Fantastic experience: After experiencing other driving instructors while doing a NSW Safe Drivers Course, I can really say that Raj is unlike any other instructor. His lessons have taught me skills and life lessons that I will continue to use every day. Raj is so incredibly helpful, supportive and genuine.

Fantastic experience: My experience with RAJ from licencePlus was beyond amazing. I am glad that we met and I got the opportunity to learn driving skills from him. Thanks to him that I got my full driver licence NSW on the first attempt. I was an overseas driver and new to the traffic rules and regulations in Sydney and it was making me extremely anxious. Raj understood my issues and worked patiently with me on the core issues. He is extremely patient, friendly, reliable and understanding. His mission is to bring safe drivers on the road. He entrusts the process and focuses on the end goal of being safe on the road. Getting licence is a byproduct of his style of teaching. His sessions are so well planned that they cover the rules, regulations, fail items, do’s and don’ts with a wonderful mix of theory, practical, questions, mock sessions, making you well verse with the area and warm up session. He teaches the learner what is precisely expected to be done and teaches to avoid doing the unnecessary checks and tasks which make the learners overwhelmed. He gives a logical reason for the things expected from a driver and hence makes it easy for a learner to follow them. He conducted my mock test before my final test and gave all the relevant feedback. Also, on the day of the test, he took my warm up session which was immensely beneficial and reassuring that I am well prepared to be a safe driver. He was with me as a family and ensured that I am relaxed and comfortable before the test. He cracked jokes and made me laugh too. :) If you are looking for success in driving, being safe and also getting your licence in your first attempt, he is your go to person. I highly recommend him and wish him success in his endeavors to bring safe drivers on the road. I wish there were more people like Raj who were mentoring learners and inculcating the safe practices which would stay forever with them and keep them as well as others’ safe on road. Negative experience: Who takes an L-plater through Galston gorge at 20km per hour on a Saturday!!! Massive queue behind you and didn’t even stop halfway through to let everyone pass. So selfish.

Fantastic experience: My son took the training lessons from Raj at LicencePlus Driving School. We took a lesson package as advised by Raj. My son was so confident after his lessons that he started driving long distance trips without any hesitation. I also noticed that the training provided by Raj was excellent. After completing 1 year and required hours, my son took another 3 class package with Raj and gave the test for his provisional 1 driver’s licence. He got his licence in the first attempt. It’s important to have the correct instructor who can teach our kids, we are so happy that we took the right decision to go ahead with Raj. Fantastic experience: I had Raj as my instructor - I had an exam in 2 weeks that I was completely unprepared for. In only 4 lessons, however, Raj rebuilt all of my knowledge and gave me the confidence to walk into the driving test and ace it. His teaching methods were great and I cannot recommend LicensePlus enough!

Fantastic experience: Raj is the instructor that someone I know recommended to me. He tried to fix all my old habits into a safe driving habit. He always supportive and positive, which actually helps me to gain confidence to drive. He also spare some of his time to give extra times because I missed some of the course. He also always let me know when he has free schedule to fit me as it is hard for me to get a fix schedule. Very patient, supportive and nice, always make you feel proud of yourself but also able to correct your mistake to be better.

Fantastic experience: Raj is a legend in the area which is why we called him as my daughters friends have all worked with him when preparing for their P's. He has a very calm, warm personality that instantly makes the kids feel at ease which helps them absorb the training. Raj sets them up to feel confident when heading into the test. Our daughter passed her test today, first go only making one minor error which was amazing. Fantastic experience: Raj took me from a cripplingly timid learner to a confident driver over several months of training. He taught me the fundamentals and helped me to build on them, taking me on a full range of routes to gain practice working on roads all over Sydney, not just the area where I would be taking my test. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Raj and LicensePlus enough, if you're learning to drive, or even just want to be a better, safer, more confident driver. You can't ask for better instruction and guidance! I absolutely dreaded getting behind the wheel and made no real effort to try until, at 28, I finally decided to see if I could get some proper training. My sincerest thanks to whatever winds of fate caused me to pick Raj and License Plus when I did. Raj did two VERY simple things for me. 1. He taught me the way I needed to be taught, and 2. He believed I could do it. Simple things, but CRITICAL things. He pushed me when I needed pushing, he explained to me and educated me when I needed to know the 'why' of things to really properly internalise them, he accepted and didn't judge my various hangups and worries and fears, and most importantly helped me build up my trust in myself. That sounds more like a friend or a family member doesn't it? That's another great thing about Raj. He doesn't just sit there and clinically read the road rules at you. He doesn't just run you through the driving test courses over and over again, and if you ever need to drive on any other road well that's not his problem. No. Raj genuinely cares about his students. I know that's a cliched almost meaningless tickbox these days like "Of course we care about our students here at Generic McFaceless Corporation", but it's something truly special to see it, to feel it, and to KNOW that it's actually true. To Raj you're not just an invoice or a dollar value in a spreadsheet. Ironically for me, with Raj it feels much like you're being taught by a member of your family. Heck I probably chatted with Raj more often and for longer, than my actual family, and I love them dearly. I haven't even really gotten to the driving part have I? Well he was all over that part as well! Raj has a wealth of experience, not only as a testing officer, but more broadly as a safe, responsible, and correct driver who practises what he preaches. I don't recall a single time when he didn't know the answer whenever I had any questions about this traffic rule or that scenario, and he would reinforce the answers with either diagrams on a whiteboard, or an example he knew of nearby (sometimes both!). He also provided fantastic guidance through a broad variety of driving scenarios and conditions, which he artfully and masterfully arranged for me to experience during our lessons. The fact that he made it appear so effortless while covering so much, is a testament to how much time and energy he invests in his students. Most importantly to me though was that Raj also shares my attitude on how people should learn to drive, and continue to drive thereafter. The law considers a car to be a deadly weapon, and for good reason. Overkill is absolutely not underrated when it comes to operating them safely. So I was overjoyed to hear Raj say one day, in one of our very first sessions, something like "You shouldn't be learning just to pass the test. Lots of people drive one way for the test and then another way the rest of the time. That's wrong, you should always drive like you're being tested. You should always drive as the book says, because that's the safe way. That's the right way. If you drive that way, you'll be one of the safest drivers on the road." I remember thinking "He gets it!", and many many conversations later, I no-longer think it, I know it. I have entirely Raj to thank (though he'll tell you I should thank myself as well, I know better) when I say that where I was once a nervous worrier who failed his L's test twice before passing and constantly found reasons to avoid learning to drive, I am now a confident and correct driver who passed his P's test first go with a perfect score, and I have absolute trust in my ability to continue to be a safe and responsible driver in the future.

Fantastic experience: Hi there! I recently received my P plates thanks to my driver instructor, Raj. Before I enrolled in this driving school, I went to another driving school to get my first 30 hours of driving. It was a complete waste of my money and time. My old instructor yelled at me and I became fearful of driving. At some point, I even thought I will not be able to drive. I had spent all the hours I paid for driving in quite streets and was not confident to move to traffic as my instructor kept yelling at me and lowering my self-esteem. However, through a friend, I found out about Licence Plus and Raj. Initially, I enrolled in only one class because of my previous experience, just wanting to get a feel for how his lessons were going to be. That first lesson changed the way I felt about driving. Raj was patient with me and gave me the confidence to drive. He was very good when showing me techniques like reverse parallel parking, 3 point turn, and curb-side stop and lane change. After that, I booked packages with Raj and I was already driving in traffic. I could see a great improvement when I switched my driving lesson with Raj. We went driving not just in traffic, but drove to faraway places like to beaches, temples and shopping centres; to places I enjoy visiting. Each lesson I honed my driving skills but along with that Raj built my confidence. He told me that I was capable of being a safe driver on the road. During my lesson, we spoke about many topics but I enjoyed when we spoke about spirituality. That’s what made our trips so enjoyable. Lessons never felt like lessons. It felt like I was driving with a friend. He not only taught me to drive but to enjoy driving and be a safe driver on the road. He gave so much information in way I could understand. I always looked forward to our driving lessons. Getting my P plates were a bittersweet moment because, I was so happy that I could drive on my own but at the same time, I was going to miss driving lessons with Raj. I am never going to forget Raj and what he has taught me.

Fantastic experience: Raj is Expensive but it is worth that money instead of paying many cheaper instructors. He maintains personal relations with clients follows up with messages on doubts-that’s his USP As he has been a driving inspector before he knows routes and rules well, I recommend him for new learner’s and those who have to unlearn wrong driving too.
