Fantastic experience: I have passed the test in my first try thanks to the several instructors i’ve been with; Tony, Chris, and especially SIMON. My sessions with you have been fun and professional, and your teachings are understandable and efficient. I highly recommend SIMON for those who are interested in learning to drive safely and pass the test in first take.

Negative experience: My recent experience with Onroad Driving Education was extremely poor. While my instructor, Chris, taught in an engaging manner, utilising a variety of easy to remember rhymes and acronyms, I would not recommend him to nervous drivers, as he took away my driving confidence as an already anxious driver. I booked a lesson with him a few days prior to my driving test, to use the remaining hours of a 10-hour pack I booked when I first started to drive. I had been having lessons with another excellent driving instructor from a different company during my driving journey, as I thought he suited me better, specifically as he made me feel much more supported and comfortable. During the 2-hour driving lesson I had with Chris prior to my driving test, he told me bluntly that I was not at all ready for the driving test and would fail, that I should cancel it and that I was taught a variety of techniques incorrectly by my other driving instructor, among many other criticisms. Rather than helping me fix it and building my confidence, he would continually criticise me and encouraged me that the only way was to book a lot more lessons with him. While I do understand that this was his professional opinion, the way he delivered this criticism dramatically increased my driving anxiety both during the driving lesson and before the test and made the driving lesson an unpleasant experience, where I instead left much less confident. After much conviction from my other driving instructor that had enthusiastically supported me throughout my driving journey and who thought I was extremely capable and ready for the test, I passed with 100%, a few days after my driving experience with Chris. While I still have a few hours left of the 10 – pack we bought, I refuse to go back for any more lessons. I wrote this in the hope that no other anxious drivers would feel let down and even more nervous after driving with this company.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently started practicing with on roads and I’am genuinely so happy to be apart of such an amazing program. From the scheduling of appointments and flexibility. My instructor Sandy is an exceptional teacher, that is patient kind and understanding. Overall he has shown me many ways to be safer on the roads than I would’ve have before practicing with him .

Negative experience: If you block other peoples driveways while waiting for your students to start their driving lesson, NO respect or consideration and swear at them WHAT ROAD RULES ARE YOU TEACHING YOUR STUDENTS. YOU ARE MEANT TO BE A ROLE MODEL.

Fantastic experience: I highly recomend Con. He is a great instructor. It was really hard for me to get back into driving after many years, but he is really patient and helped me to overcome the fear of driving and get my licence. He also teaches you everything that you need to know before the test. He is amazing.

Fantastic experience: I’ve driven with Onroad and Simon Ambrosoli in particular for 20+ hours and just passed my test today! Simon was an incredible instructor who helped me past my initial fears and create a safe and fun environment to learn this important skill - would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Really satisfied with my driving lessons with Kumar! He helped me learn a lot about driving in such of period time as well as during a few lessons. I passed my Ps not long after my lessons with Kumar and I was very happy with the results of my lessons with Kumar!

Fantastic experience: In the final determining hour prior to my driving test when we met for the first time, Con was able to suss out my area of weakness and provided a crash course in safe driving. I’m pleased to say that with his systematic guidance, pragmatic and calm demeanour, I passed my driving test on the first try.

Fantastic experience: As someone who deals with anxiety on a regular basis, I get scared about a lot of things, but I've never once felt anxious driving with Marta Pedroso. She was always incredibly patient and kind with me, never once reprimanded me for failing to achieve something (even if it was something we'd been working on for a while), and in fact, managed to make situations that would have been stressful/intense quite funny and teachable experiences. I'm quite a sensory person too, and so have difficulty concentrating when there's lots of noise - but Marta was able to introduce conversations and music into our lessons over time so that I'd get accustomed to accommodating passengers when I started driving on my own. As I'm not native to Sydney, and so couldn't really learn to drive through help from friends and parents, Marta's extensive knowledge was extremely reassuring. She taught me so much - not just about the road rules, but also about how cars worked, what to consider when thinking about investing in a car, and how to be good passenger and pedestrian in addition to a good driver. Booking lessons with her was super easy, and pick ups and drop offs were also extremely convenient. Plus, Marta always made sure to vary my lessons so I got to drive around different areas, at varying speeds, in all sorts of traffic/weather conditions, and at different times of the day - but always introducing new factors at a pace that matched my learning speed. I knew I wanted a female driving instructor before I ever started lessons, but I'm genuinely so glad I got to learn from Marta. She's really changed my perceptions on driving, and helped me become both a safe and confident driver :)

Fantastic experience: Con is truly the best! I feel very lucky that I listened to all the reviews online and picked him because I couldn’t wish for a better driving instructor. He is cool, calm and collected! :) Con not only teaches you how to pass your test but he also sets you up for driving safe in the future. Definitely wouldn’t be able to pass my test and become a confident driver without him!

Negative experience: This company does not even deserve one star!!! Extremely appalling in customer's experience! I was excited to book in a few driving lessons and it was my mistake that I had booked many in advance to be organised, And also I don't have a lot of time so when I found a driving school that I could book a lesson for 6 AM it was great. However my 1st experience the driving instructor didn't turn up I tried calling him multiple times which I was hung up on then I left a voice message for the company which was never returned I also sent an email which was never replied too! So I called during business hours and got through and discussed what had happened wanting a refund for all the lessons I had booked as I didn't want to proceed with anyone else if this was the experience I was going to be met with. I received an email stating everything had been cancelled and I was refunded immediately without any issue but only 3 hours however I had booked 10!! So I'm not quite sure exactly why 3 was immediate however the rest was not!! I struggle with my mental health and this does not help as I don't want to keep following up on a company that I thought was reputable!! I hope this matter is resolved soon!!!

Negative experience: Such a terrible experience! First time ever taking a driving lesson today as a complete beginner and it was with Sarah Wolfe. This woman is incapable of teaching a beginner, even I think a non-beginner! I'll start with... 1. Coming 15min late (even after asking me to move my original session to 30 minutes later) 2. Wasted some minutes to book my next lesson (why, when I can just book online) 3. ATE, yes, ate during the lesson (would you believe that?!) 4. Let out a condescending sigh when I was driving slow (hello, was she expecting me to drive really fast?) 5. But what really irked me the most was when she started yelling at me 15 mins into the lesson because I wasn't doing what she wanted me to do. She kept on telling me to look to my right before turning left, which I've been doing after she told me the first time, but obviously couldn't see me doing it because, well, maybe busy eating! That yelling thing went on for another 15 bloody minutes, expecting me to get everything right in my first lesson. I couldn't stand her so I walked out after about 30 minutes into the lesson (if you could call it a lesson, more like frantically yelling really). To say the least, I am utterly disappointed. I challenge OnRoad Driving to at least publish the not so good reviews about your drivers on your website. All you are publishing are obviously the good reviews only, and that is totally misleading! I fell for that cr*p!

Negative experience: Terrible experience. My wife went for a first lesson with Sarah as an absolute beginner, and quit halfway through. Condescending, late, easily panicked, ate during the lesson, no initial skill assessment, apparently expected a first timer to already know how to operate a vehicle.

Positive experience: My first experience with them wasn’t so pleasant because the instructor and I had different ways of teaching and learning and that really destroyed my confidence. But my second experience with Con was fantastic. I’m now super confident about my driving and ready to take on the roads. Def recommend him

Fantastic experience: I am so happy to have Con Skarparis as my instructor. He is the best! extremely patient ! He teaches you exactly things you will need to pass the exam. He has taken care of me until the exam’s done! Strongly recommend if you have overseas licence and need to pass local exam. Strongly recommend if you are just a junior trying to get P plate . Con teaches you not only how to pass how to drive safe for your future as well, he creates a good habits. The best!

Negative experience: Sarah was extremely distracted while taking me for lessons. On my first lesson she spent most of the lesson trying to book me in for future ones and calling other students to move around her timetable. On another lesson she was distracted doing tarot card readings and then directed me to drive to milsons point to pick up her dinner. I honestly don't mind this as it's still driving practise but given that she gave minimal instructions and was distracted the whole time it felt like I was her Uber.

Fantastic experience: I was able to pass my driving test at Chatswood with Reg's help. The testing course is quite tough but after a few sessions I knew it like the back of my hand. Reg also improved my confidence on the roads considerably, on highways, with parking, and navigating traffic. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Con SKARPARIS::: was very broad when he instructed me. Given me all small details that made the difference in my test. I approved with 107% and I was feeling very confident before the test. He is incredibly instructor. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: As Chatswood is one the difficult suburbs to do the driving test, I thank Con as my instructor who made me pass 1st go at Chatswood. Con is very patient and quickly picks up the area I need to improve. This allowed me to accelerate fixing my mistakes and advance my preparation for the driving test. I highly recommend Con.

Positive experience: I booked with Sarah because I saw a lot of positive reviews. She was great in giving positive reinforcement, but she was scrolling through Instagram for most of the session which was quite distracting. My session was her last for the day, and I could also tell that she was getting quite impatient and tired, which made session rather unpleasant towards the end.

Fantastic experience: A nervous Mum desperate for some piece of mind, I booked a Highway Driving lesson for my son ahead of a Schoolies road trip. I sent him off with Reg who told engaging stories and created challenges that my son found really valuable. Fantastic experience: I had 2 practice sessions with Sarah Wolfe & Chris Gardiner. They are both experienced instructors. I love their straight-forward method of teaching, no sugarcoating and tell you bluntly what NOT to do if you want to pass in first go. They rectified my bad habits in driving and taught me all the tricks with reverse parallel parking, 3 points turn..etc. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Reg Lazarus is a great instructor! He has a very patient and calm personality which is what you need when you're anxious about driving or passing your test. And he's got a great sense of humour and cracks funny jokes which is great when you're feeling nervous. I would highly recommend contacting Reg for your driving lessons. You're bound to pass your test after a few lessons with him!

Fantastic experience: Chris Gardiner is the best driving instructor in Sydney. I've been to a few other driving schools before and no one are up to his standards. Chris made me unlearn my bad driving habits and re-learn the correct ones and gave me enough confidence to pass my driving test in the first go. Whether you are learning to drive for the first time or even if you've driven overseas before, you will definitely enjoy the way he teaches driving. No matter how bad a driver you are, Chris will fix it up for you with his beautiful 'AUMINI'. Fantastic experience: Chris was a great instructor. He was patient and explained everything in detail. You could tell he has a lot of experience teaching driving and specifically to young women as he knew how to put his student at ease to not stress about the driving, and teaching to be brave and safe at the same time. He also made it fun and easy to memorize rules, techniques and common mistakes to avoid. Finally, as I was an experienced driver overseas, he adapted his approach to my specific situation.

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic two lessons with Sohail Vincent. His outstanding professionalism and easy to follow and thorough teaching helped me finally pass my P's. He taught me some some unique and extremely worthwhile techniques I would not have been taught if I did not have him as my instructor, which thanks to these special techniques I believe helped me passed. Definitely would recommend Sohail to all wanting to get some driving experience or sit their P's test, he is the best!

He is able to target skills for improvement, discuss techniques to make changes and put this into practice.
