Fantastic experience: Lee, Tim and Wayne were excellent! Lee is really amazing - very calm, informative, knowledgeable and gave you a lot of confidence in yourself. All of his tips and tricks have kept me upright on the road now. Tim was the bad cop to Lee's good cop haha, though he is what you need to pass this learners course - a bit of pressure and understanding where you go wrong is what we all need to make sure you have the confidence when you're out on the road. This was valuable because you need to understand how you will react when under a pressure situation. Wayne is an up and coming instructor and is just an awesome guys. Such a great team at Bomaderry, Highly recommend! I got my L's the day I passed and love riding on the road! I learnt everything from them and thankful for it. Be responsible everyone and you will be great!

Fantastic experience: Completed course on the 6th & 7th of November, brought my MT-07 the next day and while riding home it was raining and in peak hour traffic. I stalled a few times and it was slippery and considerably dangerous but thanks to Lee I was able to ride home safe and happy my license expired and I got to do the course again as it was valuable. Fantastic experience: Attended SU Bomaderry for both pre-learner and provisional courses. Lee was an absolutely excellent and extremely knowledgeable trainer with a lot of patience and desire to see people succeed. I felt very well supported as a first time rider with no previous experience and therefore I have no hesitations about recommending him and SU Bomaderry to my other friends who have expressed their interest in obtaining their motorcycle licence as well. I now have my own bike and every time I ride, I still find myself hearing his riding tips in my head, correcting my technique and actively making me ride better every time I go out. Fantastic experience: Lee was very patient and helpful toward all the participants no matter their skill level. Fantastic experience: Lee provided excellent instruction, he was incredibly relaxed and calm. I felt very confident in his experience and knowledge, he prepared our group really well for the MOST. Sadly I messed up one thing on the test but it made me realise I hadn't practiced some skills enough. Back to the practice track & fingers crossed for next time. Fantastic experience: Just finished the 2 x half days with Ali, who was up from Canberra. Ali was so professional and so clear in her instructions, it inspired confidence. Everything was explained then demonstrated. And lots of coaching throughout. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience as a complete novice. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thumbs up for Ali.

Fantastic experience: Kind and patient instructors. Sessions are well structured and it was a great experience. I will say that the course is challenging and there’s a lot to learn quickly if you’ve never driven manual or ridden motorcycles before. It is doable for a beginner and they go through all the basics but be prepared. Also it will be harder for a shorter person (I’m 154cm) as being unable to rest your feet flat on the ground makes it harder to keep the bike upright on initial takeoff or to catch the bike if it stalls. They had a lower seat motorcycle so doable but it will be slightly harder. Once the bike gets moving you’ll have no problems though. Big tip that helped on starting up with friction point: use your left foot to help push off and keep the bike up initially.

Fantastic experience: I did both my pre learners course and pre provisional course with Stay Upright and I found Lee very professional, informative and patient. You can tell he cares about the safety of his students not only during the course but in their riding lives also. Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic time going for my pre-learners, our particular group all had ridden some form of bike before, however we all still learnt alot and the training was catered accordingly while still covering everything that we needed to do, Paul was an amazing instructor, couldn't recommend any more highly! Fantastic experience: Have been out of motorcycling for 20 years. Needed a refresher to build confidence before I purchased a bike/began riding again. Recommended 1 on 1 instruction for two hours. Took this advice and couldn't be happier. Covered all the basics and a little more with Lee @ Bomaderry. Highly recommend Stay Upright. Great instruction on the day and excellent customer service to meet my needs.

Fantastic experience: Great guy ! My 16 year old son said the instructor was very good. He learnt a few things. Has been riding for 7 years and now its time to get his L's for his motorbike. Maybe need to look at people who have ridden before and people who haven't. Some of the group had never ridden before which slowed things a little. Other than that was very good.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, patient, professional and fair instructors. A great introduction to riding correctly and safely. It would be quite challenging but not at all impossible if you've never ridden say a bicycle before or had truly zero concept of a manual motorbike, but in fairness not many of those individuals would be looking to ride a motorcycle on the road. Can't recommend enough! Looking forward to returning for the Ps course/accreditation
