Fantastic experience: I did a 10 lap session in a formula ford at SMSP on 17/11/24, wow, how good is this experience, I’ve road raced motorcycles for over 40 years, but with the great and enthusiastic staff, I learnt a little more about getting these fantastic cars around the track, and had an absolute blast. I’ll definitely come back to do Stage 2, and go the 20 lap session, it’s not cheap but it’s so well worth it, the cars are the real deal, you have a team leader/mechanic helping you one on one. Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of participating in a race day organised by Anglo Race Academy, driving a Formula Ford race car, and I can confidently say it was an experience to remember. From start to finish, the day was incredibly smooth and fun, all thanks to the dedication and professionalism of Dan and his team. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the excitement of the day. Their attention to detail and genuine passion for what they do made the entire experience truly enjoyable. Dan and his team also took exceptional care of my wife and me, making sure we felt comfortable and well looked after at every turn. Whether it was providing clear instructions, answering any questions we had, or just making sure we were having a great time, their commitment to our enjoyment was evident throughout. If you’re looking for a day of thrilling racing and top-notch service, I can’t recommend Anglo Race Academy enough. It’s an experience not to be missed!

From getting there, checking in, the ride and then leaving. Everyone was so friendly and my driver was sensational. Loved every minute of it. I'll be back.......

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience and it's worth every second…. Having completed the Stage 1 Experience as a birthday gift in Jan 24, I quickly jumped at the opportunity for the Stage 2 Experience at SMSP (South/Amaroo Circuit) in Feb 24. Both experiences were awesome, but the Stage 2 does take it to another level. With the longer track it is 100% more challenging and fun! It means that you get more time to understand/grasp the dynamics of the car when you get exposed to off-camber corners and the flow/rhythm of the track especially towards the back section. If you and your skills are up for it, you can push a little harder as well. More throttle, more speed, more gear changes and harder braking means that you get a greater appreciation/understanding on how Formula Fords are to drive. If you are not up for pushing it that’s okay, as you still get the awesome experience! The smaller group size in Stage 2 also makes the experience feel more personal. You feel like you can interact with the staff a bit more and it’s encouraged by Dan and the team as well. They can give you some advice on how to drive the car and they are all friendly and welcoming. For my experience I had John as the person looking after the car and he was always great to talk to. I would recommend Stage 1 to anyone who enjoys motorsport and for anyone who has done Stage 1, I would highly recommend Stage 2. It just builds on what you have done and amplifies it. You will walk away with many smiles per miles…or laps in this instance! Cheers Chris A

Fantastic experience: It doesn't matter if you have experience in open wheelers or you are new in driving on tracks. Anglo Racing team is the perfect place to have a nice day on track. Safe and full of fun. Very professional people and friendly bring motorsport into a clam yet exciting environment. No pressure, just go out there and enjoy. I truly recommend all the experiences, but do not only stay in stage 1, the true fun comes after you got the first try! Dan will always answer your questions and make you feel part of a professional team.

Welcoming and friendly right from the get-go with great instruction to ensure we got the most out of the day. Fantastic experience: Had the best day ever at the Advanced Test Day with Anglo Racing! @angloracingacademy After having completed the Stage1and 2 Formula Ford experience with Anglo Racing, I thought I knew what I was in for - boy was I wrong. Having your own car for the day, your own crew chief (thanks Dan), only 3 other drivers and track to yourself is a recipe for success. Dan helped me, one on one, to extract the most out of my experience by providing plenty of feedback, debriefing the footage taken and then turning that into further areas for me to improve in the following sessions. I drove as hard as I wanted and managed over 90 timed laps, between 8am and 4pm. This was a massive achievement for not only me but the Anglo team. Thank you! My biggest takeaway from the day was my driving development, strengths and weaknesses. Having only driven a formula ford twice before, with the help of Dan, I achieved consistent lap times whilst implementing all of Dan's constructive feedback. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone, it was worth every second spent in the seat.

Fantastic experience: I've done a heap of different race experiences. V8s commodores, mustangs, skid pan, drifting. This was far and away the most fun I've had on 4 wheels. A professional outfit with heaps of instruction before jumping in these little beasts. 10 laps was not enough, I'll be coming back

Fantastic experience: Thanks once again to Tim, Dan and the team for a brilliantly organised and managed track day at Barnawartha last Saturday. A special shout out to Blake, my wingman this time. Another fantastic, adrenalin-pumped session to keep the blood circulating in this 68 year old kid. Guenther might be proud I got the car home straight, even though I'm not a little ******* viking! Looking forward to next Feb.

Fantastic experience: Can't believe it was that much fun! The car was amazing. Precise steering, stopped on a dime and the grip in the corners was unbelievable. For a 1.6L engine it had all the power needed for a thrilling drive. The crew were fantastic and made everyone feel relaxed and confident. I paid for 10 laps but was held up by a slower driver, so they extended my session by 2 laps. Can't recommend this drive experience highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Had a terrific day. The whole team are amazing, welcoming and friendly. Took the time to walk you through the whole experience and help on the track. They never got upset or dismayed at my poor driving and at every stage they were right there to help. Can't praise the team enough and would recommend to anyone who wanted to try a race car experience to give it a go regardless of your skill level. They make it accessible to all that visit. Fantastic experience: Great experience from beginning to end. Blasted around the track in the back of the 2-seater and couldnt wipe the smile from my face the entire time. Absolutely recommend giving this a go, but get the media pack add-on because the session goes quick and the video will help you remember it all later on. The team at Anglo Racing Academy were professional, friendly and approachable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a bit of an adrenaline rush on the track.

Positive experience: Only 2 cars on track at anytime, the video of overtaking is actually not permitted on any corners at all so a false advertising/exagerated excitement there IMO. Not F1 anything, maybe formula ford, even calling it an F1 experience is far from accurate. The 8pm session was a bad idea as helmets fogged up and it felt as blind as driving through a nascar pileup most of the time as visor wouldnt stay up even a notch to get airflow. The driver briefing claims: if you got stuck behind the only other car on the short circuit they would flag them over in the one and only one overtaking area up the hill on the straight and you would get an extra lap but 3 laps later, nothing, end of the $45/lap and still didn't see the turtle waved off the race line, then called in and ignored when I asked about the extra laps, they got ya money already.. Pretty much just stuck in 3rd gear the whole track and maybe 1.5s in 4th but thats ok as theres plenty of corners and track positioning to deal with. no amenenties available, so BYO hydration (only a fridge for staff usage), and BYO helmet if you have a good one, no times recorded so as soon as you get off the track may as well be a ghost. I wouldn't take ya mates as not much bragging rights if only one other car. probably be alot of fun for someone who has never been in a go-kart or they actually did follow the overtaking briefing rules and get turtle out the way. almost as bad as the "rally car " experience at Colo heights. 5 star for safety 2 Star for F1 experience Sorry, no fake review from me.

Positive experience: Overall a great experience in the 2 seater. Dan and the team were all super helpful and accommodating. I just wish the actual experience went for longer (only because it was so good). Perhaps pay a few extra $$ and do 6-8 laps, would have then been perfect! Thanks team!

Fantastic experience: Absolute blast!! The experience is awesome staff are very friendly and approachable, The team ended up giving me 2 extra laps because the driver in front slowed me down for two whole laps. Video quality was great hence they were using our beloved DJI Action 3 cameras. One Advice!! If you don't know how to drive manual, Please learn, and practice the basics before you go, otherwise the experience won't be as described. DON'T SLOW PEOPLE DOWN. I can see myself going to the stage two if it goes on special !!

Fantastic experience: Great opportunity to get in a real race car. The cars are easy to drive, super responsive and plenty fast. The Anglo crew were super organised, very helpful and provided a very professional experience. Shout out to Isaac - enthusiastic and helpful getting me in and out of the car.

Positive experience: Count your laps! The manager is more interested in throughput than customer experience. Having paid for 10 laps, I was called in after 5 laps. Fellow driver agreed that I only completed 5 laps, Anglo had no interest in discussing the error and insisted that I had completed 10 laps. I was told that if I had purchased the overpriced video they could verify it. Anglo Racing contacted me and kindly refunded 50% of the cost, however these types of activities are about the experience and not the money.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Anglo Racing Academy. I purchased the 20 lap package and the briefings and instructions were very professional and informative. The instructors were very good in explaining how I could be better and very informative with the cars. Hats off to Cam who had to explain how to drive properly in a manual car to a complete novice!

Fantastic experience: What a great experience! The staff were professional and friendly and made sure we knew all the rules for making the most of it. The only limit on the track was where we could overtake (and my bravery!). I was held up by other drivers a few times but they gave me extra laps as compensation so I got the full experience of going as fast as I could for 20 laps. I'm still buzzing days later. Pierre was a great Crew Chief, very encouraging and knowledgeable. The onboard video is great for reliving it all, including the spins :-) If you love go-karting you'll LOVE this. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: This experience was absolutely great, the team was really helpful. I would give it 5 stars but I paid extra $69 to get the video in the car and their camera didn’t work (got the money back), very disappointing as this is an experience you don’t do every day. It would have been nice if they had offered me couple of extra laps to get a video, but it is what it is. Next time I’ll take my own camera. Overall very happy with the experience highly recommended and take your own camera so that this doesn’t happen to you.

Fantastic experience: Can’t say enough about the 10 laps F1 experience at Eastern Creek. It’s not often that a product like this exceeds all expectations and this one did. There were moments where I couldn’t believe they allow novices drive these vehicles. You can still take it easy but if you choose to push yourself there is no limit. Special shout out to Justin and especially to Debbie who runs the back of house operations like a Swiss watch

Positive experience: Overall awesome experience. Definitely recommend good go kart drivers and motorsport fans give it a go. Wish the equipment used are more professional and cleaner. There's no proper neck brace nor seat insert. Where it was provided in normal rental kart places. And the flag Marshall point is really difficult to see when on track, could improve there. And wish there will be laptime afterwards.

Positive experience: Staff were very friendly and helpful providing an awesome and exhilarating experience. My only complaint is that there were no earplugs provided resulting in sore ears during the ride. Ringing in ears has been pretty bad since.

Fantastic experience: This was a great experience, from the comunication through booking (and rearranging many times through covid), to the actual day. Excellent briefing and training before they let you get close to one of the race cars, I was nervously excited about being out on the track on my own, and seeing what I could do. I tracked the driving experience as a workout on my watch, with my heart rate hitting 178bpm, it was also physically tiring. It takes 10 x laps to get used to the car, the 2nd 10x laps is where I really had fun! You'll love it!

Fantastic experience: I received a Formula Ford experience for my bday, and due to covid I had to be delayed. But it was well worth the wait! even though it was pouring rain I had a blast and will definitely be back for other racing experience. If you like motor racing and want to feel like lewis and max with out the crashes I definitely recommend this!

Fantastic experience: What an absolute awesome experience, I had with Anlgo Racing Academy at Wakefield Park Raceway. 3 runs of 8 laps each after many spins on the first run I saw my lap times get progressively better during the following runs thanks to some useful coaching. The cars are amazing to drive, the team were amazing and day was run really well. If you are thinking of doing this don't think just book, you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: A great experience. Good cars and not for the faint hearted. The guys and girls tell you all you need to know. They dont lose it if you spin like most places, just give you tips how not to next lap around which is refreshing! Its the proper job. Only improvment could be timed laps so you can measure any improvements

Fantastic experience: Was gifted an experience here. It was so much fun. The vehicles are proper race cars with manual gear box. The track is simple enough to get around and fun for someone doing this for the first time. A must for someone who likes speed. Will be going back for more.
