Negative experience: Terrible

Fantastic experience: After driving for many years and always enjoying it, I lost my confidence after breaking my wrist. I had a 'lesson' with Michael who put me through the ropes, gave clear instructions, gave me opportunities for corners, hills, roundabouts, highways, lights etc and did it all with kindness, understanding and a bit of welcome humour. I am so grateful. Thank you, Michael and Crossroads.

Negative experience: The driving displayed by the instructor is absolutely appalling. Tail gating, speeding down residential streets, blocking merging traffic and driving down the wrong side of the road to pass a car that was parallel parking. Clearly has no regard for the road laws or the safety of others and perhaps needs to resit his licence!

Fantastic experience: I did both my Auto & Manual licenses with Mike from Crossroads. I looked forward to every lesson with him. He's easy to get along with and have a friendly human like conversation with which makes you feel at ease while behind the wheel. Crossroads cars are modern, safe, clean and equipped with dual controls. Mike has nearly 4 decades of experience as a driving instructor in the Nillumbik, Banyule, Whittlesea and Manningham Council Areas he knows his way around! He'll take you through everything on every lesson and all the strategies you'll need to pass your test. That's why Crossroads is the leading driving school in the north!

Negative experience: Michael was admittedly a good instructor. Only downside was he spent 4 minutes on the phone to a parent of another student during my class. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Don’t recommend, swearing- telling me that I’m gonna keep failing, passed it easy..

Negative experience: I had lessons with Michael as a Learner during which he would do the following: - Talk on the phone (to his ear) and direct me with hand signals. - Wear open toed shoes. - Blast me for minor mistakes that every learner will make. - Forced me to take a photo with my licence, which he posted on Facebook despite me asking him not to. If you want you/your child to get treated like a piece of s**t, hire Michael from Crossroads as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: Mike has now helped both our kids get their licences. He is great at relating to the kids, he is very patient and relaxed and gives them the confidence and instruction required. Keep up the great work Mike.

Positive experience: Mike is a very detailed instructor and very strait forward, which is exactly what you want from a driving instructor whilst going to get your license. His strait forward nature can sometimes be unexpected and come off a little brash but it ultimately is what makes him the successful instructor he is. Highly recommend as he prepares you with the skillset needed to pass the test!

Positive experience: Michael was a great instructor, can be a bit on the rougher side, but helped motivate me to take control and pass my test first try in torrential rain! Strongly recommend

Fantastic experience: Mike was a wonderful teacher for my older daughter, who has now had her license for 3 years. He started my younger daughter off when she first got her Learners, and we are about to use his services again as she approaches 18 and will go for her license soon. Mike will pick the kids up from home or school and drop them off at a suitable location after the lesson, which is extremely helpful! I have recommended Mike and Crossroads to many people who have asked about driving lessons for their kids!

Fantastic experience: Mike at Crossroads taught me how to drive whilst I was on my L's and it was a great experience. He was friendly, patient and I felt very comfortable taking my first lessons and my final drivers lesson with him. Thanks, Mike!

Negative experience: The way this guy drives, no way should you trust him to teach you. Speeding, tailgating, unnecessary lane changes - you can learn all the worst habits here.

Negative experience: This morning Old Mate was speeding well over 60 on Main Road Eltham to get to the traffic lights, sped through a red arrow narrowly missing cars and pedestrians. Great example of driving in your marked business car mate! Has reported to police.

Negative experience: Michael acted nice when my parents were around but when they weren’t he was nothing but rude
