Fantastic experience: Doug is a very wise teacher, clearly outlining the precise steps to complete specific assignments in the driving exam, he says what they are looking for and how to achieve to a high standard, in the few lessons I had, he had given me all the knowledge I needed to pass my P's test first try. I would recommend, especially if you have not had any previous lessons before as without him I would of failed miserably.

Negative experience: Needs to keep religion out of it, my granddaughter felt uncomfortable

Fantastic experience: Today I had a driving lesson with Doug and I couldn’t of asked for a better instructor, doug made my 1 hour lesson feel very relaxed yet still well instructed and professional, Doug made me feel confident and comfortable and has given me that bit more confidence I needed for my driving test. Fantastic experience: Doug has a very professional approach to he's teaching and is focused on achieving hi standards with his driving lessons, my son has come along way in just two lessons and are thrilled to see this sort of progress. Highly recommend this training school.

Negative experience: Arrived at our house and beeped his car horn till my daughter went out. Non stop judgemental talk about religion and telling my daughter she should go to church. Reached across and beeped the horn at a relative while she was driving. I want a refund! Do not use this company!

Negative experience: 0 out of 5 ! Can't shut up about religion. You shouldn't push or talk about religion while working like the way you do! It's not professional should lose licence to test drivers

Fantastic experience: My daughter didn’t think to have any professional driving lessons. However, after only 2 lessons with Blue Wombat she nearly got a perfect score for her test. She felt very safe and comfortable with Doug, and best of all learned a lot in a short amount of time. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Doug is an instructor with in depth knowledge of driving test in NSW, and very experienced as well. Had a prep lesson with him right before my test, we went for a drive around to get familiar with the routes, it really helped a lot. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Super unprofessional, spent most lessons on his phone, gave me a sermon about where I will go when I die, I cancelled my next lesson and was never contacted to reschedule or even replied to

Negative experience: My daughter felt very uncomfortable being lectured to about Christianity during the lesson. So inappropriate! She found his manner unsupportive. Also, he was on his phone during the lesson, when he should have been teaching. Not recommended.

Fantastic experience: Doug is an excellent and experienced driving instructor who has a calm disposition while teaching. He taught me simple and straightforward techniques to master the manouevres in the test which will stay with me for life, and I got my Ps on the first go after only 4 lessons with him. Can't recommend him enough! Thanks for all your help Doug

Negative experience: The instructor kept pushing God on me and asking where I thought I would go when I died... DURING THE LESSON WHILE I WAS DRIVING! He spent most of the time on his phone and didn't teach me vital lessons for my test, which I learnt after I got a new instructor.

Fantastic experience: Both my teenage sons went through Blue Wombat to prepare for their driving test. Pleased to say both boys were well equipped with the necessary skills to get their driving license first attempt. I feel the skills they learnt through the school added to their competency to be good safe drivers. I recommend Blue Wombat highly to anyone wanting to get their drivers license and/or the finer details required for competent driving on the road!
