Fantastic experience: Couldnt have asked for a better driving instructor than Rob. In just 4 lessons I felt confident enough that I was ready to start practicing on my own (With a full license in the car) and passed my driving test the following month after those inital lessons without the need for any further lessons. He's not only concerned about helping you pass your driving test but also ensures that when you are liscenced you have all the knowledge you need to keep yourself and others around you safe when driving. If I could give him 6 stars I would.

Negative experience: I have seen the instructor on the road driving all by himself. I observed the following- he was speeding, being impatient and honking at other cars, overall not safe behaviour on the road. I am not sure how he is teaching his students safe driving while his own driving behaviour is not.

He managed to squeeze me into his busy schedule less than one month prior to the big day, despite having conversations to line our both of our jampacked schedules together. Rob does not just want you to just "pass" and teach you the way around driving test routes. He makes each lesson worth the investment, and it is such a comforting factor to know that I had a driving instructor to contest if the driving tester had spotted a mistake, almost as if you have your own lawyer or witness for your test! Learning from Rob brought such a calm ambience when it came to driving, especially when there presented with a huge collision or drivers who are unsafe on the road. Rob and I love to banter around even if I was grieving of a beloved family member.. "Slowing, Checking, Watching, Looking" He is easy to communicate with and puts his best effort to understand you. Other than him having a passion for his words that end with "ing", he has successfully taught my two older brothers and passed on the first try. He also has experience working with people with special needs and mental disorders. He places on emphasis on safe driving and importance of having a continuous smooth flow in driving as well. My parents also wanted to be kept on the loop on my progression and made sure to update them without reminding Rob. Rob's feedbacks are clear and concise, ensuring the points that he provides are communicated thoroughly. Rob has made me a confident driver in such little time despite completing the minimum required hours for Learners, and I cannot simply imagine going with any other instructor than Rob. The L2P Driving Excellence provide a decently and affordable prices despite the inflation and the cost of living rising. Rob is worth the investment compared to any other driving instructors available in the West. I would simply book another lesson with Rob now that I have successfully passed my driving test. Rob really took care of me whilst on the road and it is sad to know that I won't have a passenger like Rob to banter with... I always looked forward to my lessons with Rob as I wanted to prove to myself each time that I have significantly improved in my driving skills. To put it simply, Rob makes driving safe and simple. Rob, I do hope you consider upgrading your "Congratulations, I passed my test" sign and your go to "Thx for your kind review. Stay safe. ” It’s already past halfway to twenty-twenty three Rob! In other words, the cute little sign needs to use his retirement pension Don't get me wrong, still love the orignal and iconic sign, but why not add a bit of sparkle ✨
