Mum wears a cochlear and can't hear great but Mark sent me videos weekly to help mum get through the sections she was having trouble with, so that I could explain it and get her to practice what was needed. Negative experience: The Instructor likes to switch to the driver seat and demonstrate manoeuvres and some times is in the driver seat for 10-20 minutes. In the Log book it says 'heavy penalties apply for false entries, the entry will be rejected and any licence issued will be void' if he writes 1hr 20 mins in the book but I was only in control for an hour, could this impact my chances of getting a licence?? I wonder what the DPTI would say about this???

Fantastic experience: Mark was fantastic and I would highly recommend him as an instructor. Very thorough, professional and knowledgeable, with great tips to help learn the assessable skills. He is also calm and patient and quickly puts students at ease. My son is at uni in Melbourne and Mark went out of his way to be available to give him lessons and get the test completed. I would reccomend him to absolutely anyone, he made me feel comfortable whilst driving, was attentive and honest to exactly where I needed to adjust. Told me on my first lesson he thought it would be a waste if money if I didn't do my vort test asap so he booked it all in for me and after 3 lessons and a drive prior to my test, he allowed me to hire his car and pass on my first attempt. I couldn't be happier with how my lessons went down

She completed her competency based training and passed her practical driving test three and a halve months later. I was invited to come along and after the first lesson I could see she was very comfortable. Mark is friendly, approachable, calm, patient and skilled. With his calm demeanour and humour he creates a relaxed environment that makes learning so much easier. it made me as a mother feel confident that she was getting the best basis for her future driving and it was great to take her driving myself after that without too much stress . I could not believe some of the situations that I was confident to manage by the end of my training. Mark is a brilliant instructor and my lessons became enjoyable very quickly. Fantastic experience: Have never had someone so patient and understanding of my needs under stress before. Mark really is a good teacher if you've got severe anxiety. I was on my L's for 8 years until i found him. I gained enough confidence and he made sure i felt safe enough to be able to learn without stressing too much. I'm now happily driving safely on the road with my 4 yr old boy and don't panic at all. He really did help me and I appreciate it so so much.
