Fantastic experience: I completed my Open course with troy when you are placed in a situation were your riding skills are put to the test this guy made it a fun day lots of tips and information to become a better rider all round i am currently going through some health issues which Troy catered for and made me feel really good on the day i would like to thank the staff i was too easy getting all the paperwork together to get this off my bucket list GREAT WORK would recommend to any rider

Fantastic experience: Great service, no idea what Nic in the review previous to this is talking about. Maybe he couldn't get his own way with booking as I've only ever had a very welcoming experience with the lady on the phone and they've always tried their best to fit you in where they can and to help you. It's actually very pleasant to talk to them Doug is an outstanding trainer, if you're serious about riding for fun and more importantly riding SAFELY. You'll want to stick with Ride smart as they're not like your cowboys they care for your safety and want you to be a competent rider! Not are they only the cheapest on the S.E.Q market they're also the best! Honest and just a great day out everytime.

Negative experience: Doug the trainer is a really smart bloke and genuinely cares about your road safety. He is very clear and can get his point across to you, and also makes the courses really enjoyable. However the lady on the phone was really rude and snarky, treated me like I was a school child and made sarcastic comments. All without being provoked. Really ruined the whole experience and made the company seem really un-professional. If you cant get Doug as your trainer I would suggest going elsewhere if you don't like being treated like a 5th grader by a woman on the phone. 5 Stars for Doug.

Fantastic experience: Had Doug from L's to RE's highly recommend selecting this mob, accommodating for all skill levels, the instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. From the girls on the phone to the boys on the bikes my experience was great I'll be back with them in two years. Again Doug was awesome.

Fantastic experience: Being completely new to riding, I was a little nervous coming to the pre-learners course, but from the very beginning the atmosphere was very relaxing, welcoming and friendly. It definitely helped. Greg, our instructor, was always very helpful, patient and encouraging. It was a fantastic experience. The office staff were also very friendly and helpful which made the whole experience better. Highly, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: What can I say! Firstly, Marnie is exceptionally cordial, prompt and encouraging in regards to any inquiry. Doug is a phenomenally informative and entertaining facilitator. I actually miss him, I felt he really cared about our reasons and desire to ride. Hence, I now have the confidence to ride and with his patience and enthusiasm, feel well prepared to 'perceive' my environment to ensure my safety. It truly seems like a family at RideSmart and I look forward to booking an adventure ride some time in the near future. I was that impressed. Fantastic experience: I had so much fun doing the 2 day Pre-learner course last week. Steve did an amazing job getting us through all the modules we had to complete. He had so much riding experience. He was patient, helpful and we could have a laugh all while learning the skills we need to now venture out on our own! Fantastic experience: Steve was absolutely fantastic. Not only was he invested in us achieving our REs, he went above and beyond by spending extra time targeting and honing the areas that we were needing to improve in. I am so much more confident in my roadcraft and motorcycle handling. Would highly recommend Steve for all skill levels.

Fantastic experience: Participated in the pre-learners 2 day course last weekend and had Warren and Steve for instructors. Great weekend which I’d been looking forward to doing for a while now. Appreciate all their patience and education. Made the weekend quite enjoyable :-)

Fantastic experience: The 2 day course was very good. Ive haven't ridden a motorbike in over 15 years and even then I wasn't very experienced. Steve did a great job teaching me new skills and helping me feel very comfortable on the bike. It was a great couple days, thank you Steve.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Steve White. As a complete noob - having never ridden a bike before, I appreciated his patience, succinct instructions and the depth of his knowledge. I found the course program to be perfect for someone new to riding like me. I'll be booking a few hours on the road with RideSmart and Steve again shortly. Keep up the great work.

Fantastic experience: Marnie was very professional when organising a time and date to book my R License test, even to the point where she changed the time slot to suit myself and another rider's convenience. The information Steve transferred to me whilst re-learning the raw basics of riding a motorcycle after not being on one for 4 years were critical to me obtaining my license. The transition between competency drills were smooth and testing. It shows they have been in business for a long time and are very trustworthy, definitely recommend to any new or rider wishing to upgrade.

Fantastic experience: After much hesitation on finding and booking my first Q-ride pre learners (L) course, I made the call and finally booked with RideSmart. Having rode dirt bikes for a large portion of my life, I had little expectation as to how much I would actually learn in this course. I can honestly say this course was 100% beneficial from the very start to finish. The trainer I had was Steve, who was extremely professional, patient, and most importantly; passionate. The course really is mandatory for anyone who has never learnt the correct methods of riding and handling a motorcycle. Initially I thought the price was quite expensive, however it really is a small price to pay to potentially save your life on the road. Overall I would highly recommend RideSmart and I look forward to returning to complete my restricted (RE) licence.

Fantastic experience: What an awesome experience, Steve was my instructor for my RE-L, great knowledge and awesome real world examples. For my RE licence, Doug was the man, re-enforced all the good habits that Steve instilled, so important (and refreshing) to have instructors singing from the same song sheet. Thanks Steve and Doug, you've got my recommendation any day!
