Fantastic experience: I don’t usually post a review on google, but the service that I received at K and J Thomas Whittlesea was remarkable. I went in with little to no knowledge on what I wanted, and the gentleman that served was a wealth of knowledge to say the least. I was taken through different options for what I need to get on the road, taken through different brands for benefits and features of each, and the shop was thoughtfully laid out with plenty of motoring and safety wear options. I highly recommend K and J Thomas if you are looking for expert advice, the right gear, and friendly and helpful customer service. I left with a bike and safety gear that is exactly what I was after, and at a very competitive price. Big thank you to Trevor for helping me out, I will definitely be returning for when I upgrade shortly!

Negative experience: Very amateurish operation, don't trust them. I bought a product described as Stihl brushcutter mower head but it turned out to only be a spool for the mower head. Was willing to wear it since I didn't double check the part number (they didn't include a photo of the item) but after it was delivered I found I had been charged $20 freight instead of the $15 shown on the completed order - even $15 is excessive for a small intrastate parcel but it was my choice. Sent them a form on the website to say I was overcharged but hearing nothing more I rang to be told they don't see the messages via their website. I was told I would have to send an email with all the order details and my account details so they could refund the $5. After several days and no refund I raised a dispute for the $5 with the bank for them to follow up. Refund appeared next day but no apology or acknowledgement they stuffed up.

Positive experience: Unprofessional approach to buisness told me they are busy and my repair is too hard and they DID NOT want to be involved after I had just spent 2500 on parts . Don’t trust Trevor he is not a man of his word Since I wrote this review Trevor called me and provided a explanation. I sense the issues with my bike were difficult to resolve In there eyes . Trevor to his credit was truthful that because of the fact they could not guarantee they had the experience to repair bike in a costly fashion that it would be wiser for me to take bike back. Unfortunately this leaves me trying to find someone that can accurately provide a quotation . I am not satisfied but respect he had the decency to call me and discuss the issue . My review star rating has gone up for the the honesty he has showed.

Negative experience: Went here for my first 1000km service on my suzuki. Returned with oil below the add oil line. Rear wheel was misaligned after chain tension. Sump plug was finger tight and leaking. Bolt holding on on bark busters was loose after clutch adjustment and fell onto my garage floor after inspection. Tyres dangerously overinflated at 41 PSI. Factory recomends 33 PSI. Offered free delivery after taking a week and a half to do the service. Tried leaving my bike on the street out the front my my house with the keys in it while I was at work (I had left instructions on how to open the garage). Had to yell at the guy dropping it off to go back and put it in the garage. Didn't trailer the bike, rode it with low oil. $320. Stick to whipper snippers guys.

Negative experience: Worst customer service I have ever come across. Extremely rude and they quoted me $200 to service my chainsaw but when I went to pick it up they said $430! They told me it's because they had their best guy working on it. Well as you can see from the photo, they left me with a heavily leaking chainsaw. And when I went to use it, the casing fell off as they didn't put any lock tight on the crews. They told me it was my fault and that they didn't even open the casing up! Why did you charge me $430 for then! Honestly, they should be ashamed of themselves! No wonder I rarely see a customer in their car park. Not only am I not recommending them, I go out of my way to tell people never take your business to k&j Thomas!

Negative experience: Waste of time and terrible customer service. Obviously aren’t interested in any business or anything that requires any work. Brought a lawnmower in for repairs and were pushed out the door and told to fix it ourselves. Didn’t seem the slightest bit interested in our business or make it seem worth their time. Shame considering we would have preferred to support local business. By the look of other reviews left, it seems they all need training in customer service and how to run a business a little better. Waste of time and total disappointment. I’ll be sure to steer clear of recommending anyone here or buying anything from this store.

Trevor was the one that served me and after finding out the type of grass I would be mowing, terrain, etc, he recommended the Cox Ride On Mower. I wish I had come here years ago rather than wasting time elsewhere buying inferior equipment. They have the knowledge and large variety of mowers, bikes etc for all your needs. Asked us to come back with money for a quote, wasting my time and effort to drive there for. WILL NOT RECOMMEND!

Negative experience: I have previously had positive service here but last time they messed up. Due to a misalignment of priorities it took almost 6 weeks to be service, resulting in me having to pay someone to mow my lawn in the gap. Then when I got it back it started but the throttle was not aligned so neverr turned off with pulling the spark plug connection. Very disappointed with outcome.

Everything they said was true, they got me the best pricing on finance and are happy to help with any questions; etc. They stock the right stuff and I definately do reccomend. Positive experience: This place is much more that you might think as you look from Plenty road, there's a lot of bikes and products to check out, a parts desk and so on. Road bikes, dirt bikes, dual sport (Suzuki DR650, DRZ400, and some smaller displacement "adventure" bikes in the 200-250cc range), and 4WD side by side buggies with powered dumping beds... I've marked it 4 stars as I haven't yet tried the shop yet, but I intend to!
