Fantastic experience: As a parent of a young driver who obtained his manual driver license through Kickstart (Steve) I can highly recommend him. My son went to Kickstart to polish off his skills for the test. First drive he was assessed as only requiring a small number of lessons towards understanding the test routes and requirements of the test. Me as a parent was permitted to sit in those lessons to learn the routes so practice on the test routes was possible between lessons. Steve was always prompt, encouraging, and instructive, and his extensive experience of being a VicRoads tester previously ensured my son was well informed about the test process. Steve also enforced the need to continue to be a safe driver, especially through the highest risk years after obtaining P's. Thank you Steve for your service to my son to help him obtain his license.

Fantastic experience: Steve was hectic! He really helped alot in all the areas I lacked and can really chuck someone in the deep end but it was great, cant learn as much as you would on the easy roads. Overall steve helped alot and passed under 4 lessons couldnt ask for anyone better !

I was so intimidated and anxious to get my license back after 8 years, I knew how to drive but felt nervous, and was overthinking my ability due to lack of confidence. Steve is a brilliant instructor, he was able to make me feel safe, calm and empowered behind the wheel, which were all things I thought I’d lost! Steve teaches from a place of sincerity and simplicity, he doesn’t just teach you how to pass the test, he gives you the knowledge on how to be an assertive driver, and to trust your judgment behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: Steve is an amazing person. I couldn't have gotten my DL without his guidance, support and his efforts to remove my fear of being behind the wheel. He keeps talking through the lesson to make one so comfortable that one never feels that they're doing anything big. His way of teaching is marvelous. He not only takes you on the test routes but also on the freeways and on hilly roads as well. I would highly recommend him. He also adjusts his schedule to accommodate one's special requests.

I needed to take manual vehicle lessons for my work, so I can drive the company Ute.
