Fantastic experience: I did my driver test with Bhabin in Castle Hill NSW, and he explained everything to me with great clarity, he was able to correct all my observation errors and gave me absolutely all the tools to be able to pass my exam correctly, very patient, he worried about me at all times both before and after the test, I am very grateful to him.

Fantastic experience: I had Kumar Shailendra as my driving instructor for a couple lessons and he was the reason I passed first go at St Marys. I had him for a couple of lessons at the start to learn the basics of driving when I first got my Ls and was really nervous, but he taught everything succinctly and in a patient and easy going manner. Few months later I had him again nearer to my driving test and despite driving consistently for months, he rectified my driving and told me everything I needed to do to pass the test first go which I did. I can confidently say that Kumar is extremely professional, and no matter where you are in your driving journey, he is always there to help. I highly recommend anyone to have him as their instructor. Thanks again Kumar!

Negative experience: Worst company that I have experienced. We tried TWO different instructors. They only discuss their private life and want to know everything about yours. They don't complete the hours you pay for. They distract you and give you wrong advice. Would be good to DRIVE only not have constant interrogation while driving. Never ever again will I try this pathetic company. Unprofessional and WASTE OF MONEY.

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive is daunting and anxiety inducing but after going with Shailendra Kumar I was able to achieve my P’s first go. Not only was his vehicle higher than acceptable standards, it was highly accessible for people of all backgrounds and ability. He takes on a more unique approach when it came to teaching, illustrating through sketches, practical activity and more to ensure you’re able to learn and and grow with each lesson you get. He is a patient and well presented individual, always remaining professional and understanding for people of all age and ability brackets. Would highly recommend selecting him as your instructor if you wish to pursue learning to drive both efficiently and safely. Thanks again Kumar! ^^

Fantastic experience: For instructor Jhanvi: A great lady who is highly trained, professional and courteous. She boosted my confidence to the next level in no time. After driving with her, I feel I am 100% perfect. She teaches you skills but also takes out road/traffic fear from you which many instructors do not know.

Fantastic experience: I'm an incredibly nervous driver (have tried to learn to drive on-off for a few years now then backed out!), and have been having lessons with Daniel Iqbal for the last few months - this is the first time ever I've started to feel comfortable in a car. He is professional and kind, and has been so thorough in ensuring that my confidence in the car and being on the road grows. I never thought I would learn to drive properly, and this is the first time I feel I might actually go in for my test soon! He makes it easy to book lessons and structure sessions that doesn't just help you for your test, but ensures you are a safe driver after. Couldn't recommend OnRoad and Daniel more :)

Fantastic experience: Had my first lessons with Gehane and later ones with Earl, and both instructors taught me the right skills to drive comfortably and safely. Gehane and Earl are both calm and patient teachers that put me at ease through the entire process, especially when I had my test car package with Earl, he gave me the confidence and pointers to pass my P1 test first go. I definitely recommend both of these instructors to anyone looking to improve their driving abilities!

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test with Kumar and he was a really big help. He boosted up my confidence and built up my skills to a level I hadn't reached previous with other instructors. Concepts that felt like a roll of the dice became a cakewalk and other road rules I didn't even know became second nature. Truly a miracle worker. Negative experience: Kumar Shailendra - Unprofessional and Rude Driving Instructor – Avoid! I had an unfortunate experience with a driving instructor named Kumar Shailendra at Onroad Driving School. His behavior was extremely rude, unprofessional, and arrogant. I strongly advise against choosing him as an instructor. No one deserves to be treated with such disrespect. Additionally, when I expressed my dissatisfaction and changed instructors, he personally contacted me and subjected me to harassment and humiliation.

We had a couple of instructors but settled on Marta because she was thorough with skills training and had safety front of mind. Tailored the lessons to the person and taught real life driving skills. So happy with our choice. Marta was also reliable with appts.

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience with Kumar in just 2 driving lessons. I’d done most of my hours and was doing lessons to prepare for the test, and he was very clear and concise and gave important advice specific to my situation, such as advice on when to check blind spots, how to properly do manoeuvres like 3 point turns, and advice on what to practice after the lessons. I highly recommend Kumar as a instructor if he is in the area!

Negative experience: Horrible Service in Newcastle. First time they didn't show up at all with no communication. Second time they were late so the lesson was only 40mins. Instructor talked on the phone for half of a kids first ever driving lesson! Driver didn't look like the photo on line and I suspect was not a qualified instructor. Complaint to company ignored!

Fantastic experience: My son had specialised driving with Raj Gurung. Very happy with his training. My son felt very comfortable he insisted on doing his lessons with Raj didnt want anyone else. Raj always made himself available. Was very patient and my son not only thought of him as a driving instructor but also a friend during the whole process. Because of Rajs committment and excellent training he made it possible for my son to gain his drivers license.

Fantastic experience: We used a couple of drivers, the main one being Earl, and very stress free and professional. Good website and teach the foundations. We gave our son. 5 lessons to start with before I started driving with him and then a few more when he was about to sit the test. Very professional service. Totally recommend.

Fantastic experience: I went through multiple instructors with On Road. But by far Anthony was the best out of all of them. He's patients yet knows when to be rigid, makes driving fun and safe. I could not recommend Anthony more to anyone who is interested in learning how to drive in Australia.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Earl who was our sons driving instructor. Our son is autistic and we requested an instructor who is patient and has awareness when supporting individuals with additional needs. Earl was open to supporting our son in the ways requested which meant communicating with our son and also us his parents. Earl was always on time and respectful of our sons needs. Today our son had his final driving lesson because he passed his test and now has his P’s; we’d like to thank Earl for his professionalism and we’d also like to thank Ronak for his information and support.

Negative experience: From some of the previous reviews it seems as a pattern for this driving school 1) keep on cancelling classes or non-availability of instructors, thereby breaking the rhythm 2) instructors teaching very slowly in order to increase number of classes. I had booked 10 lessons for my wife. But after 10 classes I feel she is where she was before. Wont recommend this driving school

Fantastic experience: Earlier this year Jay Rahman from OnRoad driving, taught me how to drive, or shall I say re-taught me how to drive before going for my red P's. Being a more mature student, who had previously been driving for over 8 years, his work was cut out for him from day 1, as it is certainly not an easy task to teach someone to unlearn and re-learn a skill, as it would be to teach someone who had never learnt the said skill in the first place. Jay was very kind, patient, and certainly understanding of my individual needs and changed his teaching styles to accommodate my particular style of learning, every lesson where ever he felt that I needed more focus or repetition or simply more experience in the deep end, keeping road safety on the forefront of his mind in every lesson. I truly believe that no other teacher could have taught me as well as Jay did, as even today, when I go out on the road, I recall his voice in the back of my mind whenever I am facing any difficult situation. Jay took up this challenge of teaching me and travelling quite far for each lesson as well, and not only succeeding but excelling in it. With just over a few months of lessons, I was able to pass in my first go of the test! I thank Jay for being an incredible teacher and would 100% recommend him to others.

Fantastic experience: Con is a great driving instructor and mentor for my driving. I had 4 lesson with Con in the weeks before my test and he fixed all the bad habits I picked up in my year of driving. I would 100% recommend him for people wanting to pass their test on the first go. He even helped me when my rear light blew only an hour before my test to get a new one so I could complete the test. I passed the test first go thanks to his teaching.

Fantastic experience: After only a few lessons with Antony I passed my Ps test the first time. He is very knowledgeable and patient, I’ve had lessons from a few instructors at other companies but Antony was the most helpful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Had 2 driving lessons with Onroad and have been greeted with very professional drivers that have helped me and my driving skills with also explaining things in a very easy and understanding way. Chandu was the person I had my last driving lesson with and had been excellent throughout the whole lesson. When going into detail about certain minor things it was well explained and had actually benefitted me and my driving skills. I would recommend this driving school to anyone who is willing to learn with also having the comfortability of having someone to talk to who can also teach you.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend my driving instructor Fred Nematian from Onroad Driving School. I took 4hrs lessons in total from him and I passed on first attempt to convert my overseas license to full unrestricted license. Fred has been very patience and polite to me while trying to correct my bad driving behavior and pointed out important tips for me to make me a better driver. The online booking system and reminder from instructor before the lesson is also making things easy. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Mayuri was super patient while teaching and not once did a feel scared or nervous to ask her questions during our lesson. She had lots of great tips especially for the test which allowed me to PASS FIRST GO with no problems. Would definitely recommend taking lessons with on road and with Mayuri !!
