Motorcycle Training with Silvio

Fantastic experience: On top of being an amazingly kind person, Silvio is truly a one of a kind mentor. He was always patient while also encouraging me to feel confident in my abilities. He has made me feel not just confident in my riding but also completely safe on the road. Couldn't have done it without him. I highly highly recommend him to anyone wishing to learn to ride.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible instructor. Payed for 4 lessons in advance. Missed one lesson and he cancelled the rest on me. Didn't refund my money. DONT BOOK WITH HIM. So not worth it.

Silvio is a brilliant instructor and structures his lessons around his students abilities, honing in on weak spots and providing the advice required to make you a precise and confident rider. I’d definitely recommend MTWS to anyone thinking about getting their license.

Negative experience: Booked in for a Sunday with Silvio and was raining so he called it off which is fine. I then had booked in for a different Sunday which due to a family emergency I had to try move 3 days in advance Silvio was unapologetic and told me to find a different instructor

Fantastic experience: If you want to learn to ride a bike then I cannot recommend Silvio enough. His methods are extremely effective and he does not just teach you to pass the test he really teaches you what you need to know to ride a bike competently and confidently. His attention to detail and his patience with making sure you are happy and comfortable are amazing and his knowledge of riding is first class! Thank you Silvio and I’ll see you for my R class in September next year my friend!

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed with Silvio as an instructor for my license. He was very knowledgeable and took me from being very much an early stage beginner right through to passing the test the first go. He was always punctual and knew exactly what skills I needed to learn and repeat over the weeks. He used many and varied routes to keep me on my toes. Fantastic experience: I did my RE licence through Silvio and one year later went back to him for my R. Got it first go That's partly because I rode a LOT of km's in that year but also because Silvio knows the little things you need to focus on to get through. I also think it helps that he has a good reputation with the examiners….ie they know he produces competent riders. Puts you in a favourable light before you start the test.

Negative experience: Never got a chance to ride with him .. so the rating is only on his attitude. Booked a quick ride with him as a tentative maybe if I was still going to be here. Got a call from work as an Emergency Services Officer and had to get on the next plane to go back. Sent a message to Silvio within 24 hours of making the booking to let him know that I wasnt going to be able to make it and can I rebook. His message was simply "$60 cancellation or you call someone else. Your Choice". I cant judge his training, only that the guy has no manners. Called someone else, before the plane took off. Will give those guys a review on their ability to give a lesson. FYI business owners, if you hear someone say "I am on call and should be able to make (certain time) it, but I will call if I am not able to" and the business owner says "ok" then please, dont try and extort people with bullish concellation fees that you make up after the fact. EDIT : Please read his response. I think it underlines what I said.

Fantastic experience: Silvio is a magnificent instructor. He takes the time to explain safe riding practices and ensures he gives you timely feedback whilst riding so you can learn as quickly as possible. I have used him for both my restricted and unrestricted license; he is very knowledgeable of the courses the accessor's use and I was able to comfortably complete the test with flying colours. The lessons he has taught me I continue to apply to every day riding and am able to ride confidently and safely. Highly recommend learning with him!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Silvio, I passed my R-E class test first try. The only shame about passing is that it of course means I no longer need to Ride with Silvio on a once a week basis. Not only do you receive quality instruction and teaching but you'll have fun along the way. Working as a teacher myself it is easy to see if somebody is genuine and if they're not. Fantastic experience: Ive always loved motorcycle and always wanted to learn how to ride but after a bad experience with an instructor about 3 years ago i was always scared to learn how to ride again and scared I'd get another bad instructor. However about 3 months ago i heard about Silvio thur a friend and he was highly recommended. So 2 months ago i booked my first lesson with Silvio. At the start i was absolutely rubbish. I was so scared and so nervous but lesson by lesson Silvio helped me to develop the confidence and skills and knowledge to ride. Today i had my test and im happy to say i passed first time but i dont think this would have been possible without such an amazing instructor. Silvio i can't thank you enough for teaching me

He guided me through the petrifying experience of going above 40 with an unshakeable calm and patient style (which I did not deserve). Fantastic experience: i trained with Sylvio about 5-6 years ago to get my R-E class licence. I can say Silvio is so friendly and nice. Above all he is very patient! I was a slow and anxious learner on the motorcycle and did a lot of lessons because i was very un-coordinated and had trouble focusing on rides. But, in the end i passed my test on the first try! I also did lessons with him on a 650CC a couple of times too, but decided not to sit the test as the new LAMS rules were introduced so i didn't need an open class licence for the 650 i wanted to ride in the end :) He is cool!

Fantastic experience: Having recently returned from a trip to Thailand where I had enjoyed the freedom of riding my brother's small scooter, I decided that a similar transport might be useful here in Perth. I decided on a Piaggio Fly 150 ie from The Scooter Shop in Fremantle. I required some training so Silvio became my istruttore. Friendly, assertive and always on time, a master of the road with a passion for bikes which is infectious. It was surprising how quickly he transformed me from Bali to Rome, made passing that dreaded test a breeze. My kids are looking forward to their turn to learn to ride. Grazie Silvio
