Fantastic experience: Absolutely thrilled with level of service and professionalism I experienced. I was an extremely nervous driver and I honestly believed I would never be competent enough to pass my practical test. I did my lessons with Aman and he was a wonderful teacher. He explained things in detail when I struggled to understand how things were done, he helped me get more practice in areas I needed improvement and offered advice at the end of each lesson so I knew what to work on when practising with family members. I'm forever grateful to the team because I passed on the FIRST try!!!! Thank you Aman and all the team at First Attempt. This is the best Christmas present I could have asked for.

Negative experience: Could not even organise an appointment properly! Instructor requested a change of time, which we accepted, then they didn't turn up. When we contacted them, they blamed a network glitch. Then they blamed us for requesting a change of time (I was the instructor that requested the change not us) then rang us with screaming kids in the back ground! No thanks.

Fantastic experience: 1st Attempt Driving School should be number 1 in the NT honestly I’ve always been nervous to drive a car and I never thought I’d get my license but they changed my perspective with only 2-3 lessons at the most affordable price (compared to other driving schools) and especially in this economy!! Negative experience: I got recommendation from 2 friends to do my driving lesson with this company. And i had 3 lessons with this company unfortunately wasn’t really good experience for me. 1st lesson they brought a guy sitting at the passenger seat, i was confused who & why as the instructor did not mentioned anything and not even explain why. I tried to concentrate on learning without have to think about it, anyway the guy was just sat there quietly which fine then. 2nd lesson was okay, there no other stranger at the back seat. 3rd lesson when the instructor arrived he mentioned that we’re going to pick up someone, she gonna learn to become an examiner, Are you okay with that? I said YES, I don’t mind (with expectation if she will sit and quiet). During the lesson the lady keeps talking with the instructor (sorry) using their language which i don’t understand what they talking about, it makes me uncomfortable and can’t concentrate on the driving lesson (to prepare myself for the exam on that day). When finished I asked my friends whether they experience these during the lessons? They said no, because there’s only instructor & student during lesson. Why on earth it’s only me. So my friends suggested me to call and ask if that’s okay. I did called the company and spoke to the owner, the owner explained that the company now getting bigger and need more instructor. He also told me that’s how they teach the new instructor otherwise how they gonna learn? (Well too bad for me if they have to learn only during my time, not the other way round). The owner then offered me to take 1 lesson for free. I refused it and I don’t even expect the refund. Even though it’s not cheap, honestly is not always about money but please respect my time, especially my trust. P.S whenever i made mistakes during the lesson i said sorry, and the instructor will say: sorry is expensive you know? (I take that as a joke) Now i would say: time is precious so please respect other’s people time and be on time. Well what is done cannot be undone. But we can always learn from it to be self conscious and mindful. All the best in the future for 1st attempt & teams & myself. Namaste

Fantastic experience: I passed my test today and I had done a lot of lesson with Khoda who was very helpful and taught everything in a way that I understood , I only had 3-4 weeks to learn driving in a manual car which I had never done before so I was very anxious and nervous all the time, everything was new and he taught me so well and I was able to pass my test . Fantastic experience: It was my first attempt and I passed. A massive thank you to Aman and Satnam for the huge help in my preparation prior taking the practical test. First attempt Driving School is highly recommended as they are on point and efficient to deal with, I have been sending email intent to multiple driving school but only Aman scheduled me for a phone call to talk about my plan on the same day when I sent the email of intent. Satnam my instructor was patient enough to do mock test with me and prepared me in just one lesson to pass the actual test. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! My previous driving instructor cancelled my final lesson and test last minute and 1st Attempt Driving School was able to squeeze me in so quickly. One lesson with Dongbei right before my test and I am such a nervous driver but I finished feeling so calm and prepared, he was amazing. Sat my test with Aman. And I passed with flying colours. Highly recommend them!

Dongbei is a patient, knowledgeable, and experienced instructor who helped me feel at ease during my driving lessons. His clear and concise instructions made it easy for me to understand what I needed to do, and he always provided constructive feedback to help me improve my driving skills. Fantastic experience: Throughout my Ls, I've had a few additional instructors from various driving schools, but I never improved under their guidance. After I switched to Aman, he taught me things that no one else could, resulting in my obtaining my Ps when I thought it was impossible. I absolutely recommend him as the best driving instructor around.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend 1st attempt driving school. Aman was the only driving instructor in Darwin that arranged a phone call and lessons for me to practice on short notice. Aman taught me new ways to drive safer and to learn manual Aman also showed me how to do everything I needed to know to obtain my ps before I tried to do them. Aman is a very good driving instructor as he makes you feel comfortable and talks to you about day to day problems in the world if you make a mistake he corrects you and asks you what you did wrong before he tells you so you can learn after doing lessons and a practice test with Aman I obtained my Ps license by passing the test the first time as the name “1st attempt driving school” and by driving to the best of my ability at all times thank you Aman for taking the time to teach me.

Fantastic experience: Amazing school, made me feel real comfortable. Even though I had been driving in Sri lanka for 9 years or so they recommended that i take some lessons before i took the test, and i am glad i did take at least 2. If i hadn’t i would have definitely failed the driving test. Would recommend them to anyone really.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Aman for being the best instructor ever he is patient, respectful, friendly to communicate with and very professional in his job. I have gained my confidence in doing a hill start in a manual transmission 4WD. I received very useful driving skills / knowledge from Aman, he’s explanation was very clear and simple to understand. Aman’s wife answered my text message and phone call, she was very helpful when I asked questions she covered all my questions & answered with a such a polite manner clear to understand and got back to me ASAP when she gathered all the information I needed. I did one refresher lesson with Aman in they’re company’s brand new Toyota Hilux Manual transmission just to familiarise myself in a 6 speed transmission 4WD, after the lesson Aman gave me nothing but positive feedback & he’s availability date & time after. He also asked if I would like to do few more 3 point turn, hill starts & parallel parking, I took the offer and did few more. I guess the company’s name is 100% accurate, my first driving test I have passed and wasn’t nervous at all. I would definitely RECOMMEND those who have to complete any driving lessons / do a test please don’t hesitate to contact 1st Attempt Driving School they will never waste your time & money.
