It can't be compared to European standards as my drive instructor was too rough on me and unprofessional. Fantastic experience: Absolute fantastic HGV company and instructors. From the first phone call to Jo and the lessons with Jamie to sitting my test with the instructor. All put me at ease and took away any stress and nerves. I've had 4 years driving HC in England but still would recommend this course to anyone having to resit their test upon entering Australia as couldn't transfer my UK license over. Brilliant company even if your new to the game. My advice is don't waste your time with another company get yourself booked up with these super stars. Really great bunch. Fantastic experience: After getting my Crash box HC license through The Driving School in Arundel i would advise anyone looking to upgrade to do the same. Really patient and keen on positive feedback as well as giving regular reminders on recurring mistakes to drum out bad habits. From the office staff that booked my dates to training and finally my exam everyone were top notch. No stress with these guys at all and i'll be back for my MC after i get a few more hours on the road. Legends!

Fantastic experience: These guys were fantastic. They’ll teach you the basics but let you screw up if need be but then be able to guide you on the correct way. Very down to earth, honest people. I did the license in a day for my MR’s, which is excellent, however, fatigue management is a thing to keep in mind. I thought I’d be fine given I’ve been driving long distance for several years but trucks are a different game. Overall these guys are solid and I highly recommend.

Chad was able to reinforce aspects of truck driving and steadily take me through the requirements of driving the truck. Fantastic experience: I had Chad for 3 lessons and Chris for 2 lessons. Both were very helpful. Chad got me highly ready and well prepared for my practical HR test. Molly was very friendly and provided great service in giving me info before going ahead with lessons through this organisation. Fantastic experience: Completed the LR training and test in a day. Was very appreciative of the communication from the get go. With most places booked out 4-6 weeks in advance The Driving School responded to my query right away with an opening that became available within the week in a region closer to me. My trainer on the day was great, really helped me feel comfortable and at ease prior to the test and was there waiting to congratulate me when I returned.

Fantastic experience: 100% would recommend the team here at the driving school on the GC they are full of positivity and are laid back I called up and the admin staff booked me a 2 day course and were very easy to talk too. Had Tyson as my Instructor and he was extremely knowledgeable, straight forward and safe which made learning the road ranger a lot easier and less stressful, had Jamie as my Examiner and he was just as good and made going into the test a lot less nerve racking will definitely come back here next time I upgrade my license

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend The Driving School on the Gold Coast (Arundel). They successfully prepared me to get my Heavy Rigid licence first attempt and made the test a simple process of doing what we had practiced together a number of times. My instructor, Chad, made driving enjoyable with a good blend of correcting mistakes, teaching 'rules of thumb', and encouraging me when I successfully mastered a skill. I would use this company in the future for further driver training.

Fantastic experience: From the first phone call to ask questions and book a lesson/test, I found the entire process extremely easy with this company. All office staff were extremely helpful and accommodated my needs. Once booked, the follow up of reminders and payment was easy and efficient. On the day of the lesson and test, the instructor, Duncan, was very friendly and this relaxed me immediately. His knowledge of the rules and test process was very thorough. Duncan made me feel at ease the whole time. He took me through the possible four test circuits pointing out ‘catch me’ parts that may trip you up. We even had time for a coffee break prior to the test to provide feedback and allay any fears. Duncan described each tester in detail so that I was aware of personalities. This again enabled me to be relaxed. All in all, a very positive experience made easy by the professionalism of all involved at Burleigh Heads Driving School. I highly recommend this company.

My Trainer Chris was very understanding and considerate as my nerves got, the best of me at the beginning. Within in a few lessons I felt confident behind the wheel.
