The Professional Driving Consultancy (PDC) succeeded (in 2004) the Dynamic Defensive Driving ('3D') School which opened in Lismore NSW 2480 in May 1993.
PDC's helped 3000+ clients.
PDC stresses the importance of 'comfort' in learning to drive. So clients are driven (for free) to a safe and easy start-off place.
PDC uses its copyrighted 3D WorkSheet
. to frame the activity of driving;
. to deepen clients' learning during the
sessions;
. to act as a reference in private practice;
. to enable 2 hour sessions - reducing
'changeover time' & for cheaper rates
per hour;
. to incentivise the provision of private practice.
So PDC's driving lessons are very affordable!!

Fantastic experience: Being of mature age (62) and having never held a driver's licence I was at the beginning a very nervous student who also lacked some self confidence. Charles was so patient, understanding and professional in his approach that it was only after a few lessons I was driving with confidence and much more relaxed. Because of circumstances due to covid I ended up doing my test in Ballina which was unfamiliar territory and amazingly passed the test with no errors. Thanks Charles forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: I approached Charles as i needed to convert my overseas licence to an unrestricted Australian one, and ended up taking one thorough 2.5 hours driving lesson right before my scheduled driving test. Charles took me all around Lismore and potential testing routes, while stopping me at strategic points to sketch and emphasise essential driving theories. As English is my second language, Charles took the time to explain in detail, made sure of my understanding, and was kind and patient to my needs. I passed the test on that day! Testing route was almost identical to what Charles had practiced me with, and i must say the whole experience felt pleasant and much less stressful thanks to his easy going personality and teaching methods. I would definitely recommend Professional Driving Consultancy to any learner, especially to overseas licence holders! Can't imagine passing the test without taking that full preparation lesson, and very thankful for Charles professional and super friendly approach.

Fantastic experience: Great teacher to learn to drive safely by avoiding risky situtations. Passed first time by following the guides that Charles taught me (100%). Fantastic experience: I passed my test only after a handful of lessons from Charles and with flying colours (got 1 point away from full marks)! He is such an amazing teacher, knows how to make me feel more calm while driving. I even actually find that he makes driving fun! Fantastic experience: Make this school your number one choice! Professional driving consultancy is undoubtedly the BEST driving school available in the north coast region. Due to certain anxieties and fears I avoided Obtaining my licence until will into my twenties and can safely say that this course changed my life in the most powerful way. Upon completing this course, I passed my licence test with flying colours and an extremely high score! I and am now the confident and able driver I always longed to be. Fantastic experience: With the help of Charles I managed to get my license first go. He is a calm, friendly instructor who has helped improve my driving skills greatly. With his clever tips and tricks, he helps hone all the skills required to be a safe driver, including three-point turns and reverse parallel parks. On top of this, his rates are extremely competitive. Highly recommended- 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: The best driving instructor i have had i did 5 2 Hr lessons and got my red Ps first go with a 100% pass mark he's work sheet is a well constructed idea and easy to under stand and has a good rebate when you have a few lessons with him highly recommended 15/10

Fantastic experience: Charles is an excellent driving instructor and teacher! I completed five 2 hour driving lessons with him and not only did he teach me how to drive, he goes the extra mile and teaches why we drive and also explains how the gears in the car function. I found it easy to talk to Charles and understand his teaching methods through his wonderful teaching structure which has improved my driving skills more in 5 weeks then I have in a year. I would definitely recommend Professional Driving Consultancy for learning and improving your driving skills.
