Fantastic experience: #1 best driving teacher Jess, I just want to say a huge thank you! Starting out so late and being so nervous to start, you really made me feel so incredibly comfortable. You got to know me as a person and catered perfectly to what I needed as a learner driver. I really don’t know what I would have done without you, you’ve changed my life. If you’re just starting out, wanting car therapy or only want a mock test, I 100% recommend Thumbs Up Driving School! You will not regret it. Jess is an absolute Outstanding teacher, who really loves her job and her clients (you can really tell.) I can not Thank You enough for making me feel comfortable and teaching me how to be safe on the roads! I will miss our little chats!!

Fantastic experience: I had Jess as my instructor and words cannot describe just how awesome she is. She helped me out when I first got my Ls and then more recently with my Ps test. She is incredibly kind and friendly and made me feel so much more confident whilst driving. She is so patient and always up for a chat. Her amount of knowledge is insane and you'll get to test day feeling more than ready. Whether it be lessons after only just getting your Ls, to going for your Ps, I cannot recommend Thumbs Up enough! Fantastic experience: Thumbs Up Driving School is the most understanding, supportive, fun and empathetic drive school to learn all the skills needed to pass your test Learning from both the amazing Jess and Odette, I am forever grateful for their support through my stress leading up to the big day. Their hard work every lesson, giving me tips for areas to improve as well as what I have already aced moving forward was incredible. They also allow flexibility in focusing on what you are still unsure about. I would recommend Thumbs Up Driving School to absolutely anyone who is wanting to be a successful driver.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend thumbs up driving school enough. As someone who had a big fear of driving and never wanted to get there license I've just past the driving test this past week with the help of both Jess and Odette. These are two amazing women who I had the pleasure of getting to know during our lessons and that made every bit of my anxiety go away. Fantastic experience: Jess was my driving instructor when I was 17 and was with me for my test on my 18th birthday! She calmed my nerves down a lot and prepared me to pass my test and be a safe driver throughout life! Whenever people ask me for a recommendation, I'm always sending them to Thumbs Up Driving School!

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than 5 stars to thumbs up driving school I would. I went from being an insanely anxious driver who truly didn’t believe they would ever get out on the road to passing my test in the first go. I would like to thank Jess for being so accommodating and understanding if dates of lessons needed to be changed and her timely replies to all of my queries. I truly cannot thank Odette enough for the confidence she has given me. Her kind and understanding nature helped me so much to believe in myself and my capabilities. Six months ago I didn’t believe I would ever drive, but here I am today. Each and every lesson Odette built upon my abilities and she was a wealth of knowledge, answering every question I had and ensuring I knew exactly what I was doing right up until test day. I 100% recommend this driving school to any driver, especially the anxious driver.

Fantastic experience: Who would have thought writing a simple review would be more difficult than getting my P’s. I certainly did not. Yet to try and sum up both Jess and Odette in a few sentences is extremely difficult. I thank you both so much. Not only for teaching me how to drive but for the laughs and chats along the way. You have not only been ‘teachers’ but friends. You have taught me more then just the basics to be a safer driver and not just a ‘VicRoads routes driver’ and for that I will be forever thankful. I trust myself now driving with the kiddos and if you had told me this time last year, I would have my license and be loving driving I simply would have laughed. Fantastic experience: Jess! I don't even know where to start - she has absolutely changed my life. I'm 37. My lack of licence has always been a source of shame for me. I would shrink if it ever came up. But sometimes in life things just get away from you...and then you're in a car crash that gives you PTSD, and then Covid comes and stops you getting lessons, and then you fall pregnant and don't want to drive pregnant and, and well...years go by in a flash. But I'd look at my little boy every day, and I'd feel awful that I couldn't just pop him in the car and take him on an adventure and have fun. I was so tired of relying on others to help us out if we had appointments. I couldn't live like that anymore. So, I went on the search for the best instructor I could find, and I 10000% believe I found the very best one in the world. Jess gave me the confidence to do this. I didn't know if I could before I met her. Years of not driving gave me so much self doubt. I mean, was it even meant to be for me? Maybe I'm not meant to drive? But, she made everything make sense, made everything feel doable, made it all feel possible, and by the end - even second nature. Because of her, I passed today! And not only pass, but apparently pass with flying colours. The PTSD twitch isn’t anywhere to be found. I'm so, so happy and can't wait to take my little boy and family on adventures. My husband deserves a rest. Beach, here we come! Thank you so much Jess. You helped me conquer the biggest demon in my life and I'll be forever grateful for having met you

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Jess highly enough! Jess goes above and beyond with her patience, knowledge, and caring nature to make sure you become a confident driver and pass your driving test. I knew from the first lesson Jess was the instructor for me whn she was understanding of my hesitance to drive due to a previous car accident, she understood and slowly built up my confidence to drive over 5kms to high speeds of 80-100kms. I cannot thank you enough for the confidence and knowledge you have given me! xx

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Jess highly enough! Today I passed my ps test on my first try! I had a bad experience with a previous driving instructor and the level of care and attention Jess provides is completely unmatched not only do u feel like you are in the best hands possible but u know Jess has the absolute best interests for you and for your journey getting your license! She is so passionate about what she does and it shows clearly through her work! I was a very nervous driver and Jess did the absolute best job making me feel confident in my driving abilities and taught me so much in a way that was easy for me too learn and always created a calm and welcoming environment in any lesson I had with her! Jess is not only the best driving instructor out but also one of the most genuine and caring person! Odette is also such an amazing person and taught me so much and also made me feel so welcomed and calm! Again there is no one better I would recommend if you’re searching around for the best place! Fantastic experience: This has to be the best driving school around. I can’t recommend Jess highly enough. She was more than we could ask for for our daughters driving and my daughter honestly could not have passed her test so well without the supportive and caring nature of Jess. I did a thorough search of instructors online as my daughter has high anxiety and is prone to panic attacks, and when I read the reviews for Thumbs Up I just knew that Jess would be the perfect choice for her. With only a month before my daughters booked test, Jess went above and beyond in moving and juggling things around, including her personal life, to accomodate her lessons and test date. She clearly has so much care and dedication to her business, and her students. Jess taught my daughter so much in her lessons, and she quickly became so much more confident, knowing she had a great instructor who was also going to be there on test day offering her full support and easing the stress and anxiety. Nicole passed first time and did extremely well, and we have Jess to thank for firstly providing the knowledge, but also giving her the confidence to realise her skills and ability. She has been given the best start to her driving experience, thanks a million Jess, you’re the best!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Odette. she is lovely, calm and and great teacher. having had lessons with a previous instructor and not feeling any improvements, as soon as I started with Odette I could see improvements in my driving straight away. Odette is also very comfortable to drive with, and will just laugh it off with you if you make a mistake and also will give amazing feedback to make sure it doesn’t happen again! 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: To anyone looking for the most amazing driving teacher in Geelong, I can’t highly recommend Jess enough for her expert knowledge and for teaching not one but two of my children the right way to drive. Recently my daughter went for her driving test and was 95% of the way through when the tester called an Immediate Termination Error(fail). However Jess knew this wasn’t the right decision under testing criteria. Once they got back to VicRoads Jess explained to the tester how this was an incorrect call and under testing criteria it was a Critical Error (for signal) to be recorded not an I.T.E.(instant fail). Jess then had to follow the procedure and raise the issue with the supervisor. After Jess explained in detail and at length about what happened and how the tester made the incorrect call under testing criteria, the supervisor over turned the decision and offered Angellè a free re-test. Jess wasn’t finished having my daughters back! Jess didn’t accept this result, she then when on to explain testing criteria decision’s for the 95% of the test my daughter had already gotten through and how she had driven beautifully throughout her test. Decision was made to now not only overturn the test but to pass my daughter and she received her P’s. Thank you so much again Jess for being a true professional and for your kind and caring nature, it made a huge difference for my daughter’s anxiety driving. I am ever so grateful to you.

Fantastic experience: Jess is an amazing instructor who made me feel super comfortable in all my lessons and helped calm my nerves on my test day, she prepared me for any possible situation during the test which caused me to pass first time. Jess is super easy to talk to and is very fun to be around. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Jess 100% Jess has changed my life she has given me a gift that I never thought I could achieve. Over the years I have driven with many other driving instructors that never fully understood my anxiety, no matter what I tried it never worked, I hated driving I had pretty much given up on the possibility of ever achieving getting my license. From the first time I got into the car with Jess I knew it would be different not only is Jess a great person she also has a wealth of experience and has a really calm demeanour. I feel so lucky that I have made a friend I have also achieved getting my license which is something that I never thought would happen. I will always be so grateful Jess, thank you for everything you have done for me you have literally changed my life. Keep kicking goals!
