Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Essendon driving school for anyone learning to drive. I started as a an extremely nervous and hesitant driver but through Jacqui's knowledge, patience and expertise I was able to pass my driving test first time at Coolaroo. Her emphasis on safety also prepares learners for the skills needed to be confident solo drivers.

Fantastic experience: I had Jacqui as my instructor, and despite me having VERY limited experience, she was always encouraging and made me feel confident about passing. With just three 1-hour lessons over two weeks (Plan B), I passed on my first attempt! Thank you, Jacqui – you’re truly amazing!

Fantastic experience: i'm confident Jacqui is one of if not the best driving instructors you can find out there. It was thanks to her that I was able to pass my driving test on first go at Vicroads Deer Park. I was taught from scratch as someone who never sat in the driver's seat before, and every lesson mattered since I didn't have a vehicle to practice in outside of my lessons with Jacqui. Regardless of that, she made it work and helped me pull through. If you're looking for an instructor who is patient, observant, efficient, practical, and above all considerate and just an overall joy to work with, I can't recommend Jacqui enough!

Fantastic experience: Jacqui has always been incredibly reliable and most importantly, extremely trustworthy. She was always very strict on little mistakes, but was always professional, clam, and nice with her feedback. Although that could be stressful at times when I was learning, it was exactly what I needed and it got me to a point of being 100% ready for the test. In fact, when I was pretty much test ready, Jacqui advised for me to book shorter lessons with her (at her expense) in order for me to not be wasting my money. She genuinely wants what's best for her students. When it came to the day of the test, I passed with flying colours with the only feedback from the tester being "amazing!!!". This is entirely thanks to Jacqui and her teaching style. Massive thanks to Jacqui and I highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: I knew Jacqui when I used to live in Carlton and took my very first driving lessons with her. She was always very professional with her teaching style and keen to see my progress with driving. You could say she is a strict instructor that will push you to get that license quickly. Having gotten my license more than a year later, after moving to a different suburb and changing to a different driving instructor since the move, I can safely say I would have gotten my license sooner had I stuck with Jacqui. But for the sake of my convenience I used a different driving school and ended up having to take 15 lessons and still wasn’t feeling confident enough to take the drive test. However I went ahead and booked my test in under an exemption recently because I needed to get my license as soon as possible. Finally because my new instructor couldn’t make it to the test I called Jacqui for help. And sure enough I got my license on second attempt! Jacqui gave me the confidence boost and coaching I very much needed prior to the test with just a 90 minute lesson and I felt ready to take that test and pass. I am very thankful for Jacqui’s support getting me there. I was in desperate need to get my driving license quickly and I had been waiting so long. I would recommend Jacqui to anyone if they want to get their license quickly without the risk of having to pay for too many lessons before the test, but you will have to put in the hard work!

Fantastic experience: Coming from interstate, I found driving on melbourne freeways a bit intimidating. Fantastic experience: F1 driving school is amazing! Seriously, I went through 5 different driving schools and none of them compare to this driving school. In my first lesson with her I was taken back, all the other driving schools where like yeah... your good at this... but after my first lesson with her, she pulled me up and was like this is what you need to work on. And I was soo thankful to that cause there was no sugar coating it. She Knew what I needed to do. The way the instructor guided me and taught me was amazing, it was personalised. The fact that she showed me how to drive safely and skilled, I cant thank her enough. She supported me through it all and actually cared, where other schools they didn't. Fantastic experience: Jacqui was such an amazing driving instructor and with only 4 lessons I was able to pass my driving test with a perfect score. Not only did she help me build my confidence, but she was able to help me find that fine line between slow driving and fast driving, which in a lot of cases can be the major reason for failing. Negative experience: Jacquie helped my wife learn how to drive initially, with a package of 10 lessons. She is clearly an experienced and knowledgeable instructor and helped her progress slightly, but my wife seemed to be more nervous after driving with her. Then when it came to do her test several months later, Jacquie reneged on our final lesson and then refused to allow us to book a test (that was like 6-8 weeks down the track!) with her for unknown reasons, leaving us fairly stranded. We then had a huge ren-around trying to find other instructors in time. For these reasons, I cant really recommend her.

Fantastic experience: I must say BIGGEST thx to Jacqui, I can't believed I just passed in first time, Its a short story of mine about driving, I was really struggled drive and I had drive-phobia, I was scared of driving, one day I decide to drive. I took a trail lesson with Jacqui and I feel calm and much better while i was driving on road, then i made a decision to take a 17 lessons 45 mints package, in last few weeks, Jacqui was very patient and she knows the weakness and strength of mine, she keep ask me questions of driving test situations, such as: head-check, speed-limited and round-about( which are extremely important for life driving) and then I was really familiar with driving test, this is why I could pass the test for first time with a really good result, because the road test was 99% same with the driving lesson which we did very time. Fantastic experience: I found Jacqui and her teaching technique absolutely wonderful. In the areas that I was weak in, Jacqui was able to zero in on immediately and give me the correct instruction to fix them- which, after passing my test first go, I can say is pretty good evidence that she is a skilled professional and very effective. I decided to learn and then take my test in a manual, which is becoming harder to even find a teacher for, so I was lucky that I found Jacqui in the first place. Her patience and and generally great attitude towards getting you prepared to take your test makes the experience enjoyable, and after each lesson I could feel that I was better than the one previous. I suppose good teaching engages you like this. Jacqui is the whole package. So my honest recommendation is if you want an enjoyable minimal stress experience that gets you ready safely and completely, give Jacqui a call and go get you license-

Fantastic experience: Last week I passed my manual driving test in Carlton on the first go thanks to Jacqui! I am extremely grateful for her lessons and advice! I needed my license quick and was not happy with my previous driving school. Once I changed to F1 I learned everything I had to know. She truly really gave me that extra bit of support and we scheduled in a large amount of lessons to get ready for the driving test. I would definitely recommend Jacqui! :)

Negative experience: Do not use Jacqui from F1 driving school. She gives you misinformation so you won't pass your test and use more lessons. She advised me to do my test at Carlton as she said it had the highest pass rate. This is incorrect, it has a high fail rate and is very complicated. I switched my test to Broadmeadows which she was not happy about and tried to convince me this was a bad idea. I was told by her that you are required to reverse park into all the spaces at Vic roads Broadmeadows which is flat out lie. After 13 lessons we had not even done one 3 point turn. she was late twice (20 minutes and half an hour) once because she said she had to go to the toilet and she was hungry. I recommend Camelot driving school if you want to be treated well and get your license quickly.

Fantastic experience: It's a different approach practicing to drive here in Melbourne as an overseas driver, but Jacqui gave me a lot of helpful tips to pass the drive test.
