was very very rude, condescending, impatient, anxious, and just wasn't a good experience.. had her keep grabbing the steering wheel when I had full control of the vehicle which is very dangerous and she was teaching me things that I was told not to do from other instructors so feel she is setting me and anyone else she teaches up to fail in actual licence test.. as by the law and book the other instructors are 100% correct but when u have some lady yelling at you constantly to drive this way or that way i kept driving the way i was taught obviously not going to do things i know aint right so as u can imagine the entire hour was a nightmare she had me doing the same lap for the entire hour which was Boring and tiring.. honestly better to go elsewhere she wouldn't just let me drive and learn as I go...her condescending nastiness just made me shut down like it does most people and has set me back again in confidence on the road so really regret using her also being told all the other drivers are crazy and my enemy I just thought WTH is she on about I get being vigilant and mindful of other drivers and knowing some drivers are unpredictable on the road but to call all drivers crazy and enemies Isn't the right way to teach people to share and drive with other drivers on the road you should never have that attitude toward other drivers so feel like I definitely needed to warn people about this lady if your ok with being yelled at, put in dangerous situations having someone grabbing and yanking steering wheel constantly and talking down to you and teaching you things you will fail your rms driving test for your ps and trying to take all your road confidence in one hour lesson go to her by all means but I think learners deserve better respect from instructors your paying to build your road confidence, skills and defensive driving awareness and she just doesn't fit the bill.. that was my experience hoping others don't go through what I went through today as reading other reviews others have had a bad experience too with her.. can see why she had availability and no where else does...
Fantastic experience: Laila has taught me and both my sons now and we all passed our driving tests first time. Such a lovely person and driving teacher. Thank you very much Laila!
