Fantastic experience: While reading through plenty of these reviews, there are many negatives regarding Paul being very critical. I recently completed my driving exam, and prior to doing the 4 lessons I had very little road knowledge from my parents. He was very straightforward with what you need to amend to make the testers happy, and to pass the test. While being told you are doing something wrong is a hit in the guts, I felt it was necessary to push myself to improve. I did 3 lessons or so, and passed. Paul also familiarised all the routes the testers take you, so you feel more more comfortable on the test. I’d recommend this service, especially if you’re worried about passing. I would’ve definitely had issues if I had not have taken a few lessons with him.

Negative experience: I recently had my first driving lesson as a person in my late twenties on a Learner's permit with the driving instructor Paul. He had no consideration that this was my first time driving on the road and took me to a quiet area that had no lane lines, which made me confused as to how much side of the road I was meant to be on. Directed me to drive down to the Lake carpark near the playground, despite that road being one giant blind spot which is daunting for a beginner driver. He made several rude and facetious remarks, which seemed like a deliberate attempt at stressing me out. He seemed to enjoy the fact that I was stressed. His instructions weren't clear or helpful. I didn't feel like I was in a situation with an instructor who made me comfortable about learning how to drive. The entire time I was tempted to park the car and walk away. I do not recommend his service.

Negative experience: i did a driving lesson with paul for $65, didn’t learn anything. we drove around for 10 minutes then pulled over and for 15 minutes i was told how i did everything wrong from his list and how i would fail. we then drove around for another 20 minutes while he looked out the window gave me no feedback besides “look in your mirrors” every once in awhile and would give directions as i was on the corner or roundabout. he also sat on his ipad picking a song to play, ANSWERED a personal phone call through the car and insulted my career choice. we then stopped at vicroads with 15 minutes left to pay and tell me how i will fail again. definitely in it only for money, would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful lesson from Paul. My driving test wouldn't be so smooth without his help.
