After a bad experience with ABC driving school, I went to Heavy Driving School to complete my MR licence and my instructor/assessor Con was above helpful and knowledgable. He has industry experience which is great and made it stress free and an enjoyable experience overall. I highly recommend Heavy driving School.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this driving school. My trainer, Con, was very personable, patient, helpful and had a great sense of humour. I had zero prior experience (I didn’t even know how to use the ratchet straps) and I was taught everything on the day and passed my assessment first time. I also found the truck well maintained and easy to use. The price was very competitive and it felt like they really wanted you to pass instead of hoping you’d fail so that they could charge an additional fee. If you’re tossing up options, look no further, these are your guys. Good luck!!

Fantastic experience: Con Papas is the Trainer if you want to gain confidence in driving any heavy vehicle, safely and pass the test successfully. He is friendly but firm & fair. Of course he will be critical with your mistakes but that is to make you a better driver. Can highly recommend Con for this job. Also a shout out to Carlo Lauricella of United Transport Solutions who ensured that we pass the Certificate 3 in Driving Operations successfully. A good team - UTS & HDS :)

Negative experience: I just phoned enquiring on MC licence price only to be spoken to like i was a child. Owner is very rude and i booked with a different company due to his poor customer service. I wish i would give - 0 stars for customer service.

Fantastic experience: I recently spent two day's with Con getting my RR HR license. Con was fantastic - pushing me to continually improve and refine my skills. Having had limited exposure (farm driving) previously I saw notable improvements towards the end of the first day. The second day (after a good sleep), Con got to work, further improving my technique (and addressing some obvious issues). If you are looking to become a better driver and/or to get your upgrade / licenses - I highly recommend Con and Heavy Driving School. Will be back in 12months for my HC.

Fantastic experience: Used HTDS to complete HR driving course for NSW Ambulance. Con is dedicated and professional in ensuring all skills are learnt effectively. Fantastic experience: Great school - taught efficiently and without stress which relaxed my nerves. Gave lots of practice to feel comfortable and successfully got my HR Licence. Would recommend.

Positive experience: I went for my H C driving test with Con an Mitch. Con did my pre driving test and I found him direct and to the point which is what you want when handling such a heavy weight on the road. Even to the point of how your handling yourself in the cab, so I found all of Con's helpful criticism spot on. Mitch, although not much was said at first plenty was said after test which has and will put into practice whenever I'm driving a H C set up. Fantastic experience: Con Is a very Professional Trainer with many years of Industry experience. Jumping From a Hr to Mc licence is a very daunting experience. The Training I recieved from Con was amazing. Con is a very Calm Trainer that explains everything clearly and professionally while guiding in the correct way to approach daily driving in such a large vehicle and multi combination in various traffic scenarios and conditions. Definately would highly Recommend anyone wanting to upgrade their Licence to Contact Heavy Truck Driving School. I Would also recommend anyone upgrading from a Hr with no trailer experience, to Just upgrade to Hc Semi first and gain some experience in just the Semi aspect and then do the Mc licence upgrade in the future after gaining Some Semi experience. Fantastic experience: 10 out of 10 service. Con puts you on a such good vibe so you don't get nervous getting your hr licence. The truck it self that you do the test on is top condition and perfect for you to do your test. I have already told all my mates to go to con . Just book with con and you won't regret it .

Fantastic experience: I trained with Con at the Heavy Driving School, Wetherill Park, Sydney. Apart from driving mini buses and light trucks as a school teacher on a LR licence, I have had no HR experience (a novice). Con was highly professional, organised and sequential in his training. He built my confidence really well and gave me a lot of really practical tips during the day. He reinforced key concepts all day. A real bonus was his expert coaching in the process of applying for jobs (things to think about; what to watch out for; practical tips; approaches; questions to ask - when applying for different HR driving jobs). Got my licence on the Monday and accepted a full time job with a great haulage company by the Friday. Thanks Con! 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Thanks con and Tony!, recently passed my HR to MC test, couldn't asked for a better set of blokes to teach me the skills and knowledge of driving a b-double, very acknowledgeable and would highly recommend these guys to anyone. Negative experience: The instructor, Con, had very bad behavious, not friendly, always yelling not nicely. The technique he used very bad, just did one time and asked you to remember. When you made mistake he yelled and seemed that you are very stuppid. He kit me out of the truck after 2 hours even I paid for 1 day course. Who know what he did after that teaching another one, go to the pub go to movie with girl friend using my money. You have to consider before paying the money. Not Recommended. I have the driver licence since 1981. I have had very good records in obey road rules and safety in 35 years of driving. I have driven many places in Australia. The only difference that I mentioned in Sydney vs Perth is the bus lane. The money was paid to Con is the funded money by govenment to upskill my licence. This is one day course. I believe that i have done the best to learn how to drive the truck. But Con kept picking up answer the phone to his customer. He did not pay his attention, yelling at very late happen. I came to him for learning how to drive a truck not came for a test drive so if I had mistakes, he took the truck back. The government funding money is also my money and tax paying money. It may be paid less to Con for my driving lessons but not meaning i am not the same at other private trainers.
