My name is Grant Schmidt and I am an expertly qualified Driving Instructor who holds a Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport - Car Driving Instruction), a current paid employment Working with Children Blue Card and Senior First Aid qualifications.
Additionally I have ten years experience as a former Police Officer and three years as a volunteer for the PCYC Braking the Cycle Program training disadvantaged youth and mature age learners essential driving skills to obtain their driver licences.

Fantastic experience: After five lessons with another instructor and three failed attempts to get her license it left my daughter feeling very discouraged, so we decided to look elsewhere and reached out to Grant. After just two lessons and a mock test, my daughter passed with zero errors! I cannot recommend Grant highly enough. Fantastic experience: We were lucky to randomly choose Buderim Driving School from a web search. My daughter had an initial lesson with Grant and she immediately felt at ease with him. Grant is calm, friendly and a great teacher. My daughter and continued to have lessons with him early on in her driving and then again leading up to her test. First and foremost Grant taught her to be a safe driver, in addition he has excellent knowledge of the testing requirements and procedures. My daughter was so well prepared by Grant that she passed first go with no errors! More importantly, the safety techniques Grant taught to her in the first few lessons, she continues to use as second nature. Grant and Sandra run a great business that is personal and efficient. Communication is excellent and they really helped me to understand how to help my daughter to learn and to navigate the test procedures. I cannot recommend Buderim Driving School highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Grant was an amazing driving instructor. As someone who was a very anxious driver at first Grant was patient and encouraging which boosted my confidence. Fantastic experience: Absolutely positive experience with Buderim Driving School. Grant is an exceptional instructor who is highly motivated to develop the safest, best-informed and most competent drivers around. He is patient, pragmatic, forward-thinking, committed and most importantly, he is utterly safety-focused. My eldest just successfully passed his P license and my second son is now learning with Grant too. Both very different learners and both very happy with Grant's lessons. Fantastic experience: Grant has been a fantastic instructor for our daughter. Taking over from us after only two parenting lessons, we could see the real benefits of an experienced, knowledgeable instructor. Fantastic experience: Grant was so great with Chace, his encouragment, temprement with Chace was wonderful. Keeping us informed of how he was doing and explaining any issues. When we had problems with the booking platform he went over and above to help us sought things out. Chace felt comfortable to ask questions and Grant explained things really well. We would happily recommend Grant for any new driver.
