Alan was so patient and kind, helped me get rid of many of my bad driving habits and build my confidence in driving so much. Fantastic experience: I took about five lessons with Alan, and I passed my driving test on the first attempt. Alan really helped a lot in correcting my bad driving habits. His instruction is detailed and can be easily understood. And he is good at telling whether you are fully prepared or not. So if Alan says you can take the test, be confident! Fantastic experience: Overall, Alan is an outright good bloke and the best driving instructor that you could hire. If he rode motorcycles, I'd ask him to teach me that too. Alan will not only prepare you for the test better than any other instructor on the market, but also guarantees that you gain an understanding of how to drive safely and effectively in the broader scheme of life. In terms of preparing for the test. Alan methodically walks you through how to perfect each manoeuvre and explains the importance and relevance of each action excellently in simple, direct words. Leaving you able to physically do what you need to, but also having an in depth understanding of things that might otherwise seem random. He also prepares you as an individual for the driving test, through conversation he is able to gain an understanding of your personality in relation to driving and teach you how to handle the painful pressure of a test by overcoming you're coping mechanisms to the pressure. Not only does he teach you how to drive like a veteran, he makes sure you are calm and confident before heading into the dreaded centre. As the start of the review suggests. Overall, old mate Alan is a great bloke and an even better teacher.
