Learn 2 Ride Motorcycle Training

Negative experience: Booked a lesson a week prior and I turned up at the website location 10 minutes early. Heard no reply asking about the location and if the lesson was still on. Called 4 times and decided to cancel as I waited for 30+ minutes for a reply. Extremely unprofessional and a waste of time.

Fantastic experience: Scott is sensational, patient, easy to understand and straight to the point. He wasted no time putting me through my paces while still give the focus and attention to detail where it was required.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking to obtain your motorcycle license, then Learn2Ride is by far the BEST company for you to learn with. A bit of backstory, I first obtained my R-E LAMS learners permit way back in 2018/19, and was super excited to get stuck into lessons. I had 2 back-to back, weekly lessons with a different company based in Rockingham (not mentioning their name) and was really discouraged as I felt like I was just a time filler, rather than an actual appreciated student. All we did for two weeks was learning theory, and I staggered around a carpark while the instructor just sat on his bike and told me what to do (not even showing me). While this style of learning may work for others, it definitely didn't suit me! I eventually gave up and allowed my learners permit to expire. Definitely not a good first experience. Fast forward to 2022, I was bitten by the bug again and decided to give it another crack! I renewed my permit on the Wednesday, and then searched online for a new company to learn with. I found Learn2Ride and texted them that evening enquiring about lessons, and Scott responded within a few hours! We booked in for a 2 hour lesson the following Wednesday, and I was immediately blown away by how approachable, practical, and involved Scott was with my learning. In our very first lesson, Scott not only surpassed any previous 'learning' I did with the previous company, but we also went out onto the public roads and travelled all through Secret Harbour, Port Kennedy, Warnbro, Rockingham, Waikiki, Kwinana, and Baldivis! I couldn't believe just how quickly my skills developed under Scott's tutelage. Any questions that I had he was able to answer immediately, and he also showed me extensively the correct riding techniques that I needed to know, not just for the PDA, but also to keep me safe and potentially save my life out on the roads! I cannot recommend Scott and Learn2Ride highly enough. If you are looking for an excellent motorcycle instructor, who will teach you practical, real-world skills and techniques, and will provide you with the skills and knowledge to become an excellent rider, then look no further than Learn2Ride!

Fantastic experience: 3 months ago I had never been on a bike and had started lessons with another company. This instructor made me feel like I wasn’t competent to ride, and kept going over the same items every lesson. Feeling disheartened I reached out to friends for a recommendation of a new instructor and Scott from Learn2Ride was highly recommended. After getting my licence today, I can’t speak highly enough of Scott. He takes the time to really understand you as in individual, is a calming influence and goes above and beyond. Today is a highlight for me getting my licence, I will miss the rides with Scott as it was so relaxed and he always put my mind at ease. Fantastic experience: Wanted a lesson before a test and this was excellent. Great ride from estuary to coast with all the tips and tricks to ride safe and smart. Top bloke, could easily have a beer with this guy down the pub. 10/10

Fantastic experience: After a bad start with another training business, my reluctantance to continue and a massive whinge, I was given Scott’s details. Being a new female rider who is very particular, I was a little apprehensive to call but once I spoke to Scott I felt immediately he was my guy. Scott is a relaxed instructor who makes you feel like you’re riding with a mate while ensuring you ride safe and learn the skill to keep you that way. He teaches in a way that anyone can understand and tailor’s the lesson to each person. This morning, nervous until I got on the bike, I passed my RE test with Georgie at Rockingham, kissed the hubby goodbye and went on my first solo ride with a grin from ear to ear Honestly could not have done it without you Scott, I’ll miss riding with you, but only until I need you again for my R lessons I HIGHLY recommend Scott@learn2ride, for ANYONE.

Fantastic experience: Scott is very friendly, patient and supportive, as well as experienced and knowledgeable. I have tried a few different instructors but he gave me tips and explanations that helped me overcome things I struggled with that no one else had. My second session felt like an enjoyable ride with a mate rather than a lesson! Fantastic experience: Scott is competent, patient and easy to get along with. Not only did I learn the skills required for the RE test but also gained knowledge on how to ride safer and better on the road in general. The two hour booking as suggested is definitely the way to go because I found it's at least half an hour before I got into the swing of it, especially being FIFO. After passing first time it's awesome to be able to ride by myself now and enjoyed riding with the boys through Dwellingup and Boddington last Monday. I won't hesitate in utilizing him in the future for my full license and recommend Learn2ride for anyone else.

Fantastic experience: Went with Scottie to learn to ride as a 55 year old. Very patient and a great communicator. Taught me to not only ride, but ride safely. Just got back from the first ride with my son( who also went with Scott). The best ........ Would thourally recommend him.
