Negative experience: Beware of Misleading Practices at This Driving School As an international license holder with four years of driving experience, I sought this driving school in Sydney to familiarize myself with the local road test requirements. Unfortunately, my experience was fraught with deception and inadequate instruction, leading me to strongly advise against using their services . 1. Pricing Deception: Initially, I was quoted $40 per hour for driving lessons, amounting to $80 for a two-hour session. However, on the day of the lesson, I was abruptly informed that the cost would be $150 for two hours. This stark difference in pricing was not only unprofessional but also a clear case of bait-and-switch tactics. 2. Inadequate Communication: Throughout my two hours of practice, I repeatedly sought feedback and specifics about the Sydney road test. Sadly, the instructor was often vague, and at times, outright ignored my queries. This lack of clear communication was not only frustrating but also hindered my learning process. 3. Critical Omission in Instruction: The most glaring issue was the instructor's failure to emphasize the importance of extensive head and shoulder checks during the test. Unaware of this critical aspect, I failed my road test the following day, being specifically marked down for insufficient head checks during a three-point turn—a requirement I was completely uninformed about by my instructor. 4. Unnecessary Additional Charges: After completing my lesson, the instructor suggested that if I wished to use my vehicle for the test, I would require their accompaniment and incur additional fees. This claim was directly contradicted by the NSW Service, which confirmed that my international license exempted me from such a requirement. This misinformation further illustrates the untrustworthy nature of the school's practices. In summary, my experience with this driving school was overwhelmingly negative, marked by misleading pricing, poor communication, inadequate training, and questionable business ethics. I urge potential customers to seek instruction elsewhere to avoid similar disappointments.
