Fantastic experience: Kamaljit Aunty is the best instructor. I only needed 3 driving lessons leading up to my driving test. Her way of teaching is very practical and useful as it allowed me to gain so much confidence in my driving in the span of just 1 week. She was able to work around my university and work schedule to ensure I was getting my lessons in a timely manner. During the lesson before the test she was able to clarify any areas of concern and was so helpful in easing my nerves. Due to her utmost patience and encouragement I was at ease throughout my driving test. Thanks to Kamaljit aunty and mehtab driving school I was able to clear my test on the first attempt. Hands down the best driving school!

Negative experience: I had my first driving lesson with her husband, and I have got to say he is a very humble and kind man. Extremely calm and patient throughout the drive. When I made some mistakes he calmly explained how I could correct them. Fast forward to a few weeks, yesterday I had a driving lesson with the wife. She would interfere in my driving style. How I hold the steering wheel and she also reclined my seat really back because I was "tall" (I'm literally 5'0) in the middle of the road. I was driving on the road at a speed of 70km and for some reason she held the wheel and that jolted the car. That is something driving instructors should never do as it's extremely dangerous, and can make the driver more nervous. For the rest of the drive I was traumatised. In regards to how I held the wheel. For 120 hours of driving I have held the wheel in the 10 and 2 position, but she told me to hold it in the 9 and 3 position. When I asked why, she said it's because when you do the test the driving test lady won't be able to see your speed on the speedometer . How come the other driving instructor never told me to change it. I'm comfortable in driving how I normally do it no one can tell me to change it just because they don't like it. Also when I made mistakes while driving she was scolding me, again something that driving instructors shouldn't do. They're suppose to be calm and have patience. Very unprofessional. I'm still traumatised after what happened, and if someone was in my situation they would feel the same. I don't want anyone in the same situation that I had to go though. I don't know how the wife is getting good reviews, but if she was angry that day she didn't have to throw it on me. When picking a driving instructor for yourself or your kids especially make sure to do some investigation.
