Fantastic experience: I came to instructor Afifa as an anxious beginner and not much time to attempt my test before moving overseas. Her lessons were always comprehensive and easy to follow. She understands and cares for her students and how to best help them grow. I felt myself improve with each lesson and eventually passed my test on my first try. I highly recommend Afifa to anyone who wants to become a safe and confident driver.

Fantastic experience: Afifa taught my son and did an excellent job. She really knows what she's doing, and her objective is always to make sure that students are going to be safe on the road, not just pass the test. Afifa explained things very clearly to my son, and also helped me to be a more effective driving supervisor, to reinforce good habits. I very happy to recommend Afifa and Embark Driving School.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with Afifa at Embark Driving School. Despite holding a full license from another country, I approached Embark for assistance in converting it to an Australian license. In my opinion, Afifa’s approach was largely ineffective. Her sessions focused excessively on theory with minimal practical driving, and I rarely drove on main roads. Additionally, her frequent distractions and anxious demeanor hindered my confidence. She even mentioned that other customers had similar complaints and canceled their lessons. Given the abundance of 5-star Google reviews for her lessons, I wonder why more unsatisfied customers aren’t sharing their experiences to help the community. Not sharing honest feedback does a disservice to future students. After several unproductive sessions, I switched to a different driving school where the instructor helped me regain confidence and successfully convert my license. I do not recommend this driving school for your lessons and suggest seeking a more effective school to get better value for your time and money. I hope this feedback is taken professionally and used to reflect on and improve your services for future customers.

Fantastic experience: Afifa taught me to drive more than 20 years ago and is now teaching my both daughters. She is precise and punctual. I particularly appreciate her focus on blind spots, which I feel saves lives. She takes her time to explain in detail what every learner needs to know.

Fantastic experience: I’m beyond lucky to have found Afifa. As a slightly older student, I had so much anxiety about driving that had piled up over the years. Afifa has a very gentle and straightforward approach, explains all the important details. I had a lesson with another instructor from a different company who assumed that because I’m 28 I will automatically know what to do (which is very much not the case!). Afifa starts from the basics and I always feel comfortable asking her to repeat things. With her It’s not about just passing the test - it’s about being a safe driver - and that’s what matters most. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend embark driving school. Afifa was extremely patient and professional the whole way through. I was very nervous to start driving but with her teaching approach nothing felt like it was difficult to achieve she guides you with ease throughout the whole drive. Fantastic experience: Ive held my driving licence for 4 years but it took a lot of courage for me to drive, was always terrified of the idea that i had to pass a test. I realised when driving with my parents, its only about if we can get to our destination in one piece. After meeting Afifa she was able to correct my old driving habits and drill in safety measures allowing me to be confident with the decisions I make while driving. I booked a driving test quickly before my holidays so it was not in the area i know. Fantastic experience: I had Afifa as My driving instructor and she taught me how to drive safely in any situation and to be aware of my surroundings when driving. Also the best and correct way to drive on the road with the right technique. I have now got my Ps and I am safely driving on the road on my own still implementing everything she taught me to a tea. So I really reccomend this driving school as they make sure there students drive with caution and confidence to drive on the road well on your own, safely.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Embark Driving School! Passed my test on the first try!! I did all my hours with my driving instructor Afifa who was very clear and concise when teaching me how to drive. She made sure that i was learning and improving with each lesson, whilst also learning how to be a safe driver!! She never pushed me into something i wasnt ready for and had really made sure i knew the fundamentals of what i was doing. If i struggled with something (for example reverse parking) she would go over it with me with props (toy cars, drawing on ipad) so that i could see all the steps visually in order to execute the manoeuvre, which was really helpful as I’m a visual learner. Afifa went above and beyond in preparing me for my driving test, ensuring that i understood everything that i needed to know driving wise to what the testers are looking for also. With all that being said I passed my test WITH FULL MARKS on the first go and I couldnt be more grateful to have been blessed with such a great driving instructor!! Know that youre making a great decision by chosing to learn with this driving school!

She won't sugar-coat anything, you will get the feedback right on your face (good and bad). That is Afifa's style of instructing.
