Negative experience: John switches his act around when the parents aren’t in the car. he was extremely rude when they weren’t there. Yelling and screaming at me which made me not only make mistakes but made me stay away from a car for a good 2-4 weeks I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Negative experience: John should not be teaching children, he is extremely inappropriate and creepy, do not recommend

Negative experience: I had a lesson with John at macedon ranges driving school. As a young female, he made me feel very uncomfortable. He made a series of judgemental comments and assumptions about me after only having met him for a few minutes. He kept calling me sweetie which I didn't like and touched my arm several times as he reached for the wheel. He also made several hurtful comments about my driving skills. Will definitely not be going back

Fantastic experience: Absolute 10/10, I was so nervous when I got into the car with a stranger for the first time, but Ian made it so much fun. He's so encouraging and an amazing person to say the least. He helped me to build both my confidence and skill in driving. Would 110% recommend !!

Fantastic experience: John is absolutely fantastic - came to the rescue when my car wasn’t suitable for the drive test, was there in less than 10 minutes with a manual as requested, ready to get me comfortable with the car minutes before the test. Absolutely phenomenal and my thanks are endless

Fantastic experience: Ian took my daughter for her driving lessons and was absolutely wonderful and explained everything to her. I also went along once and it gave me great insight into what the tester is is looking for he is a very experienced instructor. He really alleviated her anxiety and the whole experience was so much less stressful. Thanks again and I can’t recommend this driving school highly enough.

Fantastic experience: John was great. Not all heroes wear capes aye. Whilst everyone said it would take a while for me to get my p's, John didn't. I went from being scared of driving to having my ps in 8-9 weeks. I have John to thank. Thank you, John

Fantastic experience: Best driving school ever! You don't need to be worry about your driving test, just take a lesson from John who is an amazing, professional, and funny instructor I 've ever seen! He has perfect formulas that will save your life in the test because they saved mine:) so I passed it thanks to u, John. I strongly recommend him for everyone and every level. Moreover, you should meet with him to update your driving skills and traffic knowledge. So you guys better call John:)

Negative experience: John made me uncomfortable and made comments about female pedestrians. Always grabbed my arms while I was driving instead of telling me what to do. Yelled at me for misjudging the speed of another car on test day. I failed my test to say the least.

Fantastic experience: A big thankyou to the driving instructor John - he is absolutely sensational! He gives clear explanations, shows how to do different maneuvres and lets you practice until you make it perfect . Also, he knew exactly how much time I needed in order to pass my test the first time which I successfully did. Recommend. Both automatic/manual available.
