I went to pick up manual after doing majority of my hours in an automatic, so I felt very nervous going into it, though I felt so comfortable learning with him! Mickey is so attentive, supportive and patient during the process, it helped me stay very calm during our lessons. The lessons are a lot of fun, with a balance of friendly conversation during the drive but never distracting from the lessons itself - I looked forward to them every week! Due to personal circumstances (and admittedly not giving myself enough time to pick up the skill as I had booked my test rashly), I was unable to go through with taking my test in manual, but Mickey immediately jumped onto sorting out another instructor to accompany me to my test. It speaks volumes to the level of care and service provided from start to finish! Thank you so much for your help with everything, Mickey! Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn manual.

He also really knows his stuff and gives you plenty of tips and tricks to past your test (and make you a better driver). He's great and I really recommend learning with him.

Fantastic experience: I have only ever driven a manual car with Mickey, so he was the only teacher I had. And I have to say, he is the best manual teacher and person to drive with. He makes sure that you are fully ready and shows you everything you need to know while at the same time being a great company. I passed on my first time almost with a perfect score and it’s all thanks to Mickey. Thank you for everything and I’ll miss our lessons!

Fantastic experience: I had been struggling with getting my manual license for a while with a previous instructor until i heard about Mickey from a facebook group and it was one of the best decisions ive made Mickey is a great driving instructor who has a more fun laid back approach to teaching and i went from being unsure if i'd ever get my license to passing my test within 3-4 months cannot recommend him enough 10/10

Fantastic experience: I had struggled for a while to find the right driver instructor. I had spent two years with multiple different instructors attempting to learn manuals. I was on the verge of quitting all together and was almost tempted to give up and learn auto instead, that's until I got a recommendation from one of my mates to see Mickey. ITS INCREDIBLE to describe how quickly things change. Within a couple of weeks I had gone from not feeling confident at all on the roads and stalling at every intersection to smoothly down clutching around roundabouts and feeling confident on everything from backroads to highways. I now have my license after having passed it on my first attempt. If you had previously told me I would have my full manual license after seeing him for just 12 lessons I would not have believed you and yet here I am. Nothing but gratitude for the quality of the lessons and the good chats. The 20+ years of experience really shows on the road, never felt safer with and felt more prepared than all the other instructors I had tried. Cream of the crop, best in west, 10/10.
