Fantastic experience: I had a private session with Geoff on Friday. First time back on a bike after a serious accident. Geoff was amazing, gave me the confidence I needed, was calm, encouraging, and pushed when I needed it. Fantastic experience: I did my P's course and MOST test at Queanbeyan today. I had Kah as my instructor, and boy, is he good. He was really passionate about motorcycling, and that helped better his teaching. Fantastic experience: Had a great instructor, DONNA! The course was extremely informative, fun and relaxed. I learnt so much about bike control and correct body position which I will be practising like crazy. The small classes are perfect and you dont feel pressured. Fantastic experience: I’ve had 2 private lessons with John Perrin and then completed the full day Roadsmart 2 with Simon, John, Brandon and Andy. I’m a returning rider after a 20 year gap and I can happily say my technique and confidence have both improved exponentially from these training sessions. Finally, these guys are truly great fun to be with and super talented motorcyclists and teachers. John in particular I regard as a friend. I can’t recommend Stay Upright highly enough.

Fantastic experience: After being instructed by John for the day yesterday I feel more ready to hit the road and practice riding. His clear and concise instruction has helped me understand so much more about bikes on the road prevention of collisions where possible and working of motorbikes. Fantastic experience: Best experience ever.. especially learning with Donna on getting my P lesson.. MOST test makes me nervous at the beginning, but after practice, i get lots encouragement from donna and getting more and more comfortable. She gave me confidence and made me understand that everything is in my head and the focus that I need to have when riding. Thank you so much and I really appreciate the lesson.

Fantastic experience: Completed both the pre-learners and MOST sessions here. All facilities are provided. My instructor for MOST, Ali was fantastic. She was welcoming, funny and provided great instructions. I really enjoyed the day and learnt many great tips to become a safer rider.

Fantastic experience: Did the Leaners and Provisional course over the last 12 months and have learnt so much. John has the patience of a saint and was really patient and a positive instructor. I didn't think I would benefit as much as I did from the course and have walked more aware and positive on my riding skills.

Fantastic experience: The Stay Upright course was amazing. I have never ridden before so all of it was new to me. The instructor, Andrew, was great, he explained things in an easy way and is very patient. The whole process was easy, stress free and it was a fun day. Positive experience: Great welcome when I arrived by staff there who came straight over to me. The instructor I had showed all the traits you would want in an instructor, namely patience and the ability to explain things clearly and in different ways to get me to do what they were after. I’m booking in for more lessons. Huge gains in 1 hour one on one.

She made every effort to explain both the physical action and the required mentality/psychology of the task(s) so that our riding was informed and performed with intent. Fantastic experience: Richard was a great and helpful instructor for the Pre-learner training course! Easy parking, good facilities, gear and bikes. To add to this review a few months later, I have just completed my P's course. Ion was a wonderful instructor and not only was very good at teaching but also made the course very fun. Fantastic experience: I have done my L's and now my P's (passed yesterday !) With the guys from stay upright. Both courses were fun, informative and easy going. Fantastic experience: First of all making the booking was a lovely experience with Jackie she is amazing at her job. She made making a booking and recommendation for the right course all really simple and fast. Andy had an awesome personality and really helped us through it all and never made any of us feel unable or recidivist. overall was an Amazing and experience and would recommend them to everyone wanting to learn to ride

Fantastic experience: About me: female, 165cm, 65kg and never been on a bike. Learner course: Instructor was Brendan and he was fantastic! He made me feel comfortable and was very supportive. Provisional: great day! Big day but good day. Instructor was Ian. Again, very supportive, made me feel very comfortable. I failed the test at the MOST which internally shattered me. But I understood why I failed and that was okay. Ian was still very sympathetic and supportive. Reassured me I was capable, just needed the confidence to perform under pressure. I practiced the test nearly every day for two weeks to build my confidence for the resit. I was shattered I failed at the time, but it allowed me to become a much better rider in those two weeks of practice. (Don’t underestimate the use of your back break!) I called Stay Up Right during this time to discuss options. And I got the biggest most beautiful pep-talk by Jackie. Resit MOST: instructor John. I was the last to do the test. Even though I only had a 5 minute introduction, John made me feel safe and supported. I passed and I’m ecstatic! The reason I’m leaving such a detailed review is for anyone who is not sure if riding is for them, or are very nervous/shy, please feel comfortable to reach out to Stay Up Right! In every instance they are supportive, kind, give no judgement, and they want you to pass! But they also want you to be the best and safest rider you can be.

Fantastic experience: Having done courses with Stay Upright in 2013 & 2014 the quality of instructors has improved immensely! Thankfully the yelling, boot camp style instruction has been replaced with friendly, patient and clear instructors like Ali & Jeff who were both brilliant! Fantastic experience: The experience was great, for both the pre-learner course as well as the pre-provisional course. The amount of time and effort put into each trainee by the trainer ensuring we all understood what we had to do and how to do it was exceptional. Fantastic experience: Did my Motorcycle L and P courses here and I am super glad I chose Stay Upright. Both the times, the instructor were very punctual, super interactive, very funny and knowledgeable. Rented bike from them and they were in good condition. The location has parking, restroom, pantry, snack machine and clean. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: John is a incredible coach. He was patient throughout each drill and exercise, he gave important and helpful information to better me on the range and road, and he understood each riders ability in their strengths, weaknesses and knew how to address each of us with empathy and the right advice. He was professional and funny, he made the day fun and enjoyable. brought some light to the rainy day and I'm happy to say with his expert advice and encouragement I passed!
Fantastic experience: I completed my course for motorbike learners. My instructor- John, was extremely knowledgeable and encouraging as I was quite nervous, and positive I could easily give up on the course prior to even starting up the motorbike. John constantly checked on me and gave me advice and tips when needed. I now feel confident I have the knowledge and skills to start getting some practice in on the quiet streets around home to gain more experience. Highly recommended.
