Fantastic experience: My wife and I recently attended the Cornering and Body Position course as part of the Rider Development Progeam at the Lakeside Driver Training Center with John and his team. Our instructor, Grant, provided fabulous guidance throughout the day. The instruction was excellent, and the course really helped us improve our cornering and body positioning skills. It boosted our confidence in extending our abilities on the bike while building trust in ourselves and our motorcycles. John and his team are exceptional personal instructors, offering top-notch knowledge, experience, and support. The course was not only incredibly beneficial but also a lot of fun. We highly recommend Motor Dojo’s courses to anyone looking to develop their riding skills. We’re already looking forward to our next session. Fantastic experience: Motodojo is undoubtedly an excellent place to get your motorcycle license. I did my RE course with Josh and R course with Chris. They were both very friendly and professional. John the owner is also very easy to deal with. I took an international package which gives you a good discount when converting your international motorcycle license. Can recommend the place without hesitation.

Negative experience: My experience with Motodojo was disgusting, dangerous expectations, unreasonable and no common sense. Do not book this course in the summer time. In November in Brisbane we get super cell storms there was a media extreme severe weather warning of large hail stones and strong wind and electric storm 13th nov. as i was about to leave home to course storm was just about to unleash, with my expensive four wheel drive, trailer and bike but couldn't risk getting damaged and surprised the course wasn't cancelled or postponed due to the media warnings. this was NOT a afternoon sun shower. They couldn't understand this UNPRECIDENTED situation and wouldn't reschedule my course. They said needed 5 days notice lol iam not god i can't predict this weather event. There pathetic excuse was they would loose money.. boo hoo hoo . I loose money every day in business past 30 years being outdoors is expected with every trade. I paid the course in full all they could of done is re book me in on one of there slow times easy solved.. but they had no empathy or common sense on this situation. What idiot would drive there 50k car into a potentially destructive super cell with hail. There conclusion i should of caught a cab lol... That's ok i can be un reasonable as well they will be hearing from QCAT and office of fair trading. i will not be referring anyone to this business. Iam out of pocket over 400 dollars now have too book another course thanks to motodojo.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend the Lakeside courses (have only had experience with these). Feel a significant difference on the roads- especially the mountain runs after each course (which is why am going back for a 3rd go) -even after years of riding experience. The classes are run with humour, a good mix of time on the training circuit in groups and then feedback / education re skills to further develop. The crew are genuine, open, interested in attendee development. Combo of the tuition, ability to practice pushing the limits in a relatively safe (vs roads) environment = definite improvements (riding capacity/ skills / confidence & safety). Plus its just plain good fun & some good times with like minded people. Definitely worth the money.

Fantastic experience: Attended a pre-learners course and cannot say how good it was. John the educator was professional, full of information, tips and techniques and all delivered with passion...great stuff. Double thumbs up. Updated 25/11/2024 I have now undertaken 2 road ride lessons with Phil, a private lesson with Josh and one with Rebekah and these were brilliant and provided me with the skills and confidence to pass my RE (with John). Cannot recommend this team enough for their support and assistance to get you ready and to pass your licence.

Learning the basics on the bike was the best part about the course and John explained this perfectly. With my RE’s, Josh (hiccup) was hands down such a good choice of trainer. Going over the slow manoeuvres was easy with such good guidance. Will definitely see you again Josh hopefully on the track days

Fantastic experience: Motodojo has without a doubt the BEST post-licence motorbike training courses in all of Brisbane! Their Rider Development Program has 3 courses, all of which riders do at the famous Lakeside Raceway (near Petrie). This circuit and Motodojo's courses are perfect for enabling riders to practice and master the components of great cornering technique (braking, steering, line selection, body positioning, etc.) Today I just did their full day, 8-hour 'Cornering and Body Position' course with Matt and Sam. Wow! You will not find any other cornering courses in Brisbane that are so professionally delivered, by such highly-qualified, clear, patient and experienced riders/instructors at such an affordable price. The teaching is first-class, the circuit is clean, interesting and challenging, progress is assured, and laughter and friendship are abundant from beginning to end. I've lost count of how many times I've done Motodojo's cornering courses at Lakeside Raceway. I can't get enough of their teaching. In my opinion, they just get better and better, if that were possible. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks guys, so very much!

Fantastic experience: I just finished a Rider Development Day with the motodojo crew and it was nothing short of sensational. They are a team with humour, humility, authenticity, and great knowledge and professionalism. All this made the instruction so easy to understand and apply, and made the day very safe and heaps of fun. I definitely rode away from the course a better rider than when I arrived this morning. Fantastic experience: I completed my pre-learners course at MotoDojo under Josh’s instruction. The structure of the course is perfect for any new riders who may have little to no experience. It had been years since I had been on a bike so the simple basics leading up to the actual riding of the bike was so helpful. Josh did a great job not only teaching the fundamentals but also providing helpful insight into how to approach riding safely. He also kept the class light with his humor which helped remove the nervousness of learning to ride. I look forward to continuing to learn and hopefully return for my RE class soon.

Attended my first riding lesson ever, with limited knowledge of motorcycles, how to ride or if I could even touch the ground I walked away feeling like a giant & on cloud 9! Both John & Matt were patient, engaged, attentive, strategic in their teaching methods & fit as fiddles as they ran behind us at first, (think of teaching a child to ride a bike with no training wheels, as it felt a bit like that at first). Although, no one was running after me when I was learning to ride a bicycle but anyway… I digress. I’m so thankful they were ever present as I felt SO safe! John & Matt are fun and extremely knowledgeable! They will build your motorcycle & riding knowledge on crucial foundations, which I found enhanced my confidence levels. Safety was paramount. John really helped explain aspects of the vehicle and road craft, at a level you can understand. Fantastic experience: I did an introduction course to motorcycles since I was uncertain whether I wanted to ride or not. And sure enough! I do! Thanks to Matthew M for such a great lesson and making sure the other riders and I felt safe and answering any questions we had. He was very experienced and taught us the basics of posture, the foundations of motorcycles etc. Highly recommend taking an intro course before committing to getting your license if you’re not sure :)

Fantastic experience: Aron’s review is false. He was late and held us up and the following class. Clearly stated in several emails to be on time. I’ve only had dirt bike experience, as a female, saw Maddy was a trainer, and felt comfortable enrolling. John was my rider trainer, and made all of us feel welcome and accepted off the bat. Regardless of experience, he will get you there. I will only recommend MotoDojo, there’s no need to look elsewhere in SEQ. Would love to be able to purchase stickers for my car and bike though :)

Fantastic experience: John is a legend, even killed the wasps nest too. If you are a beginner, you are in great hands. I hadn't been riding for 2years. But I got 1 on 1 help with John, and learner road ride. The extra training helped me and gain confidence on the road again. Finished my RE's now I can safely/ confidently go out on the road again. Fantastic experience: Motodojo is an outstanding training center! I'd never really rode a motorbike before so going in I was nervous. Fortunately, myself alongside another four riders were blessed to have Nate teach us the ropes. Nate quickly settled us into a fun, safe and relaxed environment. This undoubtedly brought out the best results for each new & returning rider. It rained heavily through both our 6 hour training/assessment sessions. Again, fortunately through Nate's down-to-earth attitude we all had the confidence to breeze through and earn our learners! I'll certainly be coming back here to upgrade my license!

Fantastic experience: Completed my Prelearners and then RE course here. Phil is a great guy. So funny. And for someone who went into this with absolutely zero experience in riding a motorbike- I came out the end of it with being able to complete my learner course and also be able to ride and manoeuvre a bike safely and with confidence. These guys are great- their knowledge is amazing, their experiences are vast and also in different areas. Phil was so amazing at helping me understand more technical things in a way that I was able to understand as a complete beginner- and a female in a class of guys with dirt bike experience. 100% would recommend these guys if you were looking at doing any form of training for your motorbike license. Fantastic experience: The instructors at Motodojo are a great bunch - super helpful and patient! I am a total beginner of riding a motorcycle and I have learnt a lot of good foundations and knowledge through their learner classes. I did a few private lessons with Guy - he is absolutely amazing .. he really gave 100% to help me buildup my confidence.The passion from these people mde me feel supported and encouraged. I am very thankful to have started my learning here. Fantastic experience: Thank you to Maddy, Phil and John for my experience with MotoDojo! Completed their 2 day learner course as a refresher after originally getting my learners 2 years ago with very minimal riding experience. Learner course with Maddy and Phil went extremely well, super patient, and really took their times to teach the fundamentals of not only riding the bikes but also thinking as a rider. I then did a one on one session with John for my first road ride and brushing up my slow manoeuvring techniques before my RE assessment which ended up being a success! Since then I’ve purchased a bike and have been riding confidently on the roads! I’ll be popping in to do their driver development courses in the future! A huge thank you again guys! I don’t think I’d have my confidence in riding if it wasn’t for you guys!
