Fantastic experience: The driving instructors are extremely patient and professional. My instructor (Solli) went out of his way to arrange lessons in advance ensure that I could learn quickly and confidently, driving down all the way from the north side to where I live (Weston Creek). Would highly recommend for both inexperienced and somewhat experienced learners.

Negative experience: I would not recommend him.I took my driving lessons with him but I didn’t even learn a thing from him. And when i talked with him about my final class he said you have to take 10 more classes which i have already taken 10 classes with him. No proper guidance and very unprofessional.

Negative experience: Unfortunatelly absolutelly would not recommend. Prepaid lessons was the worst decission as the instructor was calling the shots in regards to appointment time and regulary changing them at short notice. Additionally 1 hour paid lessons never went for that long. One was even 35 min. Very unprofessional service with constant customer follow up. Take your business elswhere as there is plenty of driving schools to choose from.

Fantastic experience: I live in Red Hill 2603, I 100% recommend Progressive Driving School. Today I got my P plates, I drive manual and have been owning my own car, since having my Learners. And Sulman, I don't know if I've spelt his name correct, is one of the best driving instructors I had, he's calm, relaxed and I found it great doing all my competence with him, as well as talking about his automotive experiences in Australia and UAE.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Progressive ACT driving school. When I first started driving lessons back in 2020 was the first time I drove a car and I was petrified. I wasn’t confident about driving as I was very scared, but my driving instructor (Umair) was very (VERY) patient, knowledgeable, accomodating and kind. I don’t remember how many lessons I needed but I could get them in packages which was helpful. Anyway, the experience was very positive and easy overall, now over 2 years later I have my green P’s and I’m a confident and safe driver. Thank you Progressive ACT and Umair for being such a great driving school and instructors.

Negative experience: The instructor was hella impatient - audibly sighing and flicking a pen and asking questions like “why do you always do xyz” - what do I need you for if I’m a perfect driver already? Complete lack of professionalism and sensitivity (please stop calling your students “terrible”), I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and suggest others do the same P.s. now I’m looking through other very positive reviews and they do look kind of fake ‍♀️

My instructor Umair was very honest but helpful in addressing where my current needs as a learner was when I started taking lessons with him. But not the kind to patronise the student - he will explain clearly and calmly how to correct your driving mistakes. A calm driving instructor is paramount because as a learner, you not only have to overcome your lack of competence with driving, but your nerves as well. A paying customer should never have to put up with rude and impatient instructors. So After 4 previous instructors, driving on the road finally made sense, and my journey was quite pleasant to be honest! Many thanks to Umair for the work and dedication he put on me over the last few months. I finished my logbook and I gained the knowledge and confidence needed so I can drive safely and responsibly.
